I have been on Fluoxetine ( Prozac) for 2 months, I’m very exhausted. I wake up late, I go to bed late. I’m waiting for 12 weeks. Hopefully the meds will kick in by 12 weeks. I’m gonna try to go the gym tonight. Work out at least for a an hour even if it’s almost midnight. The gym in Paris (France) is open 24 hours. I’m a 43 year old male. I have anxiety, OCD and depression. If fluoxetine ( Prozac), I might switch to sertraline (Zoloft). I Wish you best of Luck. Thanks for sharing your experience ! 👍🙂
@@parisfx I really hope it starts working for you. I had to go up to 100mg to really feel a difference, I was on 50 for a little while before and it didn’t seem like enough. Yeah I would think working out when you’ve been on it that long would help you feel at least a little better, it’s been helping me. I had ocd as a kid and have it slightly as an adult but haven’t noticed having it since being on Zoloft. Let me know how it goes! I hope you feel better soon
@@AddictedToMore_Thank You. I will. My Doctor increased my dose from 20 mg of Prozac to 60 mg. Which is the maximum recommended dose. At least, if it doesn’t work, I can tell myself I have tried it for 12 weeks. I gave it a chance. Zoloft is indicated for OCD as well. That’s why I might switch to Zoloft if Prozac doesn’t work. I have read reviews of people who had meds working after 12 weeks and sometimes longer. Sometimes, it’s all about Patience and consistency. 🙂
Don't die in the street, ATM. Don't get eaten by dogs either. Must be fun playing with those kids. Everyone is gone except for my folks in my family and I have no kids. Being an only child weirdo loner is strange at times.
I've been on Zoloft for about 4 months at 100 mg... And I still feel like I wanna blow my freaking head off... I'm 102 days clean and sober. The Dr said I'm having post acute withdrawals and might change my meds.... I'm also on Seroquel, buspar, and depakote for bipolar disorder
Hey. Be patient. These meds take time to kick in sometimes. If this combination doesn’t work, your doctor might change it, There’s a hope. It’s all about patience and consistency. 4 months is perceived as too long by many but it’s too short for a condition that people had for years and even decades. I advise you to see a psychiatrist. These people are specifically trained to treat these conditions. I’m sure everything is gonna be alright if you’re taking care of yourself. Best of luck.
Hey brother I always appreciate your experiences and I have a question that no one seems to bring up. They say you have to get better before you get worse while starting ssri's. How many side effects are you supposed to get to know that this particular medication isn't suited for you? At day 6 I stopped because I've gotten off Zoloft years ago and Im very familiar with the brain zaps and withdrawal so I wasnt gonna risk getting hooked on it again and going through that grueling process all over again. The emotional blunting, weak erections with numbness in genitals. 2 hours of sleep in 2 days, these 3 side effects are a HUGE PROBLEM. @@AddictedToMore_

You don't look 39. I would have guessed 25 or younger. The goats are adorable.
@@Mmoose712 I love you
