Thanks so much for this great comment, and for watching the video! Notes from locals like you mean the world to me. Yes, I feel that both the rail road museum and the botanical gardens are wonderful! 😀
Harriet and I have relatives that live in Kenosha, Wisconsin. We have been to the Botanical Gardens in Green Bay. And we have enjoyed many good times at Lambeau Field. I ( Jim ) got to slide down that ramp. As always, Great video guys Sending you much love😍 dear friends from Richmond, Va. Harriet, Jim and Yuki
That's so great that you've been to the botanical gardens, too! Haha I think sledding and sliding down the ramp sounds MUUUUUCH safer than rolling down it, so I think you made the right call! And I actually have never seen a game at Lambeau, but maybe someday I'll get there! Have a great LDW, guys! 😀
@@MeansToTravel I live in south central wisconsin. So I plan on seeing some of the places you showed. I like the driftless area of Wisconsin I think the best. There is a lot to see just driving around. I have a video being released this Saturday where I visited Hyde’s mill, an 1850s welsh church, mineral point was interesting and ended at Belmont. The first state capitol.
This is really cool, Eliz! I don't think I've ever seen video of Green Bay before, but my Grandmother used to live there. Green Bay is also noted for being one of the prime places to live after the climate apocalypse in 2050!
Yes, I've read lot's of reports talking about how the Great Lakes region (and especially Green Bay and Duluth) will likely be considered climate refuges long-term. That said, where I live in Chicago, plus much of the Great Lakes region, has dealt with the smokey air from the Canadian wild fires this summer, so I'm not sure how safe of a safe haven to consider it. Sighhhhh.
It looks a lot different than when I lived their in the 60's. I lived just a couple blocks North of the stadium. At that time you could see the south scoreboard from the 2nd. floor bedroom window. as a mater of fact their was not much South of the stadium. Amazing how much it has changed from then.
Wisconsin is a large state, with some places having more white people than others. For example, cities like Milwaukee can be more diverse. Green Bay has a great Native American population. But overall stats would probably vary by city.

Good Job Eliz,Green Bay is definitely on my list.
Nice! I’m guessing you’ll definitely check out Lambeau Field on a future visit!
@MeansToTravel Definitely I've been to about 20 NFL Stadiums but not Lambeau yet.
@@MeansToTravel correction 24 stadiums,26 in a couple weeks after I go to Los Angeles.

That’s a lovely waterfall!
Thanks Billy! Yes I was so lucky to see two waterfalls on this trip to Green Bay! What an under-rated experience in that city! 😀 Thanks for watching!!
Lovely video. Looks such an interesting area to visit especially the railway museum and botanic garden. Thanks for sharing ✨😊🌻
Thanks, Jenny! Yes both the railroad museum and botanic gardens are extremely well done and worth a visit for anyone in Green Bay! 😀
Thanks for another great video🦄🏴🦄🏴
Thanks Neil! I really appreciate it! 😊
This is a great video. I’ve lived in Wisconsin 30 years and haven’t heard of a few of these places. Thank you for showing this!
Glad you enjoyed it! Where are you from in Wisconsin, and is there anywhere else in the state that you recommend to visit?

I bet it's cool have seen it then and now!
Wait... there is more than just Packers Games? Huh? You are talking crazy Eliz! Hugs Mark
What's funny is that I almost put something like that in the title of this video! 😂😂
You missed Bay Beach Amusement Park and Bay Beach Wildlife Sanctuary.
Good place
It’s under-rated for sure!
Born and raised in Green Bay! Hit everything on point. Definitely a lot of diversity here but mainly a drinking state unfortunately. Lol
I always love receiving comments like this one!! Thanks so much for weighing in, and thanks for watching the video!
Bay beach amusement park wasn't mentioned
Thanks for adding that suggestion! It’s only open seasonally, but it could definitely be a good stop if it’s open during someone’s visit.
I was hoping for Derek to roll down the hill :(
Haha it would have been a delightful sight to see!
Is Wisconsin predominantly white? Or is it kind of diverse?
