I remember beating this game a long time ago, with a high Wisdom build. Lots of unlockable memories and bonus experience. Very rewarding. The Nameless One is such an interesting character.
V informative bought the game on disc yrs ago. Cd never get into to now. Shocked how important dialogue is. Said the wrong thing to a dustman and everyone became my enemy as long as I was in the mortuary
Just bought Planescape on sale last week on PSN. Thank you so much for the video! I’m fascinated by CRPGs but I often feel overwhelmed playing them. This will help me out. Liked and Subscribed. Big Ups!
Thanks. I am glad you enjoyed the guide. Planescape Torment story is very rich and other developers decided to try to emulate this world, characters and more into other games. I am happy I've posted this guide and next one is Baldur's Gate 2 before I do this once a month.
Another incredible video from you that I fully enjoyed watching, buddy! This nostalgic game is killing it! I enjoyed listening to your commentary! 7:10 note taken. Your content is always incredible! Keep the good work you are doing I can't wait to see more and more from you! You are epic 😎
Thanks. Planescape Torment is a really great game to play. I call it the game I almost missed out on. I've beaten the original version over an year and was amazed by it.
People say you can avoid most combat in this game; well I'll tell ya, I got stomped FLAT multiple times. I must have run into every combat encounter. The most fun was having to go back to get the equipment you dropped EVERY TIME!! If you lost it in a high danger area and die again, it disappears! After this, you are straight screwed.
Some can be avoided by talking your way out while other times your stuck in battles. Always use the save system before any encounters you face combat or not.
Glad you enjoyed enjoy my Planescape Torment new player guide. I wanted to do this since the release of the Infinity Engine games on the consoles. Now I can help both PC and Console gamers.
Glad you enjoyed the guide. This game is great and now on consoles too. So not only people who missed it on the PC can enjoy it and get help so do the console gamers. Heck even mobile gamers can use this guide too.
Thanks. I wanted to finish up the Infinity Engine games that got released. I have one left to go than I am going to branch out beyond RPGs. Might even do something like Days Gone or something I've previous done.
Normally I send you off to a priest NPC merchant however this game does not. Let me list the way to raise dead on your companions. 1) You get a cleric one later on and she can learn that at level 9. 2) At some point the main character speaks with Deionarra at the Mortuary 1st Floor. This NPC will award you the Raise Dead ability that is 3 times a day before resting to reset the charges to your main character. 3) Get either Tattoo of Death-in-Life or Divine Censer. These will give you Raise Dead. 4) The following shops for a fee of 500 coppers can raise the dead: Keldor and Bones of the Night Shop. Both are in the Lower Ward I hope that helps.
Glad you like it. Next week is my final Infinity Engine guide so I can help PC and console players who can now enjoy these games for the first time and with help.
This game is CLASIC, one of the best games ever made, from story to gameplay and cool character it makes this game one of the kinD! Big like and support my friend, BTW this was great guide, are you going to play this game more? See you around 🎃🎃🎃
You are so right. Back in the day I regretted missing out on this game due to UO and Ultima 9. I came back to it many years laters and I missed out a lot of fun. I've beaten the game and loved how I ended it. You are so right this game has much to offer. Glad you did enjoy the guide. I am considering it after I clear out Neverwinter Nights Enhanced Edition and all of it's DLCs. If I need something to play during dead time I will toss this game in too.
Thank you IGXL Insane Gaming XL. I am happy you enjoyed my guide. I wanted to do this for the longest time and now not only I help PC gamers also console and even Mobile gamers.
Cool a fellow NWN EE player. Awesome you got a CG Rogue/Thief. This game is really good and I posted an guide like this after my success of NWN and BG 1.
Thanks. I am glad I did this guide for Planescape Torment. People want to try this game and needs help will use this than enjoy the game after leaving the first big area well more like starter area.
Thanks. If it is the Preparation Room Key it opens up the door on the far western part of the room. There is a key that opens up most of the mortuary. So keep on trying lock doors until one opens with that key.
I know I am little late to the party, but how the hell you kill wererats? my weapons are useless against them, and I do not know how or where to get efficient weapons... what the hell? help please!
@@LordFentonGaming Yes! I happened to have the enchanted teeth in my inventory, and I got one enchanted knife at the market! this worked! I was going to drop the game because of this block. I think this was a stupid thing for creators to make this mechanic, or at least not hinting it better in beastiary, journal or ingame dialogues. thx

The story is slow going yet if you stick with it than it is worth it. Many people like it since it focus more on story than action. There are plenty of Bioware/Black Isle Studios D&D era games that is more focus on action than story heavy that was made back in the day.
@@LordFentonGaming yeah it is slow but I'm trying to be patient. When Ultima 7 came out (my first introduction to the series) it gave me the same feeling. I was hooked on it by the end of the game and then decided to play most of them and it became sort of an obsession. My 14 year old nerd self decided to wear an ankh as a sort tribute to the game. I haven't really played any RPG s since accept fallout 2 and Morrowind. I really haven't found the time. If there are others you would like to recommend I'm all ears .
@@mystick93 The Ultima games from 1 to 7 is great. 7 both parts I played of are the best. I can recommend Icewind Dale, The Baldur's Gate 1 and 2 games, Neverwinter Nights is good. Another set I would say both Divinity Original Sin games. Pillars of Eternity is a nice one too. So many out there.
@@LordFentonGaming I'm going to have to delete PT from my Switch. It's buggy as hell as I found out from other players and I find this to be true. For instance,Deiondera does not show up at her tomb so I do not get to resurrect players. Also every thug I encounter wants to kill me. All of this is not normal from what I've been told. I wonder what else this accursed port has in store for me. I'd rather not find out. Maybe I'll try Icewind since it's already installed with it and hope for the best. Im now weary of buying anymore games at this point. I feel like I'd be wasting money. Maybe it was on sale for a reason. Baldurs gate 1 and 2 as well as Neverwinter Nights are on sale for $9.99 right now and I'm wondering if I should even bother with those right now.Its very frustrating. Maybe I should just stick to the Switch freebies like Warface or Fortnite for now.I have yet to play the latter.

I ran into the same thing John. Lot of running because everyone downplayed the combat and my build was not combat savvy at all.

can't get any good early gameplay guide on combat yours is amazing but still not enough :D
Thanks. Wish I could get more of combat. It is like the Baldur's Gate 1 & 2 and Icewind Dale 1 ones since it is on the game engine.
Thanls for the tutorial, I definitely had confusion on what to look for and what not to.
My pleasure. This game is really fun to play and has a really great and deep story.

Is there any utility to the gold/silver/bronze earrings, bracelets and rings beyond selling them for gold?
If it has no effects on them than they are there to sell. If any effects on them than they are a keeper.
