    Before I post the timestamps, I forgot to mention two important details. First of all some foes are immune to mundane or normal weapons as people call em. You need +1 and above on weapons. Magic works against em than again magic is limited so find some +1 weapons or better if tougher foes requires em. Second when a Troll is down, ACID or FIRE arrows will take em out. Other than that enjoy the timestamps.

      I am about to play this for the first time, I never played much of these Crpg games but I played a lot of the old D&D pen, paper and dice games 2nd edition, I had this thought, these early games (icewind dale, planescape torment, baldurs gate, never winter ect. are really just an extension of pen, paper and dice games, which relied heavily upon on your imagination not graphics, hence all the reading, story dialog and branching trees so for people that haven't seen a stat sheet and made a character before it seems very alien or daunting to them, lol

    Another reason why in IWD multi-classing is better than dual-classing while it is the opposite in BG2, is that BG2 has an EXPERIENCE cap while IWD has a LEVEL cap. You can get multiple classes up to level 30 so there is no reason to dual-class and stop development of one of the classes prematurely (well besides getting grandmastery).

    • @LordFentonGaming
      @LordFentonGaming  2 роки тому +2

      Difference is the Dungeons and Dragons rule version. The first game is Dungeons and Dragons 2.0 with some heavy restrictions on classes and race combo. While Dungeons and Dragons 3.0 you can almost be any race and class combo for example an elven paladin instead of just human like your in Icewind Dale 1. The enhanced edition of Icewind Dale 1 is easier to get online than 2 due to 2 is using TCP/IP that requires you knowing the host or using a program like Game Ranger. I hope this helps.

      Lord Fenton Gaming I believe that people are intrigued with fun party builds. Meaning not just ones that work but, experimental diverse parties that characters complement each other which just mesh well. I’m just getting into EE now. Was a fan from way back. I’m attempting a offensive party without a cleric or Druid. Just a Bard, paladin, ranger(archer) for healing. Topped off with a berserker. A dual class fighter magic user and fighter thief. My objective is to get the Bard alone as high as possible to getting war chant of the Sith. Then adding other characters. There’s a bard only quest right in town. Along with the other quests 5 level is possible before investigating the caravan at How level experience. It was easy in the old version but, we’ll see. Call upon holy might are great scrolls for cheap thrills and healing until you get the spell lol. I might go with a dwarf defender instead of berserker not sure

    How do you revive dead party members on PS4??

      Sure in Kuldahar there is a temple there to revive dead party members. Temples in games will cure you, heal you and even raise your dead party members. Same on other systems. Later on Clerics and Druids do get Raise Dead at spell level 5 and at spell level 7 is the more powerful version of Raise Dead called Resurrection.

    How do I take out the contents of my gem bag/ scroll bag/ potion bag?
    Also, can you do a tutorial on how exactly are these scrolls, potions and gems to be used?
    Are there any special effects if my characters have necklaces? Or are they just for vanity?

      What version of the game you do have? PC version you click on it, take out the contents from those items and put it in the inventory.
      Scrolls are used for two things, if arcane spells you can add them in your spell book if your int is high or if they are both types arcane and divine magic than use em however they are gone upon being used.
      Potions well you use them you either get healed if it is a healing potion, a buff or a different effect depending again on the potion.
      Gems are just for selling unless noted.
      Necklaces if they have stats on em yes useful otherwise go ahead and sell em for money.

      I would abuse the pause feature. This would give you time to set up your party. For example send in your fights to attack one foe at a time while your casters pull back to avoid getting owned. Keep your cool and you got this.

    As much as I love the Baldurs Gate or Icewind Dale games, THAC0 is the dumbest shit AD&D has ever done. Everything about this mechanic is counterintuitive, hey look at my ultimate warrior, he´s so good his AC is -10.

      I am so glad when 3.0 came out and got rid of Thac0. I agree the Baldur's Gate and Icewind Dale series is great.
