What editing! wow. Things got real serious about 11 min with the paint removal and powder coating. I love those long drop bar grips have never seen them before.
Fantastic video and great work on a beautiful looking bike. Love the end shots of you riding down the road at the end. Work of art. Many thanks for sharing and all the best.
Beautiful I love it cause I do have a 1985 also 52 ×12 fixed / stationary 27"×1" rims and tires please do have lots of fun thanks for sharing do have a pleasant day
Thanks! I’ve just left it as a fixie for this, but everything is still there to add a front brake easily and I will when it gets ridden more. Safety first.
Great video! I would have gone with a new set of MKS commuters platform pedals. Smart move on the crankset. Steel chain rings are the way to go because they last forever.
Can you go into more detail on how he turned the real wheel into a single speed? What steps need to happen to ensure it works. I’m getting confused by the spacing on the rear hubs
Love seeing these old bikes coming back to life . I have a shogun and a Raleigh both from the 80s and also a fixed gear new. There's something so real about old bikes. Great video thanks. Looks like you're running a tall gear there ? I ride fixed at around 60 gear inches , your looks more like maybe 75 ? . Happy riding
I’d recommend not using grease on the bottom bracket spindle because you could push the crank on too far and either crack it or make it nearly impossible to take it off.
This is awesome and I'm doing exactly the same thing on a smaller budget, and I need to replace the wheels what wheels are these and what size rear cog did you use. This would help me immensely, I'm very new to this and wheelset sizes are driving me crazy. Thanks :)
@@SJMCycles it allows you to overtighten onto the taper, which could deform the crank especially on softer aluminum cranks. this is like the only metal to metal interface on a bike you don't grease apart from the handlebars
@@milosong-weiss5770 Thanks for the explanation. Now this is an old comment, but I was gonna ask about this very thing since I've heard elsewhere you shouldn't grease the cranks for risk of splitting them. Is this why you risk splitting them? Them possibly deforming from being overly tightened?
@@TheDavveponken I mean that sounds very plausible. I was just parroting what I’ve heard which makes logical sense in my original comment, I have no actual experience with damaging cranks by greasing the taper
DUDE, extra kudos for the stop motion section. Clean AF.
Nice build and great work of restoring.

New lease of life for fixie tomfoolery.I like your style!

Young boy , brilliant work .
Beautifully made!

I could watch this channel for hours.
Love this, personally I would use new Odyssey twisted pc pedals with new hold fast straps.
Bro you didn’t grease the left turn bolt on the doodad properly. Remember on 2.75 turns of the 5mm hex key is illegal in Grenada.
I was looking for a video EXACTLY like this! Man, just thank you!
B-e-a-utiful work. Both in mechanics and edition
Absolutely gorgeous bike and excellent work!! Thank you for the awesome video!!
So, so, so nice, yet again,. You're an inspiration

Awesome work! You put so much love on that bike sir.. Pure beauty ❤️
Big Love from Bali
🙏🏾🌺

Wish I had a workshop like this
That's some craftsmanship. Well done!
Yo the pedals. This dude is psycho 😂 10 out of 10 5 stars on the video. Earned a sub on this one!!
Nice work. I appreciate your attention to detail.
nice build! I think the chain line might be a little off though, maybe if you used a bb with a slightly longer spindle it would fix it!
Can you go into more detail on how he turned the real wheel into a single speed? What steps need to happen to ensure it works. I’m getting confused by the spacing on the rear hubs
Nice job on the frame
Great work, as always!
The cinematography is awesome! Also the bike is a work of art
Lovely job. Just remember riding a bike on the road with no front brake is illegal in the UK.
Sick transformation. Wish I had the tools to do this. Great video
Beautifully done.
The author suffered with this video, but it turned out very beautifully!
Great Work. Can you give more details about the bottom bracket 110mm (Shimano?). Thank you.

Super curious about which BB you ended up going with! Nice video
Nice work! Looks great. 👍🏼
eww that build is sick 🤮🔥🔥🔥
Could you please tell me what you used for the single speed conversion....ie...spacers etc.
Cheers
Great job
intensely satisfying...
This guy uses the force.😳
Excelente trabajo, saludos cordiales desde el último lugar del mundo Chile 🇨🇱
Great work!

So satisfying.
What the size square taper bottom bracket
Amazing...! 🙏👌
I'm curious why you didn't grind off the shifter bosses?
Wow, done SO right!
magnifique ! bravo =)
this looks like york.. is it? such a cool video otherwise, that bright red is something else 😮
Hull 😀
Jan svankmajor bike build?
Awesome work and great video skills! Where did you get the decals or did you make them?
Amazing!
Reminds me of 'Take Hart' I'm expecting to see morph turn up.
Fookin lovely
whats the size of the seatpost?
It's beautiful, but the thing that really gets me dumbfounded is just how does he get those decals.
well done!

it rly depends on waht kind of riding you do and what size cranket you are using. a 19t or 22t cog is a nice all rounder
Excellent video! Nice work! Where did you source your decals? Or did you make those yourself?
Where did you get the decals
good job! Thickslick 23c, 25?
I have converted road bike to fixie and varnished .
I'm going to be so mad if this dude isn't Italian. I've already made my mind, he has to be!
UK number plates on the cars, so maybe not
@@barbabianca7590 I'm angry already
This is a job fucking well done.
Just curious what solvent is in the bin when you work with the pedals, gears, etc.
Nice restoration. A bit overdone on the decals.
SICK
so beautiful
No brakes at test run
I would have kept the original paint. Otherwise really well done!
What red is that?
Bravo bien travailler 💛👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
the only thing! why you forget varnish to protect your stickers. better - few layers
the chain ring looks like a 52, what size cog did you use? also, what material and what liquid did you use the shine the handle bar?
Nice!
very nice
Where did you buy the Peugeot stickers? Greetings
Where the brakes at
Love it!
Hermosa!!
I would have kept og paint just wax it, And cut handlbars
This is serious man
Sweet
I don't like Slow -fast camera
I would of just got rid of mudguards clean then polish
Where is the brakes, kamikaze?
the moment you dropped the frames set into the paint stripping water I lost hope and admiration😑
What’s the weight of the bike before and after trasformation? I’m really interested in a similar project
Heavy as fuck - - - Fucking heavy.
Linda como uma pimenta
You shouldn’t ever grease the square taper of a bottom bracket/crank
Thanks for the tip, why not?

Best to take anything off the bike that is too complicated for you to understand
Cantik!
