Stop apologizing for your camera work. You are doing great and I enjoy watching your video's. Very entertaining. Hard work indeed. I appreciate your efforts.
You are doing a great job. Be proud of the dedication that you show for the cleanliness of this planet. If every able body was to do its bit this world would be a pleasant place for humanity and all other creatures.
That was a great adventure! Following half a railroad tie downriver. I am relieved you turned around there at the end. And I have to say when you found that 6x6 lumber my brain made the cash register noise! 😂 I still haven't recovered from our last price gouge session, apparently. 😅 Hope you have a great week and I'm looking forward to the next culvert downstream.
Very enjoyable indeed! Didn’t want it to end. It’s always a pleasure watching you unclog a water stream. And the scenery, just beautiful!! The trees couldn’t be any greener. Waiting for the next instalment. ❤
Hi, I look forward to seeing your vids, I miss that part of the world, use to go up there to visit family and friends. Been over 35 yrs since i been back there. Your doing a great job and can't wait till the next vid. Stay safe.
I have already run the scenario through my head several times and I am prepared to unbuckle and peel them off in a moment's notice. Also carrying a small knife in the inner chest pouch should I need to cut them off.
@@Grab_your_Waders Can you swim/had swimming lessons? We live in a Country that has so much water, that the moment you get into kindergarten you get school swimming lessons and have to get at least a certain amount of swimming degrees. Later it is up to you if you want to get your rescue degree and get even further. I am a typical water person and I got most basic degrees plus rescue but because I have done so many watersports, I guess I can get pretty far with those that have experience in extreme water swimming lesson degrees. (Supposedly there are 56! 😮 different degrees one can get... (in our Country, don't know if that is a global standard) Never knew that!
@@mademoisellekaya1438 Wow! 56? Here, there are no requirements to learn to swim or any associated degrees. One can get training to be a life guard at a public beach or pool but other than that there is nothing that I'm aware of and yes I can swim very well.
26:19 , when you walked down the waterline on those big bolders, my eye caught all the trees on the right side. A lot had gnawing marks. Is that place that was so full of 🦫 or are there not so many beavers anymore? Lol! Got my answer right here; 29:48 😂 I just should have watched patiently further because that was not even 4 minutes down the video 😂 Great work! And yeah, those waders are a sweaty mess, but in the end, it is as if you are working in complete air-and moisture tight/blocked breathing clothing 😮 Keep drinking anyways, respect for what you do and watch yourself out there 👍😎
I just came across your channel and must say I enjoyed your walk down the river very much! It was very satisfying to watch the debris get cleared. I just have to wonder if there is another blockage then all that floats down will make an even bigger mess? No need to apologize for your camera work, safety first! I was afraid your camera was going to float away on you every time it fell over. I was telling you to turn around and look 😂 Great job, looking forward to the next.
For my perspective you have an unique way of cutting the branches. Is easier? What was the screeching in the background. Enjoying your dedication to this project
I typically just cut the branch opposite of where it will buckle when cut to avoid the saw binding. On a few I cut the opposite side till I feel it start to bind and then I'll switch to the other side and finish the cut. Nothing special just whatever seems to work in the moment. The screeching sounds like a Gray Catbird calling.
Love your videos! Not to tell you what to do BUT I am going to suggest something....I think you should cut/break ALL the branches that are or will be touching the water because they are or will be causing a blockage. Keep up the great work you do! And Thank You for picking up all the trash you come across on OUR adventures!😊❤❤
Cannot wait to see the next installment. You really do a great job. My only complaint…where are your gloves. Man you are putting yourself out there for infection etc. You may not realize it now, but water carries lots of dirt, and other hazards
When you had the tripod standing in the water with that great view, if you exchanged the vehicle sounds with some angry hippo sounds, you could easily imagine the African Queen chugging around the bend. 🙂 Was the water this cloudy last fall?
those huge trees they you sent on their way....won't thy just clog things up further down? shouldn't you have taken them out,if at all possible? And as i watch the video further in, yep, exactly what happened.
Yeah, it dawned on me after the fact that the tide had already started to return as I was making my way downstream. I checked the tide Schuele when I got home and it was up 2' from when I first when down. We've had alot of rain, I need to give things time to drain down a bit.
Why don't you throw the debris up on the banks? When you loosen the debris, and let it float downstream you're just making another log jam downstream. At just a bit after 39 minutes on the video you let a log and vegitation that you just cut go downstream to clog up again. You method makes no sense.
People need to remember Mother Nature needs help sometimes. You do great work and that's what's important!
Nice to see the follow up downstream and removing some of the obstruction. 👏🏻

You are the hardest working and longest working Beaver Dam clearer than I have ever seen. Thank you for sharing it with us.
Wow, thank you!
Fun video to watch. You are a perfectionist when it comes to cleaning these areas! Great work!!
Thanks so much! 😊

OFTEN WONDER WHAT HAPPENS DOWNSTREAM WHEN BIG THINGS FLOAT AWAY, SO GLAD TO SEE YOUR ATTENTION TO DETAIL
Great job buddy. Tough navigating in the deep water, especially with soft River bottom. Excellent job sir.
Glad you enjoyed it
Great video. I like how the water helped you out as soon as you loosened some tangles. Thanks for posting.
Thanks for watching!
“Look! It’s a tire. So unexpected.” The deadpan humor is actually hilarious 😂
Those big branches were like logs! Quite a workout! Great job! Stay safe and stay healthy!
I agree 100th per cent, you are good 👍 😉 👌 😀 👏 😊. Keep up the good work. Good luck with your channel, I like your videos.
That was a day well spent. I have that same little hand saw and love it- best $15 I ever spent. It’s sharp, cuts well, and handles the abuse
Very sharp and cutting in both directions makes it that much better.
Thanks for the stroll down river. That’s a handy hand saw you have.
We don’t have many blockages like you clear hear in Australia. Take care👍🏻
Glad you enjoyed it
HopinYes, I really enjoyed watching you, hoping you 😊😊don't fall,
Thank you! 😊

Really, really enjoyed this one. Thank you so much for all your hard work.

Welcome aboard, the Hudson River culvert is just downstream from where this video ends.
Cool video. Stay safe out there.
Thanks, will do!
Cuz, You break the saw out and Bam 💥. Stuff gets done ✔️. Thanks.
You did real good on this one too,..
It's nice thank you
I'm glad you like it
Thank you for an amazing video. You are the best❤
Great job and a great video 👍🏻👍🏻
Another great video and a job well done ty for the time and effort you do to bring us content
I appreciate that!
Watching over again.😊

Love watching your videos while having my coffee in the morning. You might want to look into getting a filter for your camera lens. Great job 🙂
Thanks for the tip!

I agree but it was warm that day and I have limited time before the tide returns and makes it too deep to walk through in most areas downstream.
Cannot wait to see the next installment. You really do a great job. My only complaint…where are your gloves. Man you are putting yourself out there for infection etc. You may not realize it now, but water carries lots of dirt, and other hazards
I have a good pair but I'm stubborn.
Can you use the tires to create a flotilla?😊
When you had the tripod standing in the water with that great view, if you exchanged the vehicle sounds with some angry hippo sounds, you could easily imagine the African Queen chugging around the bend. 🙂 Was the water this cloudy last fall?
lol that would be funny as an edit. I don't believe it was bad last year,. We have had record rainfall this July, close to 8"
No need to apologize for the camera work! We can see how difficult the terrain is, and how hard you are working!
You gotta get closer to the branch to pull it out
Very enjoyable video's. Not sure how you get some of these stubborn ones unclogged, but nice job😮😮😅😅😅.
Thank you very much!
I keep hearing a rattle snake 1 of the rattles is at 39.00
No Rattlesnakes range into my area, I believe what you're hearing are Cicadas.
those huge trees they you sent on their way....won't thy just clog things up further down? shouldn't you have taken them out,if at all possible? And as i watch the video further in, yep, exactly what happened.
Was this stream off the Hudson or the Mohawk?
Hudson
Yeah, it might be better if you wait until its lower tide, i bet there are more logs underwater that is too big for your saw.
Yeah, it dawned on me after the fact that the tide had already started to return as I was making my way downstream. I checked the tide Schuele when I got home and it was up 2' from when I first when down. We've had alot of rain, I need to give things time to drain down a bit.
👍👍👍
Im worn out watching you.Great clear up.Enjoyed every minute
What is the brand of your hand saw?
Corona Tools 10-Inch RazorTOOTH Folding Saw
No snapping turtles overthere?
There are common snappers, but I didn't see any that day,
Oopps😊
I would be scared I would come up on a water moccasin swimming in the creek
Report the firewood finds.
Who pissed off the squirrel. I keep hearing aq squirrel making noise.
In the beginning? I thought that was a Gray Catbird.
You did a good job, but that area was hazardous. Those trees were all ready to come down. I wouldn't risk my life for this colvert.
If that's a chain saw job be careful. Don't need to see anything happen to you!
Take care, if you fall in chest waders, you may not be able to get up again
Ty but that's more of a myth. I do carry a knife however to cut the straps if needed.
Floating logs in the water can kill or drown you so be careful😢
Why do you do all this ? marym from pakistan
I do it as a service to the community and to reduce the risk of flooding as my town is is not very far above sea level.
This is a very proud initiative that you do for your community. keep it up👍
When will you guys invest in a small chainsaw?
Why don't you throw the debris up on the banks? When you loosen the debris, and let it float downstream you're just making another log jam downstream. It does make sense knowing that I was going downstream right after clearing this.
