We were in the same building in February this year. Disney surprised us and upgraded us from a 1 bedroom to a 2 bedroom which almost never happens for DVC members. We were so thankful and appreciative.
With all of your staycations, you inspire me to spend more time exploring the resorts. Nothing wrong with not going into the parks.
I use to work here and you are correct does connect to a studio. Also you can always ask for more soap etc. I loved working as a housekeeper at this resort. I was in the 60s. And I miss it everyday the staff all help each other out it was a great experience.
Little tip if you want to walk to Disney Spring but you are at the far end of Saratoga… park in Congress Park and take the path to Springs!
I love the Saratoga resort. I am from upstate NY Saratoga Spring area and they did amazing job making it look like Saratoga. Enjoy your stay.

My favorite DVC room is the Old Key West 1 bedroom it is the biggest I love the layout so much room Hope you do a video there soon Will be at Disney this coming Friday &Saturday I can’t wait to go to the pool at our hotel and go to Disney Springs and Saturday have reservations at Wilderness Lodge for dinner for Story Book Dining at Artist Point

It’s beautiful! The only thing that seems to be missing is a large shower on the master. Most one bedroom villas offer two showers.

16:12 You see those white things on the shelf? They’re called ice cube trays. You fill those with water, put them back in the freezer, and by the next morning, you’ll have ice! To get them out, you just twist them a bit. Really Simple! 😉 🤦♀️ 😂 You’re welcome from Gen X!

If you enjoy the fire cheese presentation, you should go to Big Fire in Universal City Walk. I recommend the smoked old fashioned. The drink is great as is the presentation
We cancelled Saratoga and staying in Boardwalk, Thought I would get to see you and Casey. At Hollywood studios today. Great time! Yesterday at Disney Springs got to have my yearly hot fudge mint chip sundae at Ghiardeli, one scoop ,12$. When did that happen? Ate at Prime Time today, 5 of us 234.00 less our DVC discount, Not bad we all had the POT ROAST. Can’t beat it! Tomorrow I think is MAJIC Kingdom. Nothing like a Disney Vacation!

I am actually a huge Saratoga Springs fan! We stayed in a refurbished 2 bedroom and it was gorgeous! Unpopular opinion but I like shopping and dining at Disney Springs and works for us.
Looks nice! Are there enough blankets and pillows for the Murphy bed and the smaller twin?
We stayed at SSR last year for Memorial Day weekend - loved it!
Back in 1998, my parents took my cousin and me to WDW...we stayed at the townhouses that were there before Saratoga Springs was built. Disney Springs was also called Downtown Disney back then. We could see Downtown Disney from our townhouse. 7 Days until I'm at Bay Lake Tower! 😀
Kyle: I sent you an email. You should consider staying at the newly renovated Hilton Resort at Disney Springs, Lake Buena Vista. Rooms start at $109-$340. Many include full kitchens. You really shoo-ins consider doing a blog about best places; just off Disney property to stay. Disney lowest is like $150-$200 all requiring 2 night stays.

I had a room with a fountain view back in February and it’s definitely the most quiet resort I’ve stayed in on property. Very big but if you don’t like a lot of kids it’s nice
Actually there is a club level at DVC - but only at Animal Kingdom Lodge Jambo House.

The only DVC where you can use points for club level is Animal Kingdom Lodge at the Kilimanjaro Club
Those mac& cheese balls are excellent and I have also had the fried cheese paired with a wine selection and it was phenomenal!!!!!! ❤❤❤❤

I have stayed at this resort multiple times but never in a one bedroom. The one bedroom looks fabulous! If you go back and get preferred ask for Congress Parkway. The walk to DS makes this resort absolutely wonderful.

Loved the Saratoga springs resort staycation. Had a warm quiet homey feel.
I love the sweatshirt!! Is it unisex sizing? I tried looking online, but couldn’t find it. Must only be sold at the parks and area stores.
I agree with Casey about the room. It was nice, but it didn't have character like Wilderness Lodge. Still nice, though. The food...looked AMAZING!

It’s my dvc home resort since 2005. Shhhh best kept secret. I use it as all quiet after the busy day at the park.I’ve stayed at almost every resort on property, this is my favorite. Be there the end of the month. Ask for paddock building 5. People ask me my favorite ride, I always say the park bench beginning of the bridge to paddock. Lol
Omg! That was our room! But it was 2018 and it looks WAY BETTER now. There actually were shutters over the tub, so you could see out into the master bedroom. Bummer they changed that. I’ll never forget that view from the patio~ absolutely LOVED that fountain and view of the tree houses. Our friends got us the villa and we paid $350/week as they used RCI points. Not sure if RCI is allowed anymore by Disney. Sadly, my 12- yr old was laid up a day from the excessive heat. So Scary! I learned to have groceries delivered by Walmart that year and it was so helpful. Kyle, keep reminding people to use Liquid IV or SOMETHING because it’s no joke, especially coming from dry N Cali. I think it was us going hard at the water parks as well as the theme parks. We do Disney soooo differently now. Thanks for the beautiful Staycation Sunday!!

As a 20+ year DVC member the refurbishment of SSR was desperately needed.
Change is hard.
The 1bedroom refurb is gorgeous! Very similar to Riviera for sure. There used to be a opening from the jacuzzi tub to the master bedroom. It was one of our selling points back in the day. I also love the fact that there are smaller and quieter pools around the resort.
The Grandstand is my favorite section of the resort as it is the first stop in/out from the parks.
Not a first floor fan.
We own at Boulder Ridge, Beach Club(needs a refurb!!!!), BLT also in need of a refurb and two contracts at SSR.
You were very close to the boats and could have taken that to DS. Maybe next time.
Please let people know the expense of the room here. It is not a value at all. LOL
Oh, I agree 100% it feels like a brand-new resort with the full-on refurbishment. The jacuzzi tubs weren't maintained enough to keep them in place, and yes, for the cost, not only in cash but points, wise bay lake towers is in need of a massive overhaul ASAP.
i like the saratoga springs :) kind of reminds me of when i stayed at disney a long time ago lol 90's yeah.. i'm old but my family and i did stay in a condo so maybe it was like this place i cant member i was like 7 lol but yeah super cool place, and wow i wonder if anybody ever got a golf ball to a window or something that would be not safe?? and lol free golf ball :P *snatches* lol
What a beautiful spot - I could see myself escaping the park crowds by going to Saratoga. I got to stay here once back when Downtown Disney Pleasure Island was a thing. I'm not a golfer but I'm all for driving the cart 😅

Kyle. There is one club level dvc place. Animal Kingdom DVC. Kilimanjaro Club at Jambo. Very hard to snag a room there!

Did you rent dvc points to save $$$? I recently rented points for our May vacay at OKW and it saved us between 60-65% over disney👍

The room looks fantastic but I wish you just say how much it cost again a nice leisurely day enjoying Disney springs. The hotel I stay in is right across the street. You’re always doing the Disney hotels. What about the ones in the Disney Springs area show people what their rooms are like just an idea thank you. Good job Casey and Kyle.

I stayed there before the renovation and it looks soooo much nicer now. So outdated and the worst pull-out couch. I think the murphy beds makes all the difference.
Saganaki is delish at Greek Fest at State Fair Park. My fave thing to get. Yum!
I love Saratoga Springs! It’s my home resort. Plenty of activities and walking distance to Disney Springs. Having the golf course is a added plus. As a family of 5, we always stay in a 1 bedroom. Great video Kyle
Happy Staycation Sunday! The resort is beautiful (and yes, 'Mary Poppin' got a chuckle). Good to see you haven't given up on golf; Florida being scorching as it's been, I can see why you wouldn't right now, but it'd be cool to see you do a full course instead of only the driving range. The villa is nice; I'm kind of surprised the master bedroom doesn't have its own, larger shower. One minor point of convention - you said you had to show us the view in the master bedroom.. and then didn't show us! I feel robbed! 😅 Casey's outfit is fantastic, and yes - that is how saganaki is pronounced. A cupcake ATM? Wonders never cease!
