Having lived in Green Bay and graduated from UWGB from 89 to 1994. Life was basically school, hanging at the mall downtown, drinking at the bars, watching the Packers at another bar, going to Oneida Casino, and enduring 6 months of cold ass hell winter repeat. Hopefully that circle changed.
For over a year my wife and I had planned to move to Green Bay from Seattle. Although life took us to Texas, if anyone from outside Green Bay is watching this just let me tell you, Green Bay rocks! From Packers’ fans and the team, to wonderful neighborhoods, to incredible home prices that even Texas can’t top, and butter burgers, this beautiful city on Lake Michigan captured my heart. Green Bay, I will always love you!
I miss the fish frys on Friday nights and on Wednesday nights during lent. I miss whisky Manhattans in a tub that you don't have to float a bond to enjoy. I miss my big house that I filled with friends I now miss too, but I miss the "midwest nice" the most.
Went to game in 2003. The nicest couple picked us up in the rain. Drove us around wanting us to keep talking as we were from Alabama. They took us to a store to buy raincoats. Though my x wife and i are divorced(shes the niners fan) we still remember and talk about how nice they were. Such good people there. Go Pack.
The East West divide is real. My family has been on the East side for at least six generations, and I absolutely refused to look for a place on the west side when I moved out of my mom's house.
This question might be a bit far fetched... But ill go for it. Do you know a Jacob family, based in Green Bay? Im from Germany and a part of my family apparently migrated there in the late 19th / early 20th century. We have long since lost contact to our relatives and I would love to get any Information about if anybody related to those guys is still around today.
I looked up about Green Bay, WI. On the Wikipedia it shows about in Brown County there’s also a unincorporated town also call Green Bay. So in Brown County, when you are talking to someone where u just met. If u live in the town of Green Bay. If that person ask u “What part of town U live in?” You tell him or her “I live in Green Bay Town?” Or if u live in the city of GB. If that person ask u what part of town u live in you tell him/her “I live in the city of Green Bay?”
Wis has cities and townships; there are no unincorpated areas of a county. There is the City of Green Bay and my guess there is a Town of Green Bay, but much of it probably has been annexed into the City of GB or other cities in the area.
One of the most noticable people in Green Bay is Raija Hansen. She’s the founder of Archie’s Angels, a 501(c)(3) herpetological organization and rescue, and she’s a cosplayer best known for her Montgomery Gator cosplay and her attempted-but-failed collaboration with DaRegularSauce. Although her address cannot be stated due to UA-cam TOS, the IRS public database of Tax-Exempt Organizations allows you to search up information about such an organization and other info. This doesn’t go without saying that I DO NOT condone stalking people with that information, whatever you do with it is at YOUR OWN discretion.
Thanks for sharing this green bay packer, my favor team ever ❤👍

The worship of the Packers is so true.... even the WalMart is painted green and gold.

I’ve lived here my entire life, it’s really not that interesting.
True
Having an interesting life is a Chinese curse anyway, count your blessings.
Is it affordable

Green Bay is call Green Bay because the water from the bay is swamp green 🤢🤢🤢🤮🤮🤮
Haha, no it's because the surrounding countryside is so green in the summer.
