Sunrise at Angkor Wat is a magical experience, although pretty crowded. I recommend going to Ta Prohm early. No special sunrise, but just a handful of tourists then, instead of the hundreds during the day. Really calm and peaceful atmosphere ;)
I hope you get an opportunity to visit the orphanage while there. I was there and loved it but I really loved spending time with the children and taking them snacks and toys. Their faces of joy was well worth anything I did there. Enjoy your trip!
lol hot chili. sugar is the antidote not water. cycling to angkor is ok but a tuktuk is more relaxing cos you have to do heaps of walking around the temple. lining up to see the top of the main temple is cool too. good luck with the sunrise. we (hordes of people across the lake) all didn't get to see one when I went for the sunrise shoot. you can rent a small chair & have coffee on your "spot" while waiting.
.....and the golf course was well designed; the holes had character -it was interesting; plenty of opportunity for good shots.......etc. Come on Jord - these folks treated you to a great experience - tell us about it........... You do want to continue supporting your lifestyle this way - right ???
Awesome, that's a bucket list destination for me! I can't wait to see your footage. I noticed you have a pretty wide lens on your Canon. What lens do you use?
So basically the “thing” is called Angkor Wat. But, all of the temples are called the city of Angkor. The formal capital of Cambodia during the Khmer Empire.
Jordan you put a smile on my face, I was last in Cambodia in 1996 and at that time they were still struggling from all the horrible damage from the pol pot regime, Seeing this viedo tells me BIG IMPROVEMENT,,, Still not there yet but much improved, Hun Sens son was in the USa this past April and said "Cambodia has moved from a poor country to a Low middle class Country"
Do you go to siem reap in july-august? Or only upload the vídeos in that dates? I will going to cambodia the next week and I want to know about if is raining, thanx
What a wonderful golf course
We love these so much! Literally give us motivation ahead of sitting at our desks for the rest of the day... 😂
