Hi Majovel this a beautiful pattern and I have started this pattern for a 6 yr old girl. I think just multiples of 6 is enough and plus 2 is not required in this pattern. You have provided a very clear instructions where nobody can go wrong anywhere. Thanks a lot for all your effort and hardwork.
