Saratoga Springs is my home resort since 2007! I have stayed here, no kidding, at least 30 times. My favorite area is the only area you did not go to, Congress Park. It also has a pool, so there are 4, not 3 pools. The smaller pools are called “quiet” pools. I love sitting in the pool and hot tub in that section of the resort and listening to the music from Disney Springs and watching the Air Balloon go up and down. I participated in the Disney Institute as part of a all inclusive Disney vacation back in the 90’s. I wish they still had it, it was the best Disney vacation I’ve ever had. Took cooking, art and animation voice over classes. Plus played all 5 Disney golf courses and ate at the top restaurants, everything was included.
One of my DVC home resorts is Saratoga, but I use that ton of points to stay at Beach Club or Boardwalk. Get multi-bedroom units and have friends stay with us, and have goofy crazy fun.
Great video! We are owners here and stayed in a one bedroom last December and had a great time. The resort is very relaxing and quiet. The buses were actually great and we hardly waited regardless of the park. Rooms are recently refurbished and lovely. Being within walking distance to DS is perfection and the boat ride is amazing. BTW the spa hasn’t reopened since covid and rumor is, it will not reopen. Each section has its own “quiet” pool so I think there are 5 pools total.
We stayed at Saratoga in early February this year for my Fiancee's birthday and we fell in love with Saratoga. Where we were at in the resort, the Paddock, we couldn't have asked for a better locaiton in relation to the bus stop, and we learned pretty early ours was the 2nd stop when the bus came into the resort. So very rarely did we walk into a packed bus. Only "complaint" was we were there when the High Rocks pool was undergoing maintainence, so the Paddock pool became the main pool and it did get loud at points. But we were far enough away that the noise was deafened out. We loved the laid back nature of the resort and its short distance to Disney Springs!
I was so impressed by how close they made it to Saratoga Springs NY. I am from Saratoga, so when I seen what Disney did I was blown away. Now I'm missing home, I live in Texas now but I'll be in NY this summer then at Disney in December.
We’ve stayed at SSR a few times and absolutely love it, it’s low DVC points and we love how quiet it is and close to the springs. The treehouses where so relaxing and nice!
Beautiful resort! I remember doing the DVC tour when it first opened - they took us to an ice cream parlor there for free snacks :) Saratoga is only a few hours away from me - but I've never been! Thanks for great overlook! Wendy Lady
Stayed several times in the Treehouse villas, Grand Stand, and Congress Park. One of my favorite resorts mainly due to the accessibility to Disney Springs, the parks, and resort hopping options. Highly recommend this resort for anyone looking for a place to have a fun resort day.
Saratoga is the best hidden gem. If you stay in Paddock or Congress, you can easily walk to the Springs in a few mins and its the only resort in Disney you can do that with. The pools are wonderful, stay in the Paddock if you want the great kiddo pool and zero entry pool. Artists is a great place for quick food and its coal fired pizza! Everything is updated and Modern, never a bad experience there. You can also catch the boat to other resorts, play a round of golf, tons of activities, as you showed, etc. Its not packed with people either.
I love this resort. We just stayed there 2 weeks ago. 1 bedroom villa in. Congress Park across from Disney springs. Rooms just upgraded. We have stayed here several times. We stayed during the height of spring break with all of the crowds and the buses came often and we never really waited for a bus either coming from the parks or going from the parks. The private pool in Congress Park is beautiful it overlooks the Disney springs in the big blue balloon. The annual passholder discounts that you can get at resorts are often available at this resort and very affordable to stay here compared to Riviera, yacht and beach club. And they just updated the main pool which is great for the kids. And the food at the main dining area by the clubhouse check in area is really good. And we did eat at the turf club while we were here and it was amazing, Especially for the price
My family loves Saratoga Springs! It’s always our first choice when picking a resort stay. We’ve stayed there 3 times, twice in the past two years with the renovated rooms and we love them. We enjoy the quietness when we have resort off days and being right next to Disney Springs. We love taking the ferry over. One thing we did have complaints about is the food options like quick service are scarce compared to other resorts but still great food. The plus is that if we didn’t want to eat at the resort, we could easily walk or take a ferry to eat at Disney Springs. The buses were good with times but did take a while to get around the whole resort depending on which location you stay at. If you don’t want to pay for a preferred room, I would definitely request a room in the Paddock because it has a short walking distance to the main hub and has a great quiet pool with food options. Definitely recommend if you’re looking for a more relaxed staycation.
When I was in. High school I was in the band the color guard to be exact and when we came to preform in the parade at magic kingdom we also had to attend a workshop at Saratoga springs which was kinda cool
Stayed at Saratoga Springs many times and found a hiking/jogging path which parallels the golf cart road and goes over to Old Key West. There are many bird houses Disney built along the way which attract the local birds which is really cool. The path is a beautiful and peaceful walk/jog.
We are DVC owners at SSR all the way from Northern Ireland. We love it. Rooms are beautiful. It's so peaceful. We say at the Congress park section. Easy walk to Disney Springs and all it has to offer. We find the buses to be better than other resorts. We stay for 3 weeks at a time so the fact that it's so relaxing is important to us
This vlog brought back a great memory for me. In 1996 I stayed at the Treehouse Villas with my 11 year old nephew. The Disney Institute package was 3-days to take as many classes as I could squeeze in! I chose the Imagineering class, How to do Animation and my personal favorite the Claymation class all for $99! They provided my nephew with a scheduled itinerary where he could go on the “Mountain” tour, Splash, Great Thunder and Space Mountain getting in the back door and getting on the ride like a VIP. A dream come true for him. I thought you’d be interested! I’ll never forget and am very grateful for that unbelievable opportunity.
Saratoga is my DVC Home Resort, it really is very relaxing there! The rooms had a refurbishment not so long ago and it is a huge improvement over what it was before. I was staying there and was at Raglan Road the same night as you and Casey and sadly missed you. I was looking back at videos of the show and there Y'all were sitting right next to Bono!! We had such a great experience at Saratoga Springs earlier this year. It was our first stay at a DVC resort, and I felt like this one was super comfortable and inviting! We requested a room near a bus stop and the walking/waiting for a bus was minimal! Can't wait to go back!
Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort looks amazing. For the few times my family and I have been to Disney, we've always stayed at the Polynesian, so that hotel remains near and dear to my heart. I think it would be amazing to see the golf experience in Disney. I’ve never seen a vlog about golf at Disney. My daughter and I played 9 holes at Disney Oaks and it was amazing. The Disney experience with a challenging course with your POV would be interesting
First of all thank you. Saratoga is my favourite DVC resort. A couple corrections...there is a fourth pool dedicated to adults only in Congress park which overlooks the entirety of Disney Springs and possibly the best view, especially at night. The "clown shirts" in Artist Pallette are actually jockey jackets and an interval part of their uniform while racing. You missed the fact that Saratoga Springs is based on the race track in New York state.
So glad you enjoyed Saratoga Springs it’s our home resort and we love vacationing there. The Turf Club is a gem, we’ve never had a bad meal and the staff is always top notch. No problem with the buses,but we always stay at the Grandstand because it’s the first stop when you are going to the parks and the first stop coming back. 😉

Awesome tour Kyle and Casey! Saratoga is our home resort and we absolutely LOVE IT! We enjoy the food at the Turf Club and the quick serve restaurant Artist's Palette as well! Every time we stay there we have never had problems taking the bus to our dining reservations or the theme parks, just have to plan and allow yourself the time. And so convenient to Disney Springs! I’ve stayed here twice… it’s such a beautiful and relaxing resort… the rooms were updated not too long ago and are really nice! I would definitely recommend to stay in the preferred rooms which put you closer to the main pools and activities just because this resort is so massive
When I was a kid in the late 80's, early 90s we used to stay in the Fairway Villas, which is where Saratoga is now. We would rent golf carts for the week and back then you could drive your golf cart over to the Disney Marketplace. I miss those days! Lots of memories ❤
We loved Saratoga Springs! We didn't really have a problem with the buses except one day when it was late to MK. We really loved having the option to walk to Disney Springs or take the boat over. It was so beautiful and peaceful!
My home resort is Boardwalk which we all love. My daughter bought into Saratoga Springs when it opened. We go to Disney every year, stay at the Boardwalk for 7 days and Saratoga for last 3 days so we can go to Disney Springs the rest of days, we always stay in one of the Grand Villas which are magnificent, The ones we stay at have 2 floors, 1 bedroom downstairs and 2 upstairs, plus nice porch to sit out on at night. Also love the gift shop with little food court. My only complaint, TOO BIG; I even get lost walking to boat to ride over to The Springs. Boardwalk is my favorite for ALL! ❤️

It’s my home resort since 2003 , my favourite area is congress park as it’s a quick walk to DS ! The only thing that I don’t like is it’s so wide spread ! The quiet pool is near congress park ! The quick service is nice but small. There are plenty of pools in each area with the high rock spring being the central pool with entertainment The spa is good but pricey! The turf club food is nice ! Buses are every 20 mins ! Poly pool is better !
Saratoga Springs is our home resort and we fell in love with it in December of 2020 with the refurbished rooms. It's our 2nd favorite resort behind Poly and even ahead of Grand Flo and Beach Club. We love staying in the Paddock section because the pool is amazing for a secondary pool. You went there that was the one with the slide and getting cleaned due to a Duck issue :).
It’s our home resort. We’ve stayed there twice. The rooms are definitely nicer since the upgrades. It’s a hidden gem. It’s a great place to truly relax and really feel like you’re on vacation. PS Those are the silks that jockeys wear.
My sister I stayed there in March for the first time and absolutely loved it. We stayed in Grand Stand and since we didn’t have kids with us, it was perfect- quiet, walked to Disney Springs most nights, buses were really quicker than we expected, and loved the updated room- so we were pleasantly surprised, as we didn’t read the best things about it before we came. We will def stay here again!
Does Disney sell exclusive Pandora charms that you can only buy on property? My girlfriend loves her charms and we were going and I wondered if they have specialty charms that you can only buy there and not online
They double booked our Ft. Wilderness cabin and moved us to a 2 bedroom villa here! It was a huge upgrade and we really enjoyed the entire resort! We would love to stay again and maybe even become DVC members in the future. 10/10

FYI the history of this property goes even further back before Disney institute. Used to have several types of condominium style Disney villas including the original tree houses. All torn down of course.
Love Saratoga. I always stay in "The Grandstand" section. Easy walk to the Carriage House and the main pool. First on and off the buses is a major bonus!!
Hi Kyle. Saratoga Springs is our Home Resort as DVC Members. We joined in 2005, sight unseen. We LOVE it!!!! Usually stay at The Springs area (closest to Hospitality House). Can’t wait to come back “Home” in only 57 more days!!!
We live about 30 minutes from the actual Saratoga Springs in NY. It's a beautiful area, I highly recommend taking a trip there during the summer when the racetrack is open.

You missed the 4th pool at the Congress park section. It's quieter and less kids. Closest section to Disney springs. Beautiful views of Disney springs there too. You need to go back
Love Saratoga. Have stayed there a few times and will be there in about a week for a couple of nights. Now I wish I was staying longer! Haven't been to Turf Club, might have to check it out. I like staying in the Grandstand area , it's not preferred but is very close to the main building and the boat to Disney Springs. Thanks for the video!
Time to visit the real Saratoga; about 20 minutes north of Albany. The summertime is the best; lots of concerts, and of course… the big stake horse racing! 9:34
I stayed at Saratoga Springs twice with a DVC family member. I absolutely love it there and would stay there every visit. Was in the Treehouses the 2nd time. Having the room and privacy is great, but if you rely on Disney transportation, it is not the best. So far away from everything unfortunately.
Hi Kyle, You need to visit Tampa Bay Downs on Saturday May 6th. They do live horse racing at the track. They will be showing via simulcast The Kentucky Derby, the most watched spring horse race I. The world. You can bet on the track at Tampa.
We stayed there right before the big refurb happened. It was our 25th wedding anniversary trip plus two birthdays. Stayed 10 nights in a studio. Seriously hoped for a surprise upgrade under the circumstances but it was not to be😢 It was a just okay stay for us, but would give it another chance since its been refurbed.😊
Stayed many times at Saratoga Springs. The workout room is the best at all the resorts and was nice when the spa was operating. Much nicer since they did refurbishment, however we stayed in a two bedroom in December and we had issues with our showers. The master shower didn’t seal so the door stayed slightly open and would get water on the floor and you could see black mold which was disappointing since it was recently refurbished. The other tub/shower the door was not properly installed and the shower door would slide open. We had to make something so the door could close so water wouldn’t be everywhere. Very disappointing as a DVC member.

They are called silks and what the jockeys wear during the race. The design of the silk represents the stable the horse is from.

Grandstand is our home away from home. We’ve found the bussing amazing. Even with all the stops, usually efficient and on time!

I play disc golf, it's more like going on a hike and playing a game at the same time and it's free once you own some discs.

When my daughter was in high school her choir sung for adjudicators in the performance hall. Nice small auditorium.
French Quarter has an awesome arcade and I spent SO much time in those massage chairs while my son played all the games 🤣

I’ve stayed here twice… it’s such a beautiful and relaxing resort… the rooms were updated not too long ago and are really nice! I would definitely recommend to stay in the preferred rooms which put you closer to the main pools and activities just because this resort is so massive
When I was a kid in the late 80's, early 90s we used to stay in the Fairway Villas, which is where Saratoga is now. We would rent golf carts for the week and back then you could drive your golf cart over to the Disney Marketplace. I miss those days! Lots of memories ❤
We loved Saratoga Springs! We didn't really have a problem with the buses except one day when it was late to MK. We really loved having the option to walk to Disney Springs or take the boat over. It was so beautiful and peaceful!

My home resort is Boardwalk which we all love. My daughter bought into Saratoga Springs when it opened. We go to Disney every year, stay at the Boardwalk for 7 days and Saratoga for last 3 days so we can go to Disney Springs the rest of days, we always stay in one of the Grand Villas which are magnificent, The ones we stay at have 2 floors, 1 bedroom downstairs and 2 upstairs, plus nice porch to sit out on at night. Also love the gift shop with little food court. My only complaint, TOO BIG; I even get lost walking to boat to ride over to The Springs. Boardwalk is my favorite for ALL! ❤️
This is my home resort for DVC I love that Disney Springs is so close too we spend a lot of time going back and forth 🥰 The pool bars and snacks are fun ! The main pool is beautiful ❤️ Hi Casey 👋🏻
It’s my home resort since 2003 , my favourite area is congress park as it’s a quick walk to DS ! The only thing that I don’t like is it’s so wide spread ! The quiet pool is near congress park ! The quick service is nice but small. There are plenty of pools in each area with the high rock spring being the central pool with entertainment The spa is good but pricey! The turf club food is nice ! Buses are every 20 mins ! Poly pool is better !
Yes I agree about the buses but I love staying there. It's always available when all the other resorts r full. Dvc member since 09.
Saratoga Springs is our home resort and we fell in love with it in December of 2020 with the refurbished rooms. It's our 2nd favorite resort behind Poly and even ahead of Grand Flo and Beach Club. We love staying in the Paddock section because the pool is amazing for a secondary pool. You went there that was the one with the slide and getting cleaned due to a Duck issue :).

I love Saratoga Springs it’s my home DVC. It’s so relaxing. There is 4 pools.
It’s our home resort. We’ve stayed there twice. The rooms are definitely nicer since the upgrades. It’s a hidden gem. It’s a great place to truly relax and really feel like you’re on vacation. PS Those are the silks that jockeys wear.
My sister I stayed there in March for the first time and absolutely loved it. We stayed in Grand Stand and since we didn’t have kids with us, it was perfect- quiet, walked to Disney Springs most nights, buses were really quicker than we expected, and loved the updated room- so we were pleasantly surprised, as we didn’t read the best things about it before we came. We will def stay here again!
Does Disney sell exclusive Pandora charms that you can only buy on property? My girlfriend loves her charms and we were going and I wondered if they have specialty charms that you can only buy there and not online

They double booked our Ft. Wilderness cabin and moved us to a 2 bedroom villa here! It was a huge upgrade and we really enjoyed the entire resort! We would love to stay again and maybe even become DVC members in the future. 10/10

FYI the history of this property goes even further back before Disney institute. Used to have several types of condominium style Disney villas including the original tree houses. All torn down of course.

Love Saratoga. I always stay in "The Grandstand" section. Easy walk to the Carriage House and the main pool. First on and off the buses is a major bonus!!
My family has stayed there several times. It’s probably my daughter favorite resort besides AKL. She loves horses

Hi Kyle. Saratoga Springs is our Home Resort as DVC Members. We joined in 2005, sight unseen. We LOVE it!!!! Usually stay at The Springs area (closest to Hospitality House). Can’t wait to come back “Home” in only 57 more days!!!
We live about 30 minutes from the actual Saratoga Springs in NY. It's a beautiful area, I highly recommend taking a trip there during the summer when the racetrack is open.

You missed the 4th pool at the Congress park section. It's quieter and less kids. Closest section to Disney springs. Beautiful views of Disney springs there too. You need to go back

Love Saratoga. Have stayed there a few times and will be there in about a week for a couple of nights. Now I wish I was staying longer! Haven't been to Turf Club, might have to check it out. I like staying in the Grandstand area , it's not preferred but is very close to the main building and the boat to Disney Springs. Thanks for the video!

Time to visit the real Saratoga; about 20 minutes north of Albany. The summertime is the best; lots of concerts, and of course… the big stake horse racing! 9:34
I stayed at Saratoga Springs twice with a DVC family member. I absolutely love it there and would stay there every visit. Was in the Treehouses the 2nd time. Having the room and privacy is great, but if you rely on Disney transportation, it is not the best. So far away from everything unfortunately.
Hi Kyle, You need to visit Tampa Bay Downs on Saturday May 6th. They do live horse racing at the track. They will be showing via simulcast The Kentucky Derby, the most watched spring horse race I. The world. You can bet on the track at Tampa.
We stayed there right before the big refurb happened. It was our 25th wedding anniversary trip plus two birthdays. Stayed 10 nights in a studio. Seriously hoped for a surprise upgrade under the circumstances but it was not to be😢 It was a just okay stay for us, but would give it another chance since its been refurbed.😊
Yeah the rooms are totally transformed and some of the nicest on property.
Stayed many times at Saratoga Springs. The workout room is the best at all the resorts and was nice when the spa was operating. Much nicer since they did refurbishment, however we stayed in a two bedroom in December and we had issues with our showers. The master shower didn’t seal so the door stayed slightly open and would get water on the floor and you could see black mold which was disappointing since it was recently refurbished. The other tub/shower the door was not properly installed and the shower door would slide open. We had to make something so the door could close so water wouldn’t be everywhere. Very disappointing as a DVC member.
