My home for 50+ years. spot on video. I moved to other cities but always came back..NY Chicago Orlando and so on but came back. We Love the WI Badgers too.
I think you should do a video explaining the entire Fox River Valley/Interstate 41 corridor. Green Bay to Oshkosh will soon become one continuous metro area. There are very few undeveloped parcels left on I41 in the corridor and they are going fast. The entire corridor is easily and quickly accessible via interstate 41. Each of the many city's and villages have unique shopping and recreation options.
There has been a huge improvement in air smells in recent years. Back in the day, the mills shot out sulfur smell. It was noxious. If you ever notice an odor today, it’s nothing.
I’d argue that nowadays the most smelly facility in town would be Sanimax up in Howard. Maybe I’ve never noticed it, but the paper mills are nowhere near as smelly like they are in Kaukauna.
@@vidcas1711 I forgot about Sanimax; you are right about that! It sure can smell around that plant. My line of thinking was the paper mills, which really did stink of sulfur back in the day. Kaukauna takes the cake with smell.
I love how you say "root". As a long time Wisconsin resident that grew up just south of Fond du Lac I use to pronounce root that way. Since working in IT I had to abandon that habit. 😅
Just a tidbit….During football season if you are in town for a local game, the Away team aka the enemy lol is housed at The Raddison Hotel downtown Appleton a meet 30 minutes away.
If you go to Cancun…. And you take part in a drinking contest where they go around and ash where your from…. Don’t ever say “Wisconsin”, you will be immediately disqualified….. WE are very well known for our drinking lol
I live here and there are mostly pockets to avoid not entire neighborhoods. I would say don't move into the area between Main south to East Mason West of Baird and East of Monroe. On the West Side West Mason north to Velp and East of Ashland lot of bad Pockets.
Bellow national statistic's. Most of Green Bay is very safe. We have pockets of undesirable neighborhoods but even most of them are not bad. I feel comfortable walking around in %95 of the city.

Great idea Jeff. I will have to think that one through and put something together. Totally agree with your thought process on this. 😁👍

In some workplaces, the first day of deer season is an actual holiday.

Great idea 💡 I will see what we could do. Thanks for commenting 👍
Where are you moving from? We are coming from Houston Texas
Something that I quickly learned is that the West side and East side have different cultures and even a rivalry.
What was something you noticed as a rivalry Dillon? 🤔😁
Please tell us the pros and cons
Yeah west side>
Always the east side. You don't want to hit that train.
You gotta tell them about konops beef sticks
Didn't mention the close proximity to Door County. Pull your head out of your cheese.
Is there any part of green bay that's sketchy, that I shouldn't live in

Is there a lot of crime in Greenbay?

If I remember right…. Out of the 20 drunkest cities in the country I believe 18 are in Wisconsin right including Green Bay! Lol
Playboy magazine use to list the top 10 party colleges in the nation and always omitted Madison Wisconsin because it was always number one
I like the history of Green Bay but i can't stand living here.
How come?
Nothing to do. Nothing interesting @DeliahAyala.2.14.91.
