The chemistry between Stephen Curry and Michael Jordan here is perfect. This is a great conversation between a six time champion and former basketball player and a four time champion (so far) and a current basketball player.
My two best players. Both propelled themselves and their teams to greatness. Both competitive, worked extremely hard to perfect their different skills. Steph golden boy, MJ the master. Steph will be Hall of Famer no doubt about it. Two amazing players who love the game of basketball.
Imagine them on the court together. The room MJ would have to operate, the passes Steph would hit him with. Be better than that footage of Magic & Bird teaming up.
I love how Jordan's character has stayed so consistent over the years. Sure he has his faults, but he's always true to self and comes off as the same guy decade after decade.
@Aaron9 perhaps you're a new or young fan, but MJ has a long history of being a jagoff to people. Also has one of the most massive gambling addictions. Just to name a few rotten character traits.

@@willthomas5953 its not about scottie or mj. Its beyond just gambling. Again, coming off as as a naive or new fan. Dude is a legitimate degenerate. Pressures people out of their wallets and shit talks them and degrades them into gambling just to hang out. Those people aren't usually as rich as him. Also, not talking about his teammates. I live in Chicago and know alot of servers downtown that have dealt with him and fan interaction, guys a complete jagoff to people. You can even just look up Chamillionaire the rappers story about meeting MJ to get an example of him being a pos to even a high profile person. It's all known throughout his history to anyone that has followed him since back in the day and isn't brandnew. With that said; flaws aside; he's a living legend, and still the GOAT. Gave me the greatest time ever in Chicago sports history, and despite his flaws, has remained relatively consistent publicly.
Mentality is a huge part of success. Things like ‘keeping it simple’ and being patient are key. MJ used to do a lot of mental gymnastics, like count backwards from 50 every time he hit a shot as a challenge to make 50
Mentality is so important. In basketball people talk a lot about skills and athleticism but it's mentality that separates the winners from the losers. Obv you needs skill and athleticism but having the right balance of mentality takes that to a new level

This was such a fun interview. The chemistry between Jordan and Curry was cool. You can tell Steph is in awe of Jordan. Curry is like a excited kid, paying attention and focused on the teacher. They both learned something about each other that day
I love how Steph is just picking Jordan's brain having a sitdown and understanding the approach and psychology of a great.. a student willing to learn from the master.. this is very Kobe like.
It’s so annoying that being born late (which you can’t control) automatically knocks you out of master conversation. Like someone born today will never have the respect MJ has in the game of basketball. Kind of sad.
Steph grew up around MJ, he's been Dell's golf buddy since back in the day so Steph is a lot closer to MJ than what people think, he just don't feel the need to advertise it but everyone in the basketball world knows their relationship. North Carolina always sticks together and all 3 have been giving the key to Charlotte...MJ, Dell, and now Steph🙌🏽
"i hate losing, I mean it's not even a question. But i respect losing cause it's part of winning. You gotta lose TO win" Reminds me of Kobe saying he played the game to learn, because losing and winning are part of the process of greatness R.I.P Mamba 💔🙏
The great thing about jordan is that hes so competitive but he’s also realistic and knows his limits. Doesnt claim to be an amazing golfer or have skills that dont exist
Takes a humble man, let alone MJ to say he’s not comfortable with a 50yd shot. A lot of high school, college and even pro athletes could learn a lot about that comment and the depth of it.
The way MJ looked at Steph at the start of this video, almost like a proud father looking at what his son has achieved. MJ played with Steph's dad in the NBA and likely saw Steph as a little boy looking on, and now Steph is one of the best players in the NBA. MJ's probably more amazed at the fact that Steph is dominating without being blessed with the elite athleticism that MJ himself had
People underrate how skilled mj is. And bro you know if Steph was bigger he most likely wouldn’t be as quick and mobile, which are the best qualities to being a good shooter on the move, going around screens, cuts, changes in direction. (Steph’s speed is underrated). There’s always going to be a possible trade off to having more size. And like I said, some of those layups mj made you aren’t going to make with just pure athleticism. UA-cam “Mj the layup” it’s a 55 second video. Who is going to make the 2nd layup of that video with just pure athleticism? I’ve never seen it replicated in my life.
Being from Europe, and being a fan of both these guys for what they both have done for bball. People forget that in addition to being the GOAT, Michael Jordan is the wealthiest athlete of all time, and in large part (thanks mostly to his mother, initially), paved the way for all athletes to make SERIOUS money doing what they do. From those those two standpoints, it's a massive honor to talk to him.
Truth. He is a cultural icon beyond America as well plus his impact here in Europe is exceptional to this day. I can't imagine that someone will ever top that
Just his mother? fark off, he loves and respects his mother, so do I, she is a great woman. but without his FATHER we never would have heard of MJ. EVERYONE knows his need to prove himself to his father and competing with his brother Larry is what made him a competitive freak. and he like most with no father would be a whiney b*tch with no work ethic growing up without a father and WOULD NOT be able to conduct himself so professionally and control his ego as he does. its the BASKETBALL skills that got him even in the position to get that Nike deal in first place. Not really. There´s only one person at ESPN who´d be able to get a sit down like this with MJ and that´s Mike Wilbon and the tone would have been about the same with a few more throw back stories.
Very true
@@trainerrob1622 He mighta been respectful, but also woulda had provocative questions for absolutely sure
@@trainerrob1622 what? SAS interviewed jordan like 5 times and everybody else. SAS is ESPN. He mite be a WEZZLE. But hes been in MJ house Floyd Kobe and Lebron house.
How can you not love the GOAT....he inspires me just hearing him chat...
I feel so excited every time i see Michael. Be it in basketball; golf, fishing. It always reminded me those good old Chicago basketball era. I watched all Chicago games especially the playoffs and championship games.
When MJ talks, there's something different in him! He's like a guru in everything!
When MJ speaks......everyone listens......love the way his approach to things.....he has a book before called "I can't accept not trying" in there he talks about his mental approach to winning and losing.....he has depth in how he sees things.
Michael Jordan is so thorough bred. That's a real Black Panther right there.
The Alpha of Alpha's
Michael “Black Cat” Jordan 🐈⬛
It shows how articulate they are, how smart and composed they can be as well. Alot of athletes that have gone on to work in TV aren't nearly as polished and comfortable as these two. If Jordan or Steph wanted to really work in TV they'd kill.
The only way Jordan would work on TV is if he's told he can't do it.
@@jasondyrkacz8270 Hahah! Perfect response.
If MJ cared about his image and media like LeBron, he would be the most popular athlete in the world, even over Ronaldo. His shoes is the biggest brand in the world, eventho he doesn't even show up anywhere to talk about it ever. Lol. No Twitter, No Insta etc.
@@youngbae5187 Yet Lebum feels the need to post some SJW shit every ten minutes
@@izzy031096 lmao
Damn, to hear Mike say that the pressures of all of the people watching while he hits a golf shot bothers him is crazy cause, he is the most pressure handling person ever!
Lebron when to the NBA finals 8 straight years. MJ went (and won) 3 but then had to take a couple years to goof off before he could recover. People like to say how many he would have had if he had not walked off but his team mates and other staff with the team at that time said that after the 3rd he was falling apart.
The greatest player with the greatest shooter what an interview
Michael Jordan rap song, hope everyone likes it :). ua-cam.com/video/Gv22KN3afBY/v-deo.html
I just love the positive energy Curry brings...just so exuding!
2 of my favs. It's good to see MJ more public lately. He's very powerful and inspiring. Even Steph is nervous with the Jordan aura.
As a fellow North Carolinian and Tarheel (UNC) alum, I am so proud of these two North Carolinians who have both changed the game of basketball in their own way.
