I must say your hair is the definition of healthy. I have seen persons with long hair but not like yours it's usually fine with stringy ends. Your hair is full and thick from roots to ends and looks healthy throughout. Talk about a full head of hair. Absolutely beautiful !
First, your hair is gorgeous. I just did this routine today, I workout often and my stylist told me to do a co-wash at least once a week. I used the Aussie miracle moist conditioner and then I used the three minute miracle moist deep conditioner. You were not kidding about the slip and the softness. WOW, I am shocked. Definitely a new fave. I didn't have the As I am moisturizer, but I used GIN Green tea super moist leave in. Wow, my hair is so soft. After two hours my hair wasn't dry so I did pull out the blow dryer for about 5 minutes. Thank you thank you for sharing your regime.
I’ve been natural a whole 5 years and I still watched this video in its entirety. Y’all that scarf and smoothing method was everything to me when I was stretching my relaxers prior to transitioning to natural.
I would love to co-wash and air dry but my hair always comes out poofy and rough feeling. My hair is texlaxed and I think maybe it's just not straight enough to air dry smoothly. Seeing the beauty and health of your hair inspires me to keep on trying products or tweaking my hair routine- whatever it takes until I get the results I want. Thanks for sharing!
Absolutely gorgeous hair with the healthiest, thickest ends I’ve seen on anyone! I’ve got to try co-washing because my hair lacks moisture a few days after my weekly shampoo and deep conditioning sessions. I’ve also got to get my hands on that HS wide tooth comb. Thanks for sharing this helpful video.
N. A. Same here, my hair is nice on wash day but I struggle to keep moisture in it after day 2/3. Bagging my ends helped and using Tresemme moisture rich conditioner as my daily leave in xx
Thank you very much!! Cowashing truly helps to increase my moisture levels. My wide tooth comb has been a lifesaver!!! I don’t know why I have just one, I need to buy more incase I lose it🤣😩
I love your simple techniques. As someone who knows how to do very little with her hair you make me feel like it is very easy to maintain and manage my hair. Thank you
I am relaxed and have been neglecting my hair the last year or so-not deep conditioning, barely combing, not moisturizing, etc. I saw my Easter pictures from last year and realized I’ve lost a couple inches. Saw these videos and decided to go for it! I’m one week in and OH MY gosh!!!! I’m using Aussie moist and the so much moisture for my cowash. I’m shocked at how good it looks and it feels even better!! I can’t seem to do the “scarf method” without leaving kinks and bumps in the front so I decided to leave the scarf off and smooth the front and ends throughout the drying. Came out perfectly! I’m about 7 weeks post and I’m really exciting about ditching the blow dryer and getting my length on!!
I like to co-wash when stretching my relaxers. I like to use more botanical based conditioner's like Mill Creek Biotin conditioner it has peppermint oil in it which I love 🥰 it's a little more expensive but makes my hair so healthy! Your hair is gorgeous 💜
I subscribe to your channel just because you seem real everything you recommend I can see you use them it’s not like you sitting behind and just talking and telling you know how it works but you show how it works thanks for sharing and I just relaxed my hair and my daughters hair because our hair is so heavy and thick that I couldn’t manage it in its natural form anymore and she wasn’t liking the wash days, tangling was so hard and we keep losing hair so now that is relax it’s more managing and I can see the length, growth less tangled thanks a lot
Your channel makes me want to relax my hair 😭😭😭. When I had a relaxer I was in school. My mother was doing my hair and was thin and always was the same lenght. I thought that was just my hair until I went natural and researched how to grow my hair. Since then I've grown out my hair and over the last 6 years I've cut it all off every 2 years because it gets to a lenght I no longer want to deal with when it comes to styling, washing etc. And the thing is I do like washing and styling my hair it's just the time it takes to do it then the results doesn't stay for the time I want it to.. I do want to grow out my hair so I'm happy to have this channel to learn that YES I can have healthy growing hair while relaxed ❤️ I'll probably have to get some of your products before I make the jump just so it's not a in the moment thing and ik I can deal with After. I never even knew people with relaxed hair moisturized and seal, oil their scalp, stretch relaxer, do protective styles for a reason and not just for the look smh. I learned that with my natural hair so we need more relaxed hair channels to educate us ❤️❤️❤️
Aussie Miracle and Hello Hydration both have silicones: maybe that will help me by adding a smoothing effect to my hair (which is naturally 4c) at 17 weeks post. Right now all my products are sulfate & silicone-free, but I could use silicones for now if they will help smooth out my hair. I don't use any direct heat on my hair so that adds to the challenge. I'd welcome your advice on how to wear some straighter styles while I'm waiting for salons to open again. Thanks!
In the past I have also avoided buying products with silicones and sulfates but I think I’m going to stop that. That is really a curly girl method and I am relaxed so I don’t need to worry about keeping my curls. Silicones help detangle my hair and gives it smoothness and slip. So that works better for me. Also sulfate shampoos help remove silicone and other product build up so I will make sure I keep at least one sulfate shampoo in my regimen. I’m going to cowash my hair today using Aussie Moist and the Hairlicious method. Hope my hair likes it. Her hair is amazing! 💆🏾♀️💁🏾♀️
I was on that sulfates and silicones restriction diet, and I now realize the importance of both. Now I do sulfate once ever 6 weeks and silicones every wash day. Silicones are not bad. They lock in moisture. I can still add moisturizing products on top of my silicone-treated hair, and hair still gets moisturized. It's also in the primary science literature that silicones are occlusives (substances that lock in moisture). Since I've been back on silicones, my hair looks way better, softer and more manageable.
I can’t wait to try this co-wash! I am one week post relaxer, was experiencing a lot of shedding decided to wash yesterday. Best decision ever, followed your regime with a few tweaks. I can’t thank you enough for the recommending the scarf air drying method. I have super thick hair and my hairline is “Laid”.
Hey sunshyne could you do a video about crown breakage and of any tips that you can reverse the alopecia process. I have been putting my hair in a low ponytail a lot and I'm assuming that is the main reason why I have this problem. Thank you in advance😊
I find co washing leaves my hair so much more moisturised and manageable as opposed to when I wash it with shampoo, so I may limit my shampoo sessions to once a month or so. Currently dealing with over and under processed relaxed hair, so loads of breakage.
I L💜VE Co Washing! It has really changed the texture of my hair my hair is softer it holds moisture not too much moisture but in balance it out I co wash once a week using the Aussie 3 Minute Miracle moist I've been using this conditioner for 20 years I believe :-). I use a leave-in conditioner and I also use my leave ends as a moisturizer :-) you know people laughed at me when they asked me what was my regiment and I told them that I co-wash they laughed at me and told me my hair was going to fall out and this and that :-) they just don't know your hair is very beautiful thank you ever so kindly for doing this video God bless you👌💕🙏
Awww Sapphire! Thank you so much! Yes, you can use your leave-in as a moisturizer and a moisturizer as a leave-in. I love cowashing. It’s been such a help throughout my hair journey. Some may not understand why I would use a silicone based conditioner but it works for me and doesn’t build up on my hair. I loveee Aussie 3 Minute Miracle too🙌🏾💕 I always stock up on these goodies.
In the past when i was relaxed i tried cowash but my hair just clumped together..getting my virgin relaxer on 9/3 starting rlx journey for my wedding next year🤞🏿...i have about 4" of natural hair
I thought I was going to wait for my hair to get longer but I decided to relax it immediately at almost 5 inches & just keep it in cornrows. Well to my pleasant surprise, my hair has grown faster retaining length because I'm not detangle anymore. There's no harsh manipulation with straight hair ✨
Omg your hair is so pretty and thick. I’m not relaxed but I’m gonna try co-washing. I’ve known about it for years but never really added it into my regimen
@@HairliciousInc I just bought Olaplex No. 3 and I am about to do a relaxer soon. Will that video be coming out within the next week by any chance? I'm curious as to when is best to use the Olaplex, before or after relaxing.
Just subscribed to your channel. Have been natural for 2 years and ready to relax it. You're the best. Only watched your first video and I'm confident I can go back to a relaxer. Thanks
I tried natural hair for almost a year. Bought all kinds of products and spent so much than when I was relaxed🤦🏾♀️ and its just not working for me. I’m going back to relaxing. I have a thin and soft hair. I followed your channel to see how it goes again. I love your hair

Oh no! It does take some trial and error. I heard the TGIN Green tea super moist leave-in conditioner is really good - if you’re on the hunt for something.
I remember you were like my first follow yearrsssss ago on UA-cam. Hairlista was like my hair bible! Awwwh.. so many memories. I recently returned and I’m like wow! Her hair is still beautiful! I’m natural now but still enjoy watching your vids!
First time trying a co-wash 😚. I’ll be using the Aussie Moist as well. I’ll give it a month of weekly co-washing to see how it fares. I hope it helps with my sweaty head dry hair from working out on the daily. I love your hair! I can’t do my hair twice a week. Is it okay to alternate shampooing and cowashing weekly? I don’t want to skip deep conditioning weekly though. What do you recommend?
I want to start co-washing but I can't seem to find this particular aussie product in England. What we have is aussie miracle moist conditioner with Australian macadamia nut oil. Do you have any idea if this would be as good as the one with avocado and jojoba oil? Also, do you still use creme of nature moisture extreme conditioner before co-washing? Thank you.
