Does a video exist for the rest of this session? I really enjoyed seeing how the application could be used to eliminate unwanted interruptions from a recording and I'd be curious to see what the presenter did next with the live recording.
It's such an awesome tool. I bought Elements and then got sucked into buying Standard as you invariably turn into an audio perfectionist. Now I'm listening to YT clips and keep on bitching about the crappy audio quality. So you have been warned! ;-)
I used this to remove some unwanted noise from a vocal. I wish I knew about it for some previous vocals as I had some annoying chatty people in the background.
Hi Arielle How could I remove/attenuate a voice overlapping another voice? It's a dialogue with 2 main persons talking and some background voices, that for moments deviate your attention of the interview, so I need to decrease the molesting voice, not totally erase it because it's impossible, being it overlaps on the main voice. Not so loud but...it's like the whistle example, not totally gone but finally it's not anymore a distraction. Thanks for any advice! :)
when you combine image editing techniques on sound, you get amazing results!! can't wait for 3d waveform thingies audio repairing techniques with AI in the future, lol
Hi ...i am looking to purchase this tool too ,but before i do that ,i may need to know if i can also export that sound out and not just delete from it ..... But at the same quality ..... Example : I may like to export out from some wave movie files , only some foot steps , vocals ,or other sound effects and that brush option will do the work i think ..... Just to paint the particular sound and have the export option on the right click ready for export out as wave or mp3
Great video. Though I wouldn't call it non-destructive. If you wanted to remove, say, the 3rd step of 5 steps of adjustments you've done, you'd have to lose the subsequent steps. Non destructive would be if your edits were essentially 'layers' of adjustments which could be re-edited or removed independently of anything else you've processed.
That wissle sound is indeed annoying, but that spectral repsir recovery feature is something amezing, eventrough it's not reliable since music patterns are random but still the idea behind it is amezing.
@@Glenn55H Good idea, but that only works if you're within a noise reduction plugin. The best way would be to select the frequency then "Export Selection" using Ctrl(Cmd) + Shift + E. That would export only the selected frequencies.

@@VeronicaGorositoMusic You can remove it completely, as shown in the video by selecting the fundamental and harmonics.

There was one more slight visible line down in the high mids.
The girl going "YOU GUYS OK?!" was way more irritating. LOL.
*please give a lesson or a link to a video how to remove vocals*
Anybody know where I can find the rest of the presentation??

can you blur audio like in Image line edison?
Now, what if I wanted to ONLY have the whistle..?
use the
'output noise' feature, after you've selected the 'noise' or whistle. save to file.

Now that you’ve removed the whistle, you’re looking for the other things you want to remove.
I want an izotope sticker
