Nicolette Larson and Laura Branigan were born within days of each other in 1952, and both died relatively young of brain issues. They had very different styles, yet both were wonderful in their own right. Each of them had a lot more to contribute. They are missed.
That's true Laura was from New York and Nicolette from Montana so one from the east coast and one from the west but the circumstances between both of them were close. My dad's birthday was also July 17th but about 3 years older than Nicolette as he was born in 49. He was born in New York. Well this is an irony.

Larson died on December 16, 1997, in Los Angeles, California, as a result of complications arising from cerebral edema triggered by liver failure.

Just rediscovered Nicolette after years. She just exudes softness, tenderness & femininity, voice so soothing and happy; and such a BEAUTIFUL LADY.
What a smooth voice, her range is so wide that she easily hits the highs when needed with little or no strain. She was an underappreciated talent.
I loved Nicolette's voice! 💖I listed to the song that Neil Young famously gifted her, "Lotta Love" (my intro to Nicolette when I was a young teen), at least twice a week.

She was a naturally beautiful woman and so talented. I always thought she had the most amazing hair. Her, Cher and Crystal Gayle which are all favorites. I’m sorry that she died so young. Our birthdays are a day apart but different era. Heard her daughter is following in her footsteps ❤❤❤
