    I’m curious how well they will do being so close to each other with the smaller one probably going to have to compete for light once the big one really gets going. But one thing is for certain that is extremely aesthetically pleasing the way you have that set up that looks so good so as long as they don’t get too big and kind of stay fit for that pot that’s an awesome set up you got.

    Well I'm glad I watched this 🤔 I was looking up proper drainage because the soil has been damp for way too long. The plant looks very healthy but I need to adjust the conditions. While I had it sprouting in water, I kept a little dirt in the bottom of the jar. I was attempting to acclimate it for easier transplant but I think that process right there would add more nutrients to one staying in water

    Hey Brad, I have a silly question: how do you do to take those avos out from those nice flat balloon shape glass jars when you have to change the water? Cause you're supposed to change water once in a while, right? I mean, considering the shape of the jar and the roots, it might be quite alright to take it out, but what about when you put it back in place?? I've had the problem with another plant cutting, now the root system is getting bigger, so it's becoming tricky to take out/put back in place all those nice roots in the narrow jar opening... Ok, now I gotta add one thing: I love hearing you speak, makes me so nostalgic of OZ... ;)

    I accidentally knocked over the bottle with my avo plant and the seed separated completely. I left them together for a while but one half of the seed began to rot (I threw it away) while the stem continued to hold and grow on the other half. Will the plant continue to grow well while attached to one half of the seed or should I transfer to soil.

  • @OfficialSparkTark
    @OfficialSparkTark Рік тому +3

    Its not preferably with a draining hole, you need drainage holes in all your pots that your growing stuff in. If you dont have them, water will acumulate at the bottom of the pot having no where to go and rot the roots. In nature water doesnt stay in the ground at the plant, it flows down through the earth. Just a tip! Also im liking your videos so far.

    Hi question : I broke half of the seed of my 10 month old water grown avocado tree, i taped it a few weeks ago, today I wanted to check if the wound had healed and if the broken half attached itself, but in the process the half fell of again as it didn’t attach and with it came the other half, so now both halves are gone and just the plant is left with a full root system , will the tree survive? It doesn’t have any seed nutrients now, just light and water, and i don’t know what fertilizer to use if I were to transplant it to soil. What do I do. I put it back in it’s vase full of water, and the root system is keeping it standing up.
