My husband and I did this for years. And we never get tired of it. My husband did several avenues of racing but we seemed to go back to European really. If you two ever want to try you'll 💘 it.
I had a 65 GTO when I was 16-- Brand New. Awesome car! Really want an Aussie GTO. umm with a sleeper blower... Love you and your vids - you keep it classy. Thanks for the fun!
Erebus G So glad you found us on here!!! This is where MT found us 😉 There’s SO MANY great episodes here- produced by US- so lots more HEART! The MT show was fun but not completely what we wanted! Currently, MT doesn’t plan to shoot more episodes of it- we aren’t hurt though! YT is our focus and where our hearts are at! We still work with MT though, end of the month there will be the SEMA special that I hosted- all the MT folks love us- so it’s all good!
Here's a tip! Install the line locker in reverse and on the rear brake lines, so when you engage the line locker at anytime it's preventing brake fluid going to rear brakes, thus having all the control over front braking for a much better controlled burnout. None of this "stand still" burnout stuff.
David Tyrrell exactly , I don’t understand why people have a mental block when it comes to installing the kit “backwards”. Instead of locking down the front brakes and literally only be able to sit still and do a standing burnout why not use it to block off fluid to the rear so you can do both standing burnouts and rolling burnouts etc. You just control the amount of front brake input with your foot and know that you have NO rear brakes tryin to stop the tires from spinning while the line lock is engaged
That's what you're supposed to do with these things... I always thought that was the standard procedure for this addition. I suppose Holden owners need all the help they can get. ha ha
I have linelock installed on my rear breaks, and it is so smooth, just straighten the big toe and rear wheel spinns, and then i can very smooth go slowly forward... I can understand when you have stickshift it’s easy’er with linelock on front wheels, but i have a real car with automatic transmission 😉
Fun video! Many ... many moons ago ... just after the extinction of the dinosaurs ... I made that same mistake with the wrench and the battery and burned out a fuse link in the wiring harness in one of the most inaccessible places on my new Camaro. I fixed it, but the permanent gravel impressions left in my shoulders always remind me to unhook the ground when working under the hood.
cursed like a sailor in the shop. see there is no difference between her or a man working on the car. we all get upset when we nearly fry ourselves haha. love the vids and Roxy. keep up the good work.
When I had my GTO I used the flash to pass for the line lock so that I could easily hold it and have my right hand free for the shifter. There is also a company that makes them for 05/06, I forgot who it was but their kit was what I used.
Beautiful, smart, sexy, great mentality and most importantly, loves cars and works on them. You are a Very Lucky Man, she is 1 in 10,000,000....Perfect Woman!!
Ah, we don't have mics right now! We need them! I had to really tweak the in car footage because the GoPro being in it's case really beats up audio! Glad you liked it, we've got a lot of room for improvement!
Oh dude, the wiring was the easiest part!!! It's one ground wire into the cab to your switch (then you ground your switch inside) and one to your battery!
Very fun!!! Since we have discussed romance in cars. I was on a first date with a gal. I did a righteous burnout like that, and when the smoke started rolling into the cab of my pick up. She said. "What is wrong with your truck" that was the only date we went on? She didn't get it.
the line locker for burnout's should be fitted to the rear brake line and backwards. this way you can flick the switch with your off the brake to give you control over the front brakes when your doing a burnout. this means you can creep, do donuts and all without dragging the rear brakes.
My missus says im not aloud to watch this channel anymore she would rather i watch porn lololol Holy shit that's a nice Commodore, Respect for reping the 2 Door Monaro thats amazing
I've had a couple people ask for that already... Maybe I should? Since it's already installed, it's a bit harder but I can walk through my install... Would that help?
Yeah you look good, but you didn't tell us anything technical about installing the line-loc. I wanted to know where to tie into the 06 gto brake system- front or rear, or before(or after) the ABS block. Again, you look good, but I wanted the tech stuff.
Kinda dangerous if you flip that switch while driving and not know you did and then need brakes and that wont make them work ... i would switch it to the back and just basically block rear calipers from getting pressure from the master cylinder
My husband and I did this for years. And we never get tired of it. My husband did several avenues of racing but we seemed to go back to European really. If you two ever want to try you'll 💘 it.
Greetings from Missouri, Emily the tire slayer. Roxy is lookin good in that cloud!
Thanks David!!!! I thought so too!!

Very nice HOLDEN MONARO.
Love it an Australian muscle car sold to the us I had canary yellow one here in Aus
You've guys have a great video editer. I'm wondering what microphones they're using that sound came through amazingly. In-car and outside.
Ah, we don't have mics right now! We need them! I had to really tweak the in car footage because the GoPro being in it's case really beats up audio! Glad you liked it, we've got a lot of room for improvement!
Oh nice! Yea those cases really do suck for sound. Guess I just need to get better with video editing and the Gopro studio.
Keep up the good work!
That would be very helpful to me because I want a line lock as my next mod. I'm just a bit intimidated by the wiring.
Oh dude, the wiring was the easiest part!!! It's one ground wire into the cab to your switch (then you ground your switch inside) and one to your battery!
Had some awesome sound effects happening lol
That's Awesome!!!!
The company I worked for at the time, built that car. It was built in Adelaide, South Australia, by Holden Australia. :)
Ok thanks sounds amazing
hey emily how much did the line lock cost you?? is it easy to install??
Very fun!!! Since we have discussed romance in cars. I was on a first date with a gal. I did a righteous burnout like that, and when the smoke started rolling into the cab of my pick up. She said. "What is wrong with your truck" that was the only date we went on? She didn't get it.
Awesome video and car makes me want to get a "goat" now lol
:) Picked the worst asphalt to eat them tires Emily LOL FYI It's LSXREVIVAL

Vader 96 I certainly appreciate that! I'm pretty fond of her!
Emily Williams If you dont mind me asking, what year is it? And do you still have the stock rear end in it?
Vader 96 Sure, it's an 05. Stock rear end!

Flying Sparks Garage yes it would. please, and thank you.

An American version of an Aussie muscle car.

Kinda dangerous if you flip that switch while driving and not know you did and then need brakes and that wont make them work ... i would switch it to the back and just basically block rear calipers from getting pressure from the master cylinder
lsx blazer The switch doesn’t disable the brakes ;-)
Thats not a burnout. Thats locking the car in one spot and prrssing the accelerator.
