This is such a well done video it is hard to believe that there are not more comments. Thank you so much
If I have a 10 sprocket cassette, I need to add the 1.8 mm spacer and buy a new 10 sprocket cassette or remove the cassette from my bike and use that one?
When connected my trainer shows a red light and there is no resistance ?
Does this product require a training app or can it be used passively?
My understanding is that you could, but it would just be like a "dumb" trainer with set resistance. You would not be able to use ERG mode or other "smart" features. I think if you were to pay $1,200 for a smart trainer, it would make more sense to use it with an app. 😎
Too much to tinker with! I think Kickr Snap is a better option specifically for busy people. You just need a trainer tyre to replace as the tyre wear and tear is too high with the Snap.
Just had to replace my 2020 KICKR v5 because it stopped sending power and cadence data after 3 years. Had to pay for a refurb for $250+shipping. Be warned!
Funny that you guys think that automatic update might be a good feature… I hate automatic update and it is the reason I’ve searched and bought a used one. There is no way I would get the v6 because of that. Else, you makes great products. Good video too.
Sorry for my poor English, but can you explain why autoupdate sucks?
First?
