As a die hard packer fan, I love Lambeau field. I've been there throughout my life and the training camps are electric. I went to the packers lions game and bought an A. Jones jersey and since then they've went 8-1!. Tip- drink before the game to save yourself from $7 Millerlites inside the stadium
I went to Wisconsin for college, I grew up in Chicago, so I am a Bears fan. I saw two Bears-Packers games at old County Stadium, the Bears and Packers were equally bad in the mid-70's, so each game was our mini Super Bowl[the Vikings seemed to win the division every year]. The experience was great, especially the tail-gating before and after. I've only been to Lambeau once; during the summer of 1975, nothing was going on and they let me walk in to look at the field. Great venue, can only imagine the energy of seeing a game there!
I hope you had a great time in my home state of WI! I love going to Lambeau to watch my GBP play! But you missed to say, don't forget to find the drumline and listen to them for a little while! Haha Go Pack Go!
A quick note about the “beer man.” They used to have beer men before covid and you were able to buy from. They may return after covid is no longer an issue but who knows. But they were present at every game I’ve been to at lambeau field! Another note is that they went cashless due to covid reasons so they may accept cash in the future! Go Packers!!💚💛
I think now going cashless just prevents employees from having to deal with cash. It has to be so much easier. Enough so, that it's worth losing some customers who don't pay cash.
Lambeau tours and the HOF are not open on game days. The Friday before the game is always a good time. Saturday’s they have legend tours, where a former member of the Packers will guide you on the tour.

I lived in Green Bay for three years. I worked at the Barnes & Noble bookstore just down the road from Lambeau. Many of the former/current Packers are authors and you can pick up their books at that B&N, often already signed copies.
When my mum and I did a tour in 2017 one of our tour guides was at the infamous Ice Bowl game. It got so cold that day someone died in the stands from exposure. As we were leaving the stadium we had Ahmad Brooks pull up next to us in his car! It was a great experience and the restaurant in the stadium has amazing food - my grilled cheese had apple slices in it!
I would have also added that tickets are mobile-only at Lambeau. The Packers implemented this change starting with the playoff games they hosted last season. They are actually the second to last NFL team to implement mobile only tickets
Tip for winter games - bring a block of styrofoam to put your feet on (assuming they still allow them in). The concrete is freezing and the styrofoam keeps the cold from creeping through your boots and layers of socks..even if you think you have good boots.
@@Schneids71 lol not everyone has the money for super nice boots but I bet you could find styrofoam for free! I remember being 19, broke, my friend taking me to my first game...I put on two pairs of fuzzy socks and my only pair of boots that I thought were decent and my feet were still freezing!

I've been to several games. Nothing beats, however, the playoff atmosphere at Lambeau. I was at the Dez Bryant "No Catch" game. We had so much fun with some of those Dallas fans. It really added something to the experience. Previous games I'd been to had been divisional games. It's not just Bears fans the Packers fanbase shuns. They react the same to Vikings fans. Not as big of a problem with the Lions fanbase, largely because the Lions haven't been relevant in so long.
I can honestly say the nicest place to watch a game is Green Bay. We don’t care who you are or what team you’re rooting for, just don’t be a dick. Enjoy, laugh, drink(whatever) and have fun. Was able to attend a Packers / Bears game back in December 2021. Great time and all in all, the Packer fans got along well with the Bears fans. Hope to go back someday!
I worked at Lambeau field a bit under a decade ago, so this info may not be accurate nowadays, but indeed they don't have people out in the stands selling concessions... unless you get one of the specialty seats up on the 4th or 6th floors. However, note that these seats are usually season ticket holders or have other special tickets that aren't easy to get your hands on. I ran the 6th floor kitchen for a year, and it was stressful! The food at Lambeau is amazing though, even if it is overpriced (as I'm sure it is as any stadium). Also, yes, bring layers! Even when you're walking through the hallways and stairwells and such, a lot of the building is exposed to the outside, so you'll want to walk in from the get-go with multiple layers of clothes on.
That was a real cool video, parking at someone's house, bet there is no get off my lawn guy on game days, this whole place looks so cool, obviously not the weathet but looks like a fun time!!!
MetLife Stadium is cashless when you are inside as well. My uncle is a Jets season ticket holder, we've been going to the games for years. He's been a season ticket holder since 1964.
I have never been to any professional or college game in my 49 years on earth but I bet it is fun. I could never afford the tickets to such an event. I have been to a high school football game before though.
eh, you can get college tickets pretty cheap. just depends on what level you're talking about. if you wanna see ohio state/michigan or the iron bowl, it'll be expensive. if you wanna see a G5 team, you can probably get tickets around $20. ive been to the shoe (ohio state) and peden stadium (ohio). honestly ive had better experiences at peden stadium. im a buckeyes fan, but going up there is so expensive, parking sucks, etc.
No. Never been to a Packers game in Green Bay but tickets are pretty affordable. You babe to buy them from places like Vivid Seats SeatGeek ECT. Packers don't actually sell any single game tickets at all. GO BEARS!!!!!!
Just bought tickets with my two friends who are Packer fans for the Vikings @ Packers game so I'm just binging Lambeau videos now lol. Also good to know Packer fans are nice I've heard nothing but good things about them.
Seeing a game at Lambeau is truly a bucket list event. The foot long brats are a great value, there's a multitue of beer choices and lots of good food. Understand that the Packer/Bear rivaly is one of the oldest in football so of course there's more than a little back and forth going on. The lower bowl is where the bench seats are, they're kind of a tradition dating back from the stadiums origins. Higher levels have molded plastic seats and of course many of us have our own seats we bring. Thanks for this overview of a game at Lambeau! Is a trip to Door County next on your agenda? (BTW, love seeing the Leinenkugel's signs in the background, just ask for a "Leinie's")
Back in 1989 I went to a game in Green Bay (although as a Colts fan). The fans were great, although I didn't dress up in any Colts stuff. I just cheered at the wrong time....:) That game was Packer's Don Majkowski vs. Colt's Jack Trudeau!! Oh, the memories!!
Years ago before they renovated Lambeau field you were allowed to leave the stadium and come back in if you had your ticket stub and at half time all of the stoners would meet by the flag pole and smoke pot and the cops just turned their backs to it it was great because you would meet up with friends you haven’t seen in a while
As a bears fan...I’d load up on baked beans two days prior to release the proper amount of farts. I’d also suggest sitting directly in the risers so you get maximum volume for your release.
Green Bay Packers are objectively the greatest NFL franchise. The fans own the team. Most loyal fans I’ve ever seen and there’s nothing like an experience at Lambeau Field. Best football energy in the country
Trust me, those metal benches make a crease across yer arse that you'll remember forever! Fortunately, for the dozens of games I've attended, we were on our feet screaming for much of them!
Not bad, but if I may add a few other "do's"........After flying into Milwaukee, we stayed in Oshkosh, less than 1 hour away, Hotel rates were significantly cheaper. Did hang out Saturday like suggested and secured a parking spot at the Best Western about a block away. It was $30 for the spot and made it very convenient. A don't (YMMV) It was 11* during the playoff game against the giants in '17 and we were in the 3rd row....my lovely wife went to bring me a braut with cheese, it had to be hot when she bought it, not so much by the time she made it back to the seats. A shout out to Lisa at the entrance who was handing out the Packer towels. My granddaughter decided not to wear the winter socks we got her and was quite cold walking in. Lisa noticed and actually took off her socks and gave them to us.....she would not accept anything from us except for thanks.....what an incredible human being. Can't wait to do another game.
I did that at A Milwaukee Admirals Hockey Game: bought A “Blue Moon” beer at 1 kiosk, and then bought A “Giant Pretzel” at another kiosk, without any problems. I had however set my beer down on their counter (before I began ordering), and it was possibly blocked from view by the register or something else. So maybe they didn’t see it, or it’s just A different rule in Milwaukee.
The Lambeau experience has to be one of the best in the nation... every nfl team needs to examine it and take examples to apply to their experience. It's brilliant. Fans are great too... not a-holes at all... good people. Grew up blocks from Lambeau and spent a lot of time hanging out at the k mart that used to be next door.

Our biggest rival, a team I love to hate, a game always has me on the edge of my seat. I kinda figured that it'd be a safe place to go watch a Vikings game at in Vikings gear. It's just a game, it's entertainment, I know some people can be jerks. Tailgating at least for a hour to socialize with Packer fans. Love your videos and was really surprised to find one on our favorite team. Our son lives less than a mile from the stadium and is at every game. Wow i like come 2 america 2 experience my first game away from uk :) thank u 4 video 🙃😊🇬🇧🏴
My packers fan friends are really some of the coolest
You killed this! Thank you for being so informative 🙌🏼 go pack go!
This is great!!!
Im impressed getting tickets to a game! Bet that wasn't cheap!
Mark., How cool., best report that you've done., best regards from a Seattle guy ., forgive me with all due respect.,
Finally something from Wisconsin 😆
Hope to visit there one day soon, coming all the way from Nova Scotia, Canada.
Just bought tickets with my two friends who are Packer fans for the Vikings @ Packers game so I'm just binging Lambeau videos now lol. Also good to know Packer fans are nice I've heard nothing but good things about them.
Bundle up. It's gonna be bone-chilling cold. My son (first game for him) will be there as well. Enjoy. GO PACK GO
Seeing a game at Lambeau is truly a bucket list event.
Door County is on the books for next summer. We were justin Green Bay for the weekend and Janesville.
@@woltersworld Oh man, I could have met up with you! I only live about 15-20 minutes from Janesville.
Thnx 4 d info
Crazy that you're there!
Next WI stop, Camp Randall. Nothing like a Badger Saturday!
You're in my state!!! Please come to the dells ❤
Such a great video! 🙌🏻
Trust me, those metal benches make a crease across yer arse that you'll remember forever! Fortunately, for the dozens of games I've attended, we were on our feet screaming for much of them!
It's nice to know about the bags. It really sucks they don't have a beer person.
Woohoo ya went ta Lambeau. I'm the only packer fan in my fam. I love it. Go pack go.
A don't (YMMV)
It was 11* during the playoff game against the giants in '17 and we were in the 3rd row....my lovely wife went to bring me a braut with cheese, it had to be hot when she bought it, not so much by the time she made it back to the seats.
We will be attending the New Years day game this year with the Vikings. Coming from NC 14 hour drive bucketlist for pops..
Love your videos!
THank you!
As a lifer packers fan and Wisconsin native you have passed the vibe check.
I've never had a problem parking near Lambeau. Come early. I thought the parking prices were quite reasonable.
We get there plenty early and park for free on the streets in the neighborhoods. Maybe a 1/2 mile walk.
@@davidplitt535 we always park at the public safety building on Holmgren way. Last time it was 5 bucks and the rest rooms in the building are open. I'm old. 😬
Can’t Wait To Make It To One Of The Home Games Coming From Fl
I’ve never been to an official game, but I did go to Family Night (basically a for fun scrimmage of offense vs defense) as a kid, super fun, super inviting, and super cheap. Tell your folks I say hi, and watch out for deer!
Thanks Becca. Seriously with the deer. We saw sooooo many on our drive up.
Wisco! Awesome video sir!
I'll be there for the Packers VS Browns game, can't wait
I'm a Vikings fan who lives in Akron Ohio, Lambeau is definitely a place I have wanted to watch a Vikings game at. When I finally do get the opportunity I'm hoping it's an early season game. It's all in good fun, especially when we can come and beat you on your turf. SKOL
Also check out the tittle town district
Hello! Nice video! What do you think about driving from Chicago and back that day? What is the traffic like? Thanks!
I’ve lived in GB all my life and I’m going to my first Packers game in a few weeks at Lambeau
Love your videos and was really surprised to find one on our favorite team. Our son lives less than a mile from the stadium and is at every game. Agree with just about everything about the video except Krolls. It is the most overhyped place in Green Bay. Same food down the street at Drift Inn for 1/3 the price. Should have mentioned Titletown District great things always going on there.
I'm about to drive up from PA for the playoff game love the packers never went going to be cold but so fun
LOVE that you went to Lambeau
On my bucker list will get there one day may not for a game, but I will get there, been a UK Packers Fan since 1983
