    I wouldn't take off that damaged leaf on the AOS dark yet. It is ugly, yes, but it is still fully functional and the plant will grow faster the more leaves it has available to photosynthesize. If it doesn't senesce on its own, then take it off after the next new leaf (so that it has two). My personal preference is to have a minimum of 4 leaves on a plant (although I admittedly have one that refuses to hold more than two leaves).

      I guess my personal preference is form over function. I don’t mind if the plants grow slower but that’s a totally valid point!

      I _completely_ agree with everything you've said. Most times we really _need_ to set our plants down, walk away & just leave them tf alone. Allow them time to grow up, in peace. Stop picking & shifting them to be our versions of "perfect". 😂❤❤

      Thats a great mindset for sure! I feel like such a helicopter parent with my plants but they just need their space 😂🫶

      @@Digitalhunny To each their own! Experimenting and trying new things is a good way to discover what works best, so I would encourage that too.

    The Dorito name is taken for the port with that name. But I love how you talk about the plants. I need to improve my shelves - your lights look so organized.

    That carla in the last part of the video looks like a crystallinum

    • @fluffy_mcsparkle
      @fluffy_mcsparkle Місяць тому

      people always say that on the internet but IRL they are very different. I don't think carlas are worth the insane prices, but they are very cool and different from crystal.

      @@fluffy_mcsparkle exactly i think the hype is driving the price high. Carlablackiae is a beautiful species but if you are going to drop an insane amount of money make sure you are getting nice traits.

    Is BVEP currently sought after and the price rising ?

      I would say it’s definitely sought after, but prices are definitely coming down slowly from my experience!

    You have too much water anthurium hate that much waster. Please drain the water. That is why she is yellow around.

      Honestly you're totally right! I think the reservoir was contributing to the root rot. I've been moving them over to tree fern soil and I'm not including a reservoir anymore! 😊🫶

      Okay😊 happy to hear this, honestly, I think that your lecca and the pond is perfect, what was not good is the amount of water that you have in the bottom, so what I suggest is that water it just make sure that your water is 1 mm and when you see a dry, add it again but I think that lecca and pond is perfect perfect. Yesterday I saw your video and make me wanna try that way.😊
