I’m Fern! A 20-something gal living on beautiful Vancouver Island, Canada with my partner, our 2 dogs, and around 200 houseplants. Plants have changed my life - I love tending to them and sharing the joys and discoveries of my planty journey online. I am passionate about all things living and I have been vegan for over 5 years - it was the best decision I’ve ever made. For those into astrology, I am a gemini sun, scorpio moon, & libra rising. A liquor store in my town has an amazing plant collection (weird I know). They have a pothos with giant leaves!!!

I rescued a golden pothos from home depot that was in really rough shape, after months of rehab and care fresh soil and lots of attention it had two huge leave. I decided to propagate them and I am so in love with how big they are. Love Greta, she is so lovely

I feel like painted ladies are something you have to see in person to fall in love w because I definitely didn’t get the hype until I had one either and now I’m obsessed w her. I call her my budget strawberry shake lol

My variegated maranta has a bunch of sectoral pieces and every once in a while puts out a FULL WHITE leaf, with the colors splotches in the middle. Those don't last, but they're so cool. I have her under a cheap grow light and 100% attribute her color to that light. Your plants are gorgeous!

That marble queen is amazing! Mine has never been in the best light, so it's more deep green with lime green variegation, but I love the look honestly. Like having one of those fancy mojito variegated plants.

16:03 MG fertilizer is probably why those leaves are so huge. I was using it on my pothos when I first got it and the leaves on it literally doubled in size within 4 weeks. It's like crack for plants lol

my alocasias are loving my ikea greenhouse cabinet! my frydek and black velvet put out huge leaves! ...and my stingray has put out 4 new leaves in the last couple months
Marble Queen pothos leaves have some of the best variegation of any plant

I love those foliage , they are so gorgeous . Your right, I know white leaves so so pretty but doesn't help with the growth of the plants I have the same problem with my Philodendron Burle Marx variegated, it's putting out yellow leaves it it dies easily ad doesn't help with the plant 😔
Aboute calathea wersawiczi , place it under humidifier very close, it will love it and put up faster and bigger leafs 🍃
