I was at this gig and the moment when they came out on stage will stay with me forever - when Dave walked out, there was a 'stillness' that seemed to go over the whole audience and last forever, before the whole building just erupted in cheers.
it was amazing all i can say, the jam at the end of the set blew my mind... and jpj piano solo was so moving and dark... all of these guys were amazing i wanted more so bad
great recording. homme writes music like no other. lyrics wise he's very unique. say whatcha will. i love their album too. glad something like this popped out during these times in music.
These were amazing!!! Arctic's were epic! so glad i went! Cause i can now say i was within 8 yards of all of arctic monkeys, John paul Jones, Josh Homme, and Dave grohl :D bets night of my life!
JPJ for life! Most influential bassist of all time IMO. Dave and Josh are legends but I bet they are so fucking stoked on the inside to play with John.
Thanks - great video - I was at the bar at this point, so all I heard were the mental cheers, but that was all I needed to know that TCV were indeed playing!
I think this song is very proggy! The 'surely washed away' and 'no i can never stay melancholy' section is so melodic and mystic tinged; and I know my prog rock!
Best Performed "Elephants" by them. This video quality isn't great, but you can feel the energy and just feel the passion in this performance. = ) Fucken Awwweessommme! Legends!
Alain Johannes seems a bit left out but honestly this is the best reconfiguration of excellent proper rock musos we have had ever. They are new fresh and very moving.
I was really into the first 3 qotsa albums especially the one with no one knows and go with the flow on it, Dave was always insane on the drums when they callabo'd, but was disappointed with the two follow up albums, never really got into the EODM, this is a great return to form for josh, and to add JPJ just makes it all the better, cant wait for more from these guys
Yes. go to all music festivals in your area. they're playing festivals un-announced. also, watch them on Twitter and i think the Google Earth map they keep linking to is where they're playing next
Arghhh i missed them!! i heard the rumours on the thursday at leeds but no1 knew wen n wer, only those hu just so happened to be passing the tent at the time seemed to of seen it wen they played on friday mornin i think it was... devastated!!! thats 2 years now ive missed out on seeing Josh Homme :'( i will see him eventually even if it kills me lolz
In the shot throughout it's John Paul Jones on the left, Josh Homme on the right and Dave Grohl in the middle. The guy to the far right left out of most of the shot is Alain Johannes, touring guitarist. I can't believe people can't recognise John Paul Jones and are giving abuse over it!
@12345l6789 I'm pleased to say that they did, was like a buzz on the forums trying to work out where they would play their uk gig getting tortured as the x on the map moved around europe, the fact they played under the name le petit pois in france and only a code in the states, i honestly never thought i'd find out in time to make it but if josh hadn't produced the arctics album and EODM said they'd support the arctics tour yet scheduled to play in ireland that night i never would of gone. EPIC!
I would piss myself if I was there. I will piss myself when I see them. I am so stoked about this band. It is the best thing to happen to rock and roll in a fucking long time and Josh Homme is the fookin maan.
Saw em thursday in Detroit!!! One of the best shows I have ever seen. The only show I would trade for it would be QOTSA right after Rated R came out/ OR KYUSS haha
i luv that rif so much, perfekt hooks, great vocal patterns, how could you go wrong, i hope the marketing flash animations depicting the vultures in suits like mobsters or political fatcats continues, its a neat idea and serves the name well. GOD, i LUV THIS!!
I was at this gig and the moment when they came out on stage will stay with me forever - when Dave walked out, there was a 'stillness' that seemed to go over the whole audience and last forever, before the whole building just erupted in cheers.

This is legendary. Kids of this day and age! Take hold of and cherish your gift from these true talents! This is your mark in time!

Josh Homme IS loaded man, dont bother doubting it.
Dave's drumming is really badass! Guy does have intensity that is far superior to his peers.
guy on keyboard was dean fertia of QOTSA who was playing guitar for TDW. Guy on Bass was from ranceutors
Filmed on the greatest phone ever.

The moment Grohl walked on stage... that was special!!
Edinburgh Corn Exchange last night - FUCKING AWESOME!!!!
shooting it in black in white really added to it
In the shot throughout it's John Paul Jones on the left, Josh Homme on the right and Dave Grohl in the middle. The guy to the far right left out of most of the shot is Alain Johannes, touring guitarist. I can't believe people can't recognise John Paul Jones and are giving abuse over it!
