The sad irony of sound issues on the 'production gets to play' episode. If only they had pretended that CGB had swapped places so we could blame it on him. /jk But even 'bad' audio by the channel's standards is still solid. Still a great show and game.
I built an Ezio commander deck... it's legendary assassin's and legendary spells. It'a fire! I played it 3 times with my friends. Won all three games... once with the Ramses combo and twice with Ezio's ability. It became my new favourite deck! 👍😁👍
33:34 The champion has that ability that makes equipping him cheaper. He could have got all the equipment and dealt serious damage between the Jitte, the reaver cleaver, the scull clamp and the spear.
This was really refreshing! Great banter, great games, audio quality was totally fine to me! Well done, gents, well done! If we can get #TeamProduction more often in the future, I'm all for it!
Fun fact about Olivia Opulent Outlaw is that it isn't alliteration. Since it's a vowel sound it's called assonance. The more you know. Also sweet games love love to the boys.
Or Stokes and CGB vs Shea and CGG? Flood the board with hordes of cats. (Also I think it would be hilarious if Stokes craterhoof's Shea before Blake does.)
I really wanted Blake to win as a fan of him. Ben winning 👏 🙌 👌 💪 😎 👍 👏 was pretty cool. Stokes and Brandt were 2 cool cookies 🍪 😎 😋 👌 😍 😀 🍪. Much appreciation for the 2 new guys.
great episode. In case anyone is building Altair you should know that when you use token doubles, the tokens created off of anointed procession for example do not have tube sacrificed at end of turn because they were created by anointed procession and not Altair and thus do not care the sack clause on them. So have fun doubling your tokens and then keeping one copy!
@@LePsycho2007 Anointed Procession says that you create twice that many tokens _instead_ of the original amount. This is a replacement effect. That means that the source of the tokens is still the original ability (but modified), and thus all its conditions apply. Only the number of tokens has changed - everything else stays the same. On the other hand, if it was a trigger creating additional tokens ("whenever you create X, also create Y"), the source of those new tokens would be the trigger and it wouldn't have the original ability's riders attached.
I wish you released a version of these videos where instead of listening to the players, we would listen to commentary on what’s going on because it’s easy to lose track for someone who is interested but only ever played standard in the last few years.
Hi! I am curious about getting into commander, and I was wondering if anyone could recomend the best way for a complete mtg noob to aquire a cheap preconstructed deck to try it out without getting scammed. Thanks so much in advance!
Alternatively you could always just print some cards on paper to get a feel for it without having to shell out anything, I often do this to try out a card in my deck before I commit to buying it or to try out an entire new deck. Just google "how to proxy mtg cards".
Well, most local game stores sell pre-constructed Commander decks if that's your format you want to get into. Otherwise, if you want to get into 60 card formats (Like standard, Pioneer etc) They also sell Challenger decks, but I think the only ones that are currently legal in their specific formats are Pioneer. If you're doing the commander decks, you can get those at Walmart also.
All the Outlaws of Thunder Junction commander decks are under $45 right now. Most of the Fallout precons are in the same range. All of the Murders at Karlov Manor precons are under $40. 2 of the Lost Caverns of Ixalan are around $40 (I'd recommend Explorers of the Deep if you're asking.) WIlds of Eldraine has Virtue and Valor under $40. If you look around, there are plenty of decks you can find for under $40. Decklists can be found online. Of the ones I've mentioned, Explorers of the Deep and Virtue and Valor are good ones to start with as they play well right out of the box. If you are new to magic in general, you might want to look at the commander Starter decks. They're straightforward and don't have too many complicated mechanics to work through. Also, Card Kingdom sells preconstructed (by them) decks for under $30 as well.
Aside from a Wizards-built and prepackaged precon, your best bet is probably doing some research on various budget channels and then buying your own. A Budget Commander deck from MtgGoldfish for example; he does $25, $50, and $100 lists fairly often that you might look through. Then you just pick up the singles.
702.73. Changeling 702.73a Changeling is a characteristic-defining ability. “Changeling” means “This object is every creature type.” This ability works everywhere, even outside the game. See rule 604.3.
In general, characteristic-defining abilities apply everywhere. (On the other hand, if it's a 0/0 and it says that it gets +1/+1 for each card in your hand, that is _not_ a characteristic-defining ability and the creature is 0/0 in other zones.)
this set looks like hot garbage and its not because its a low power set its because it got real people in it and assassins creed is pretty lame now and so is u be soft also i remember wizards saying after they finished with portal three kingdoms that they would never make a set with real world people in it again after that.. guess they lied lol
@pmangano u be soft prides them self on being mostly historicly accurate so these are essentially real people only difference is there actions and events they may have been involved in in there game.
THANK YOU for going back to the original style of intro, the overproduced voiceovers never felt like they fit the vibe of the rest of the game
@@Spaghetti775 100%, love the old intros so much more

Ben stopping to read the flavor text is PEAK casual magic. Love it!
Confirmed, CGB is the dam that keeps Ben from going big timmy plays

Man this intro is so much better. The off the cuff style is way more organic and funny especially with the back and fourth between players.
This was a great episode! Loved the interactions and seeing the AC cards do work!
Wow that Ben Play almost felt like it came out of No where! GJ Ben!!
I like the return to the old format.
I'm Italian, Ben's pronunciation of ezio is not bad at all
All he needed was 🤌
Bro, Blake's shirt is awesome. Well done brother. 😊
Came down to say something about his shirt, I don’t read books often tho.

loved this ep! missed the last few, i'm so happy to see the old intros back (they have always been my favorite part of the video)
Production stealthily storms the table, great to see it!
i havent finished the video, but im cheering for Ben
We all are.

It's honestly been a treat every time we've had people other than the regular 4 on the show. It's so fun to watch other people play Commander.

Great game everyone! It was awesome seeing the guys again and watching them play! Miss the shop but glad to see you all doing well!
need Stokes vs Shea that would be funny. With cgb commentary

These guys are cool, bring em' back sometimes
Stokes and Brent were so entertaining! That was such a fun game to watch
"Mr Shea Stokes" got me 😆 Great game, loved the banter. Audio was a bit quiet, but no issue at all.
Thanks for having our back editor.
That Kenway deck is pretty close to what I wanted to build
I like the idea of production guys narrating an entirely silent game, maybe April Fools special?
Ben really won without the Ezio ability. That's is a true legend there.
Thanks for the spoiler
@@FrenchCanadianGuy you chose to read comments before watching the video
@Konstamonsta feel good

True, the second ability is just mean, I wanna build it only for the free running and win with a bunch of assassins

This isn't true, because Anointed Procession is a replacement effect, so all the riders stay. If it was a trigger, it would work as you say.
@@therealax6 Hi. Could you please elaborate on that ? I am interested in understanding the difference. Thanks.
