I can't express how much I love seeing you guys with your niece. As ridiculously sounding it is, I can actually feel my heart swell and can't stop smiling. sigh...its so so beautiful. And you have a great laugh. Also, back to video topic, great video and fun to see your projects. Thank you for sharing. Thank you for also sharing the personal familial moments also.
Emily . The only way to learn is by making mistakes and practice . I did my apprenticeship 40yrs ago and still everyday i am learning new stuff . Its a pleasure watching such a lovely couple.and Lyla? Is a hoot looking over her glasses at emily and giving the stare . Classic
hugo w Thanks so much for the kind comment!! I completely agree!
That dude (Aaron) is my hero. He somehow got his wife to do most of the work and heavy lifting while he goes to the "parts store" or just puts bolts on. He is the brains while she is muscle. Awesome!
Absolutely great to see kids doing stuff in a shop!! Pass the knowledge!!
I'm sorry but that kid is the real star of this show. When she gets older, you'll have to pass on the torch of the show to her.
ChillCosmos I have a feeling we'll wrench together for a looooong time, me and that girl!! She's a trip. So glad to have these memories documented!
Won't be long till you can get a seperate series for her. Just start building her car for when she's 16. It'll go faster than you think.
slightly :D
She is super beautiful mechanic i never see in my life
Great video Emily. Also your little helpers are learning some good wrench turning life skills.
the kid and wee dog are awesome. *i like you guys teaching kids how to work with their hands too.
This is the best thing i've ever seen in my life..... And i've seen every Air Bud movie.
Ok. FINALLY got to finish watching this episode. loved it!! This is coming along so great!! You guys are kicking butt!! the kids are learning so much. Great job with them!! Looking very forward to the next episode.
Thats incredible how you involve the children with what you do. Keep it up.
Awesome video! Love seeing the little ones not in front of a puter! Keep up the great life lessons! So cute!
7:34 put a huge smile on my face! She is adorable. It brings back memories when my girls were that age.
This was the first video I watched of you guys 5 years ago. So glad to see the channel is doing great still 👍
Never seen somebody so happy working on a car.
She's doing a fine job with a great attitude. Nice arms, Lady.
My 5 year old daughter, Emilie, Loves helping me work on my 66 Datsun Roadster! Nice to see others not afraid to let their little girls learn to work on cars!
Like always, a good watch. Love this couple. Get it.
Look at you go with your Baad self, Tearin' parts off and Breakin' bolts!...Gettin' stuff done! I should try that once in a while.
Great Show, I just recently did the same thing on my 73 and make a couple of the same mistakes you made. I wish I would have watched your video first. It is extremely helpful and I can't thank you enough.
love that you include the kids. adorable
Love the look your little helpper just gave you.
I just found your channel and I subscribed, model and mechanic, OMG like every guys dream 🤗🤗
so cool to see the little ones in the garage. get it girl!!!
SEA FOAM and HEAT !!! A cutting torch and sea foam you won't break off bolts again !! and your help is great !! I love when my 5 year old duaghter helps me hold tools
Another great video! Thanks for showing the details on suspension upgrades. These new suspension parts have come a long way in 40 some years. For me especially seeing this build come together is fantastic! The pressure for me is not missing one video of the work.
Aaron, every time I see a video with Emily, I'm
reminded how you are such a lucky guy!
But, watch out for that youngster. She could
possibly upstage Emily.
steve
At first I thought her sexiness was clickbait but she knows what's up + 1 sub
I like that she doesn't pretend to be someone she isn't.
Troy mackeod Thanks guys!!! I try!!
I just like how she's not pretending to be a model when she's wrenching and covered in decades old rust
Same here, the gems you find through Roadkill, who'd have thought :P
She just happened to pop up under my youtube recommendations, never knew she was associated with Roadkill until recently
She handles tools better than some guy's I had " working " for me. !!!!
Cool stuff, Emily. Makes me miss my old 280ZX.
Your Show is Awesome! Great footage, music, hosting, editing, information, hosts, and guest hosts in pink safety glasses. Not to mentions Cars! Thanks!
You should get yourself a lapel mic, that would increase your production value tenfold. Also like everyone else has said, your niece is adorable and it's awesome to see you and Aaron working together in the shop, that's goals right there.
Jim Welch We bought $900 lav mics, used in prior episodes but they decided to break. Both transmitters shot. 😐 so. We need to buy more. Camera audio only on this episode #becauseracecar 😅🙌🏼
tbh for pure camera audio it doesn't sound bad at all
If you y'all are still taking the Dat-Zen on the Power Tour you are feeling the pressure.. just like us... nothing like running out of time... Great show as always!
MrRandallWhipple oh dude, the pressure is ON!!! FOR SURE!!!
See you guys on the road!!
I need to get little pink safety glasses for my daughter! So awesome.
Great to see you back! nice welding also!
Emily! Get that engine show online! Love you, the kids, the cars, and the interaction between you and that old guy.
Yes, you need to be wearing safety glasses! from your friendly safety professional. Really enjoy the show and congrats on being picked up by Motor Trend!
Y'all are awesome. So cool to see the kiddos in the shop. Keep up the awesome work!
Please don't stop!! Love your show!!
hey Emily, I've had one of those bearing packers for years. easy way to do it is after you've put the bearing in and put the tapered top on, put it on the floor and press down with your foot until grease comes out between the rollers. I've done it that way for years, makes packing bearings quick and easy. take care. you do better than most professional techs I've worked with over the years. 30 year ASE master auto tech here.
Great episode, cool to see more of Aaron!
Loved the episode! Can't wait to see the awesome motor video. Lila is super cute!
Hi from Uncle Nick: Please be advised Blaster spray with nozzle is very good/helpful for rusted or stuck bolts, next is heat em up with a torch,. its strange can with a yellow cap! I worked on 240Zs and very hot Datsun 510s in the 70s. early ones had a match of pistons & con. rods, 4 or 6 cylinder. I enjoy the movies, Nick
That kid is soo sweet. Love your channel.
IM SO EXCITED!!!!!!! Awesome episode. I thoroughly appreciate the slider shots 🤠
great episode! best so far! the b-roll and shot angles are great! plus the bonus with your ham of a niece...hahaha. im getting jealous of the car! 😁
u guys are growing in production and are doing such a great job! im proud of u guys!
Malachi Stowe Thanks so much buddy!!

Your daughter is awesome. Teach em young. Cool to see fam working together
My bad, that's your niece...... Cool
another awesome episode! love that you got the kids in the shop working, your niece is too cute. cant wait to see more of the Zen, and those Nova vids too!
i like that your subscription count is getting up also, surprised more dont sub/watch.
Dustin Swoboda Thank you!!! Slowly but surly!!
thanks for the video! that lil girl stole the show!!! 😍 wish my daughter would be interested in helping me in the garage.
So want to move to texas. The cars and accents now thats the life. Great content
Just watching this episode now you guys are great !
Just FYI, the direction of any rotor, regardless of whether it's slotted/drilled is determined by the internal cooling vanes between the faces. If they're radial/straight then it doesn't matter which side they're installed. If they're angled then they're always supposed to lean towards the rear of the car.
Good luck with your future builds!
PB BLASTER works well too for rusted fasteners. Great vids, keep up the good work
You are building the very best human ever.!!!
U guys are on it good job fantastic editing keep up the good work cheers
awesome build. never seen a female mechanic this good! a few 240s with small blocks (289s) in FL, very rare. i saw a canadian in FL who had one around 2012, not sure if he was the first. kids a trip man.
Direction of the slots on the brakes doesn't matter, the internal vane direction determines which side the brakes go on.
That kid is hilarious!
On a side note, I would suggest having links to the actual parts used for THIS car in the description. great series, keep it up!
Little Bit will be on tv before long.. She's a hoot
Your channel is one of my top 5 channels in UA-cam, please keep the good things up!, I have a question though, How did you get into wrenching with cars from modeling?, or is it the other way around???
Groupwar NA Modeling and mechanic-ing came the same year but unrelated! I was 14. Tall and skinny and thought I'd try modeling after everyone told me I should, and then I met a boy. He was a mechanic, I wanted to with with him 24/7. Nothing has changed, yet everything has changed😇👊🏼 that's the story!
That kid is adorable. She is a natural in front of the camera.
Ok, just subscribed to your channel. This is awesome, love the Nissan 280z, definitely in the top 5 for cars I would work on. Like that you guys sand clean and paint all the parts that you take off before putting it back on, to me that just makes sense. Keep up the good work.
by far the cutest girl on you tube.. great couple and enjoy the videos greatly.. keep it up
Just an FYI spend the bucks for factory u-joints on the Rr half-shafts as they have more needle br. We tried several different brands of after-market/part store ones, they fit. But only last about a month of regular street dr. & 1 Auto-X, after the 5th month finally in desperation went down to nissan dealer and those were in the car 25k later & 36 Auto-xs.
That little girl is just too smart! Be careful, Emily. Your days as the "queen of the garage" may be numbered!
SWEET Good Job. Cant wait for the next vid !
I'm also running s13 obx lsd and z31 turbo CV axles. awesome combination
lucky you have a super model that is super smart to help plus a good kid
Sorry guys, but it's 1 am, and have watched 4 hrs, need to sleep. You are awesome. Hope you make a butt load of money, as you deserve to. Thanks for the entertainment. I'll be back.
Looking good you two, and the car is coming along nicely too
"Soo Manly when you Hold it" pffffHAHA! You guys have a good sense of humor!
damn, that is some Pro welding! i think i´m in love
Talk about knowing every nut and bolt in your car, just saying. Love you guys. Be safe. Peace.
Way to go, teach um right when they're young and they'll keep it their whole life!
Kids n callouses.
Had to join the channel just for that great five years old turning tools, she is so cute, lol
For stuck bolts, use a propane torch (aka hot wrench) to heat up the bolt. An oxy acetylene torch works, just don't heat it too hot and melt it. PB blaster is a good way to start, but sometimes it's not enough.
Flying sparks ⚡️ you ROCK. 🤘
Alila is so adorable..... :) Thanks for the video guys :)
I use PB Blaster, I was going to say, a little of that would help, keeps rusty bolts from snapping as often and makes it just easier to do
Running a butane torch on that bolt heads. Best way I have found to remove old rusty bolts. just hit it with the torch for 10-30sec. and boom they come right out.
such a cool little one car is getting better
your niece is adorable and needs her own channels soon.
That little girl is amazing.
In my experience the direction of the slots and dimples/drilled holes don't matter. In directional rotors the veins (a.k.a. fins) between the rotor friction surfaces are curved, or are segmented curves which improve cooling, but are more expensive to produce, over your standard straight veined rotors.with those you need to have the curves in the direction to throw the air (and heat) outwards from the hub, which acts as an impeller, forcing more air through. In straight veins, they act in a similar way, but only act as fins in a radiator, in addition to supporting the "floating" friction surface, there's no additional airflow benefit effect to them due to a basic design.
congrats guys on all the work!!
Garage Porn.... I love it!!! Keep up the good work and the great content.
welcome to the wonderful world of wrenching
Great video, keep up the great work!
she is my idol,,love her knowledge

Love these video. Keep up the good work. 👍.
THAT KID IS ADORABLE.
Looking forward to how the differential works out with that engine. Are you using stock shafts with it or are you upgrading?
beautiful video keep it up ....
love the show, I see you using wire wheels to clean parts and remove rust , have you ever used a rust converter ? much easier , and works great !! also pretty cheap only around $50 gallon but a gallon goes a long way
Liyla (sp?) IS SO PRECIOUS! MORE WITH HER PLEASE!
Mawson Lila is awesome 😅🙌🏼 So glad you guys love her!!
Yeah Emily ya'lls true road kill... love that tire idea.. 13:06 .. Badd ass episode Congrats again... btw i use PB Blaster, but will try the deep creep. Great episode as usual!
