I have seen dozens of videos and tours of NYC homes and apartments and yours is easily the best. You are very relaxed in front of the camera and detailed in all the right spots. If your not already I would strongly suggest a career in PR, consulting, real estate or even as a producer in tv or films. Or even a news reporter. Good luck.
I'm fascinated to see what you get for the money. I always love to see what you get in different parts of the country. Supply and demand truly drive the prices. My nephew just moved out of Manhattan and was paying more per month for a lesser apartment. I always find it crazy what prices are for apartments in NYC and Tokyo. Just for comparison, I live in a 4 bedroom, 3 bath on 5 acres in southern Wisconsin. Mortage payment would be similar to what Taylor is paying.

the best thing I saw here is your willingness to do actual job by yourself - you did the wall, you assembled that closet/bookshelf by yourself too. Almost nobody does but you do, so - well done, Taylor! I wish you all the best in your professional and personal life - looks like you deserve a bright future.
No one is gonna see this probably but I lived in this building as well (which I loved) on a lower flower for 3k a month and the rent was from this year. For the size of it and everything it was truly amazing, especially in Manhattan.
Hunting for an apartment in Manhattan for the last two weeks and this apartment looks way better than I came across so many apartments under 5000 usd per month
stumbled upon your channel looking into lives of management consulting as im planning on entering it, currently at university here in australia. enjoy these videos cause they have actual entertainment, definitely giving me some motivation
Curious, how is the heat in that building? Well I guess it can't be all that good if you need a space heater. I had the same problem in the office when I worked in Manhattan. I needed a space heater otherwise I couldn't get any work done.
Hey Taylor, I usually don't write comments ... I found your video while looking for apartment tour ideas on youtube a week ago, your video was the third on the search list, and since then, I binge watch more than 50% of your videos. I like your energy and how spontaneous and ambitious you are. I like how you are open and transparent as much as you can about the financial stuff, and it is really helpful when you talk about your youtube channel growth. I think these little pieces of information are now lost as youtube became something everyone now knows about, or people don't speak about it openly, you do have a way of explaining things which is not boring. I will keep watching your channel ... I know I will learn so much from you, you changed my insight about money and investment in general ... Adding to the quality of your content I think this channel is something I will look for often, even rewatching some videos when things are not going well or down ... It is a proof to what you said in one video about your personality test. True :) For the record .... now 63.8K subscribers I think a year from now it will be more than 10 times that ;)
That place is AMAZING!! I’m from Florida and my daughter and I visit NYC often just for fun. She wants to move there after college and that apartment would make her really happy. You are right about needing lots of natural light in the winter… especially for her because she has lived in the sun all of her life ❤
I love this. Y’all are winning HUGE in NY. I’ve lived in Chelsea in the past and I would’ve DIED for this rent/space. I now live in Nashville and I pay what you all pay for a 2 Be, 2Ba with 1000sq ft.
I’m so confused, your channel is all over the place. 5 months ago you found an apartment for that price? The prices have nearly doubled around that time. Then you worked at your job for 4 months and quit and moved to Italy? Before that you were in Boston for how long? I have a headache 😅
You are very funny and very entertaining to listen to. I stumbled onto this video, mainly because I was shocked how low the rental price was. What a great deal. You guys did an amazing job with everything! Kudos to y’all! 👏🏻
Cool tour, your quite charismatic, the way you are able to make simple things more interesting (showing a lamp for example), yet not ramble on about something. Combined with your high energy, really works. But especially because it never seems forced. Subscribed ;)
Beautiful flat. I also like how you talk, I'm practissing my English and I like hearing your pronunciation, so pardon my English and my grammar mistakes, I'm going to be good sooner. I want to live there for a while so I can finally talk in English. Thank you, your flat is perfect.👍👍
A very good rental deal for Manhattan in a stunning location! Most people would say no to $3600 a month; too expensive just for the views but $1875 is quite reasonable for what you’re getting there. Good layout and nicely furnished.
No wayyy! I pay $1800 for my apt in Troy, Mi. I’ve always heard if you can make it in Michigan you can live anywhere. & I didn’t really believe that until now. Thank you, for the tour!
Just stumbled on this by accident, when I seen the rent, I had to see it. I'm IMPRESSED, to say the least, especially your innovative thinking on what you and your roommate done on utlizing every square foot of it. I just couldn't believe the price at first, I mean, it's Manhattan. I can tell you, that a decent 1-bdr here in Dallas is about $1400 with similar appliances. But y'alls view is awesome, very city-ish, really cool and great looking place. One of my daughters, here in Dallas (and her hubby) is paying $2500, 2-bdr/2-bath (for guest bdr & bath), 2-outdoor balconies, with gym, shaded pool and rooftop clubhouse ... plus an additional, I think, $500 a month for a 2 car garage unit, that connects to it, nice community and view, but Dallas is a rural/urban mix, much different ... I used to live in Brooklyn/Flatbush years ago. Thanks for the tour!
I've lived in NYC all my life. Even though there's been some downward pressure on rents due to COVID-19, I was highly skeptical the shared rent was $1,875/month. Fast forwarding the video to 14:37, I was correct that $1875/month is the rent per person. When their current lease expires, the rent will most likely increase to something like $2,200/month per person. This doesn't make it a bad deal, but it's important to keep it real.
Amazing tour! Never heard of those flex walls, makes this light filled apartment a steal at 1875/month! Amazing what you can get compared to here in Ireland, the views are amazing
Since she did not clarify i thought that 1875 was for the whole apt but in actuality it is part of the rent that they divide which I thought might be the case. Watch the video it turns out the apt is actually 3600 a month..I find this deceiving.
I live in Ireland, an apartment like this in Dublin city would cost easily 2 - 3k euros a month and Dublin has less job oppertunities, lower pay for graduate and master requirement level jobs, living costs are higher, the public transport is more expensive, less frequent, slower and less reliable and it hasnt got anything close to the views or aesthetic that New york has. Coming from what were used to in Ireland It amazes me when people who live in America talk about the cost of living in NYC.
Wonderful place :) My apartment in the Lindley House (E 37th & Lex) btw, cost me $94,000 .. upon buying it _26 years ago_ . Unfortunately, that type of market-a price like that in Midtown-is bygone history.
Taylor (if you still read these!): You should record another video like this with all your friends DURING A BLIZZARD for a totally different vibe that would give the viewers a more well-textured understanding of your abode ❤💜
I've recently discovered Taylor's videos and now I've been binge watching this channel. I love every single thing of this. The bloops part always makes me smile. Taylor, you're just amazing!
I only came here because i thought the whole thing is $1,875/Month in Manhattan ! I was like how lol She should've said 1875 per person... Oh wait, i see what you did there 😜 Nice!
I love how you were excited that you had a large closet and right before you said that, I thought it looked just like my entryway coat closet. You have a really amazing apartment. I could spend hours just looking at the view! I look out my window and just see a mountain range behind houses. I wish the houses didn’t block the view.🤪
The laundry and dishwasher are really nice selling points. It's a nice apartment. Back when I considered moving into the city, I could have been tempted to rent this whole thing out without a roommate. I've seen a lot worse for more.

Beautiful apartment & great view👏😍! Adding the flex wall was very creative & definitely gives you more privacy so that you do feel like it's a 2 bedroom👍
not too shabby for 2k. for that price you would get a semi-decent apartment in phoenix, az. love the location of your pad. sick view of the city too as well. i can imagine just chilling during the mornings in a place like that while sippin a hot mug of coffee.
Great room tour, especially paired with your energy. That foot heater is a game changer!! As for someone who lives across the great pond, a year in LA would be THE DEAL! But I guess the rent is somewhat identical to that in NYC, meaning: no can do 🤪
Different strokes for different folks. No way in fucking hell would I choose to live this lifestyle. I really do enjoy my 2,000 sq foot fenced in 3 bedroom house within 5 minutes of everywhere I need to go and 2.5 hours from 2 very big cities if I want to go to a big event. Paying $672 a month.
Love this - honestly never heard of a flex wall. But that maybe handy for me and partner when we have a baby in a few years. We have a large apartment that we love. But it is only one bedroom
Nice place! I just watched a video featuring a very small studio apartment - I think the estimated square footage was around 120 sq ft. The apartment was located just below ground-level. If you were look out of the windows, to get a view, you had to look slightly upward... and the view was a row of garbage dumpsters. Asking price: over $4,500 per month in lower Manhattan. Your place looks amazing and at a great price!
Thank you for taking us on a tour Taylor! You have an awesome place with an amazing view!! I would love to visit NYC sometime. I think I would live in Lima, Peru if I could live in any city for a year.
I almost never take time to see these types of videos, however, I was very much intrigued by two things that caught my attention: the amazing corner view of NYC and the $1875 /month in Manhattan of all places. The flexi wall is a fascinating idea. What floor are you on? Looks pretty high up? Great ideas - well done.
@@grantdubridge7995 The $1875/month split may represent her getting the larger or otherwise more attractive bedroom. It could also represent the cost of rented furniture, or some additional fee included in the rent. It's hard to say, but I'm assuming both statements are correct. That the monthly rent is $3600/month, and her monthly split is $1875.

I'm afraid of the renewal rent hike on the second year after the pandemic deal I got. Mine was from March 2021-April 2022 and now they are asking for more than double the pandemic price deal I got. Did anyone else get charged this much increase???🤯

Thank you so much!! Very true. Lots of good bang for your buck ideas for small spaces out there

@taylorbell I’m watching this in 2024, what would be the mini cost of this apt or any equivalent at Hudson Yard? What other areas in Manhattan offer similar modern and river view,
I have seen dozens of videos and tours of NYC homes and apartments and yours is easily the best. You are very relaxed in front of the camera and detailed in all the right spots. If your not already I would strongly suggest a career in PR, consulting, real estate or even as a producer in tv or films. Or even a news reporter. Good luck.
@Fredo How are you doing? Hope you doing good
Her energy is so sweet and relaxing
I hope when I grow up I can be a woman who can stand on my own feet like you. This is what I want most in life.
Good luck girlie
I'm fascinated to see what you get for the money. I always love to see what you get in different parts of the country. Supply and demand truly drive the prices. My nephew just moved out of Manhattan and was paying more per month for a lesser apartment. I always find it crazy what prices are for apartments in NYC and Tokyo.
Just for comparison, I live in a 4 bedroom, 3 bath on 5 acres in southern Wisconsin. Mortage payment would be similar to what Taylor is paying.
yeah, and you also make one third of what she is making living in Wisconsin, being much worse off net net.
I am obsessed with NYC for as long as I can remember....my dream of living there has been my biggest source of motivation and no matter how wrong things go sometimes, it keeps me going...this apartment seemed just exactly out of my dreams and I'm so touched to see my vision in reality ❤
Nice
Even I had same dream
@@TaylorBell Thanks Taylor for showing such a wonderful house. That's highly motivating.

I wish I can live like you. So minimal. I have so much clothes n stuff n I occupy my entire 1 bedroom in NYC. Love your view.
This is such a rare gem in the city especially for the price point, the standards and view! OMG you got such a dream deal!i
It really is!! Thank you so much 😊
Love the apartment- from the layout, to the decor, to the views! And at such a great price too!
Aw Thank you so much!! 😊😊 We’re loving it
the best thing I saw here is your willingness to do actual job by yourself - you did the wall, you assembled that closet/bookshelf by yourself too. This is something that deserves the credit - It is super rare when girl does such stuff by herself (simply just because of a mindset - that women do not do such things).
I like seeing well organized apartment tours more than huge house tours. The shower view is awesome.
I need those over-the-door double racks as well.
stumbled upon your channel looking into lives of management consulting as im planning on entering it, currently at university here in australia. enjoy these videos cause they have actual entertainment, definitely giving me some motivation
Happy to hear this!! Glad you find it motivating 😊 Would love to trade places with you in Aus during Jan-March months ahah
Curious, how is the heat in that building? Well I guess it can't be all that good if you need a space heater. I had the same problem in the office when I worked in Manhattan. I needed a space heater otherwise I couldn't get any work done.
It’s great! Toes just get cold by the window
Love the apartment! Seeing videos like this cure my depression and are really nice to watch!
To be in her young 20's and living in Manhattan is to me being successful. Good work lady!
Aw thanks so much! I’m loving it 😊
This is a win for the view and the price usually these apartments with this view are around 2-4k a month
True :)
For the record ....

This means so much to me 🥲 I can’t thank you enough!!! 💕
Pretty young woman with a sense of humour. Beautiful windows and dop dead views, nice minimalistic furnished apt
I wish I could find a place like this in Honolulu, at any price let alone less than $2k a month!
That place is AMAZING!! I’m from Florida and my daughter and I visit NYC often just for fun. She wants to move there after college and that apartment would make her really happy. You are right about needing lots of natural light in the winter… especially for her because she has lived in the sun all of her life ❤
You have to consider high price of everything in that area too
I really love her sense of speech and humor in this video!
Thank you for roomtour, it's something I want to achieve in couple of years
Got motivated 💪
You can do it!
I’m currently looking for apartments in Manhattan. This is a great one for me to look into.
I love this. Y’all are winning HUGE in NY. I’ve lived in Chelsea in the past and I would’ve DIED for this rent/space. I now live in Nashville and I pay what you all pay for a 2 Be, 2Ba with 1000sq ft.
Thank you so much!! yuppp very lucky with the covid deal. Hope you're loving Nashville!
I’m so confused, your channel is all over the place. 5 months ago you found an apartment for that price? The prices have nearly doubled around that time. Then you worked at your job for 4 months and quit and moved to Italy? Before that you were in Boston for how long? I have a headache 😅
She’s either from a rich family, lying or both.
That price doesn’t actually seem so bad. Nice tour, I’ve never seen or heard of a flex wall, very interesting!
You are very funny and very entertaining to listen to. I stumbled onto this video, mainly because I was shocked how low the rental price was. What a great deal. You guys did an amazing job with everything! Kudos to y’all! 👏🏻
I too stumbled across it and only watched this to the end because of Taylor lol
Thanks very much! We love it :)
Until I fear they hike the rent this year when it resets
@@amitm7555 depends on the contract. Price could stay the same.
No wayyy! I pay $1800 for my apt in Troy, Mi.
I’ve always heard if you can make it in Michigan you can live anywhere. & I didn’t really believe that until now. Thank you, for the tour!
We got a great deal! It’s $3,600 total (14:37 for cost details) which is still a steal for a Manhattan high rise 😅
Ok that flex wall is probably the smartest thing ever for NY apt.
It’s always a good day when Taylor uploads 😍

Aw shucks! HA nothing like obliterating some popcorn!! 🍿
@Thomas how are you doing? Hope you are doing good
So... why ya worry about sound proofing the bedroom? Do you fart a lot when you sleep?
Amazing tour! Never heard of those flex walls, makes this light filled apartment a steal at 1875/month! Amazing what you can get compared to here in Ireland, the views are amazing
Thank you so much! We love it. And I love Ireland too!!
Since she did not clarify i thought that 1875 was for the whole apt but in actuality it is part of the rent that they divide which I thought might be the case. Watch the video it turns out the apt is actually 3600 a month..I find this deceiving.
First time watching your vid, you have like gentle humour and i love itttt ❤️

I love how you were excited that you had a large closet and right before you said that, I thought it looked just like my entryway coat closet. You have a really amazing apartment. I could spend hours just looking at the view! I look out my window and just see a mountain range behind houses. I wish the houses didn’t block the view.🤪
The view is stunning
Guess what! I am moving in the same building and am already feeling so excited🎉🎉!

But I guess the rent is somewhat identical to that in NYC, meaning: no can do 🤪
Aw thank you so much! Love the foot heater. Ahaha yup LA isn't cheap either, but not as bad as NY I'll say! 😂

A wonderful floor layout, great views and beautifully organized!
Astounding charisma! This was way more fun than just an apartment tour video... which I like anyway!
Aw I appreciate that, thank you so much! 😊
Of course, happy to finally post this one!! Thanks so much for watching as always! Ah that would be a fun place to be for awhile 🇵🇪🦙😊
Nathan have you checked out Panamá City? Going back in May my third time in a year - I love it!
Thank you so much for watching! Yep we’re quite high up which I love 😊
Its 3600$
@@ViviVr777 It would be $3750 if the price in the heading is only her half of the rent.
