I got my own apartment at the end of my freshman year of university (6 months ago). I’m on disability support so I didn’t have ANY extra money to spend but over time I’ve added a few things. I get so excited watching these videos wishing to do the same to mine omg

It is honestly THE ultimate NYC apartment and I am HERE FOR IT 😭😭😭😭 the brick walls, the tall windows and high ceilings, UGH I LOVE IT 😭😭😭♥️♥️♥️ Oh my goodness man, New York is so beautiful 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭 I live in London so I am defo a city kid I love the city and it is a DREAM to see New York in this lifetime😭😭😭😭😭

For the curtain above the ac you could use two ribbons, roll just the middle part around the ac up and use the ribbons to keep it up using safety pins if that makes sense. Love your place!!
Grab some hem tap from your local store and you can hem the curtain to the size you need. Just use your straightener for the heat instead of an iron if you don't have one

thank you lia💖💖💖 and yes yes the exposed brick is incredible I’m obsessed! it’s just my mom & me so she has helped me out financially so this apartment is pretty much about the same as if i were to live in a dorm this semester bc we didn’t want to go about the process just for an apartment. I knew that if the dorms were to shut down i wouldn’t want to go back home for who knows how long because i wanted to be able to take advantage of my classes and New York- because after i figure out the schedule i will be finding a job either with film or something else to help build my resume and pay for rent! I hope this helped but i just want you to know how grateful i am for this experience and my film and tv education is the most important priority for me right now!!
