      @@UserRobot215 I don't think Chads really date. They just slam. LOL. But to your point - I agree it's a lot easier for the tall good looking Chad. But I've known a lot of shorter (under 5'6"), average looking, not wealthy guys who were surprisingly successful with women. How did they do it? They definitely had game - they were very funny, charming, and had charisma. But I think there's one other big point - they knew what kind of girls to go after and where. Clearly these guys would have gotten nowhere on dating apps, or in the bars and clubs. So they targeted meeting girls in person and they went after girls who seemed to be more open; maybe from experience they got a vibe that a certain type of girl would be more open to them. Interestingly a lot of these girls were pretty attractive, definitely better than average.

      Being in my mid-40's I thought the exact same thing. Most guys in their mid 40's are already bald or balding bad enough they have to shave their heads. Plus, most of them have beer guts or big guts too. Its part of the horrible diet most eat, the grind of daily life, and just plain old slowing down of the metabolism. So, I already know a woman in my age range won't really care about appearance as much.

      @@rorschach775 Good point. Women usually hit 'the wall' pretty hard once they get into their 40s and by their 50s, you wouldn't even look at them twice. I graduated from high school over 40 years ago and there are only 2 women from my class that are still reasonably attractive. All the others have asses the size of refrigerators, wrinkles all over their faces, and unless the dye their hair, they look 20 years older than they are. The vast majority of women just don't age well.
      The same can be said of some men, also. But it seems that, generally speaking, the guys age a bit more gracefully than the women.

      Think about it this way:
      right now the dating market is a female oligopoly. If many male buyers stop buying by practicing abstinence, stop the simping (thirst traps on social media and @nlyfans) and by settling only for women at their looks level (which implies dumping or divorcing a woman below the looks level of her man). The market might gradually shift to benefit men.

    • @moleahy6880
      @moleahy6880 Рік тому +70

      @Laura UK A woman is just given her value (physical attractiveness) but a man has to achieve his value (status). Even that average man has had to work hard to achieve something and be something. He is expected to give his time, his energy, and his resources. Is that expected from the average woman? No but it damn well should be. So what does the average woman bring? Nothing really except entitlement and very high expectations. She wants this and she wants that. She deserves this and she deserves that. She's a queen, a princess, a superstar. I never hear average men talking this way.

    • @evantaylor9527
      @evantaylor9527 Рік тому +25

      @Laura UK From my experience, the only reason some men don't appear picky, is because some men might f*uck average women, while pretending to be interested in them, and then easily filter those women out later (while they look for the attractive woman, they actually want to breed with) and they seem very choosy while selecting the woman they want to have a long term relationship with, esp based on looks, from my experience, men chose women purely based on their looks/body, age and personality, while women choose men based on a lot of factors including their wealth, socio-economic status, power, looks, resources, altogether, which is one of the reasons why women's dating market value typically goes down as they gets into their 30's and more, while men's value goes up as they hit 30's and up.

      I've been there. Resist taking it personally. If she's telling you her life story, she's interested in you, selling herself. Good to listen intently, you don't want to ask her a question later about something she's gone over. She could test you on it but she may well be just a little giddy, very happy to have your attention. If she's yammering, shock her out of it by interrupting and ask her if she wants to know anything about you. It's a simple test. If she's interested at all, she'll say yes and come around, but if the answer is no, then plan your exit.

When I first started dating my gf she had a good balance of wanting to know more about me and sharing about herself, but the longer we've been together, the more she feels comfortable just sharing. I just learned to listen and let her go, because I know it means a lot to her to get to talk and especially since she's introverted, so I'm one of the few people she gets really excited about talking to. I also try to share stuff too sometimes and she'll listen, she's just not as apt to ask about it, but we keep an open line of communication to make sure we're both heard

      I think we're all attuned to voices. Men can really dislike the voice of certain women too. Fran Drescher made a career out of her screechy voice,so did Rosanne Barr. On the positive side, men so often comment on how feminine and pleasant Courtney's voice is. I admire it as a woman. I always had a deeper voice, but not that I'd ever be mistaken for a man on the phone. Men did say they liked that. someone mentioned to " compare how their mom/dad is to know if you'll like them when they're older". I'm glad you mention an older relative because I actually have a take on the psuedo-sociology aspect of this. So if their dad got mean with age (and its not your fault if thats the case but i wouldnt like it if he thought that was admirable behavior), I'd be afraid they get that way too. But if their older relative is humble/emotionally-intelligent and likes to read and caring, I like more. Like I'd really like to get to know someones relatives because that someone like it or not has aspects of them and if I hate their mom or pop and they love their mom or pop than its an insult to them so yeah definitely if I get along with their parents/parental figure/whom they look up to is really important to me at least.

But when you want an actual relationship, then you have to worry about a million more things, like what's your personality like, can I talk to you for long periods of time without being bored, what's your family like, are you bad with money, are you messy or unclean, do you have a job, how do you act in public.. all those are things you look at when you want a relationship, that you don't have to look at it if all you're trying to do is have a one night stand or a short fling.

    5. Learn a demographically relevant 2nd language. In the US? Learn Spanish, for example.

    The take away from all of this is we as guys need to understand that you just need to show you care about your appearance. Your appearance is like the tip of the iceberg in that it hints at the more important and deeper personality attributes and traits. Showing you have just a tiny bit of muscle says that you actually take the time to go to the gym or are active. You don't have to be the best dressed or have the biggest muscles or be the best at any of it you just need to show that you're trying to always improve in all these areas and that you care. This shows girls that you have motivation, discipline, attention to detail, etc. It's like the old cliche that a women wants a many with a lot of money. It's not because they want all his money it's because they're attracted to his motivation, drive to be successful, financial discipline. On the surface these subtle details seem shallow but in reality when you put them all together it builds a really accurate picture of who you are deep down inside.

      IMO strength > appearance looks don’t really have health benefits (except one I can think of) all it really shows is u have lower body fat % (hey at least we aren’t overweight or underweight) plus built a lil muscle. When you train for objectivity rather then subjectivity (which training to look good is it’s not objective it’s subjective in nature) then all styles of training improve weather that be to run faster, lift heavier, jump higher, run longer distances etc etc all this done in respect to recovery all have mental and physical health benefits. Also it makes you more satisfied and confident, u have a goal and the only one you are trying to beat is yourself (unless your competing in a sport and hey healthy competition is good). This also shows you are actually useful to people.
      Now don’t get me wrong I love especially now getting into nice cool looking clothes (subjective I like a lot of under-amour sports shit i personally think they have some nice merch), doing my hair, making sure my oral health is on point (crikey M8 we don’t want gum disease) watches etc etc but this is because I get an hit of endorphins and it helps me to love myself. So if it gives u that boost in yourself that’s probs why looking good might be good hey hey if it helps with the ladies then that’s a win win my fellow kings.

Wrinkles on the face, arms, hands, feet etc. Hair loss, receeding hair line, it all changes, some faster, some slower, depending on your lifestyle. The goal is to be healthy, within your normal body weight and physically active. And you attitude makes a huge difference. Bigger than you might imagine.

    They were asked questions and provided honest answers, publicly. That, in and of itself is not shallow - it's courageous. I think they showed a range of traits and what I noticed most was that they were sweet, driven, confident, intelligent, and yes, accepting of others in their own ways. There were some differences in standards, and that's okay. Either way, a person is entitled to have their own preferences, to choose, and they don't owe the world a justification, nor is it fair for others to judge another on such things (having a view on something does not necessarily make you judgmental). Love yourself, accept yourself, and have some self-compassion. If you do, you'd gain the confidence and contentment that comes with knowing your own self-worth is not dependent on others' opinions of you. That is, you'd be internally validated, rather than externally validated. Learn to let go of the question, "am I good enough?" And know that the answer is, "I am good enough." I could be unattractive to 95% of women, maybe all women, but if I know that I got up this morning and gave the day my best (even if some days, my best seems to me like little more than a step back), there's no reason for me to beat myself up about the day, nor should I believe that I'm inferior because another didn't find me attractive. I am who I am. I do the best I can. I'm human. I try to improve, to live a fulfilling life, and to care deeply for others (even if they showed little care for me). One day, near the end of my life, I'll reflect on my imperfect life without regret, and with the understanding that I did all I could, I tried my best, I showed love such that others knew how much they mean to me. Etc. ...other's' preferences are of no real consequence. Instead, I think judgmental behaviors are more likely your way of coping with insecurities, immaturity, and perhaps past rejection (I'm sorry, if this is the case. Respectfully. Really I am). You don't need everyone to love you. First, learn to love yourself (or at least begin with learning to accept yourself). And have some empathy and compassion for yourself and others (because you never know what hardships, traumas, or other things might have led others to having the preferences they do, and certainly it would be wrong to hold that against them). Take ownership over everything that happens in your life, instead of relying on excuses or blaming others. Do all of these things and you'll find yourself less judgmental, happier, and -wait for it- probably much more attractive to the women you say are shallow.

    This was interesting. I appreciate the ladies taking the time to share their perspective and opinions. Two things immediately came to mind as I watched and listened. 1) I've never even heard of a woman who didn't like/demand/require a man be stylish, well groomed, straight white teeth, fit and (bottom line) attractive in their eyes.
    2) 99.9% of women have never held a labor intensive outdoor job leaving them clueless regarding the effects such jobs often have on many physical features and other aspects discussed. To my ears, everyone of your guests described a white collar man. This reinforces what most men have known the majority of their lives, women don't see 80%+/- of the men in the world. Ask any man the same questions you asked your guests and 90%+ won't care about any of the specifics in your questions.
    "As long as she looks good to me" is what you'll hear from men. Modern women have too many unrealistic expectations/demands and tunnel vision regarding men. The perfect recipe for disappointment.

      If you are talking about Erica, she confuses me in the end. It was weird that she didnt care about anything related to body options but, at the end of the video when they all shared about the first thing they notice in a guy, she said a "strong neck because that means he is fit"... So, does she care or not?

      @@rotierender_lurch exactly! Therefore she cares about being fit, and that means she cares about things she said she didnt. It would be weird if you have a strong gross neck with no strong arms, shoulders, back and/or abs, right? Unless you exercise only your neck...
