Kim is a person who draws pictures all day. However, he said that the drawing is not boring. He say that it is easier to draw drawing when interviewing in Korea. He work observe the object for more than three hours.
I left my dream of drawing as a careers and let my parents choose my career, a 2 years ago I found Mr. Gi and start to look for drawing again and a few months ago my gf change her career and that was the point where I thought "it's now or never" and start drawing again, my goal it's to be concept artist
@@maksimcho. well I can say that I've improve, but still lacking some things, still working on my abilitys, there was so much to learn still, specially when you see that company's want you to know a ton lore things, but we are in the right way 😋
Nice video and really good artists. As for myself I have been featuring artists I love everyday on my facebook profile for the past weeks and we'll keep doing it!
Hey there! I love all of your videos, they're extremely helpful & inspiring! I was wondering, though, do you not tend to take a lot of influence from female artists? Just a bit curious as this industry definitely doesn't have a lot of lady representation. But in that regard: what are some of your favorite female artists?
Did you ever spend time at the forums over on Sijun back in the early 2000s? My biggest influence came from Craig Mullins (aka spoogedemon). When I think of speedpainting I think of him. He was so good at the time that It seemed like everyone was trying to copy his style. Man, I miss seeing his work. Anyhow, great list!
its a real pity that monthly inspirations isnt happening anymore, it was a great series! its so cool to see what other artists find inspiring because often, you havent heard of it yet. but i respect the decision, it seemed like a lot of work. if i ever make youtube videos, would it be okay to borrow the concept and do something similar? i just love the idea a lot. really interesting video by the way! i myself got inspired by your painting style a lot : >
If you wanna see HPX painting, try to get some footage of the Conceptart.org workshop in Prague. Must have been about 2005 and I think everything has been recorded. I've been completely transfixed seeing him working live - I've seen quite a lot of the people you've mentioned about your conceptart.org days live in Amsterdam and Prague but HPX -beside Marko - stayed in my mind because I#ve never seen someone so fast and "destructive" working with Photoshop.
Does anyone have any links to more of HPX-1's work? He has some pretty insane style, but I can't find much more than what he has on his antiquated website.
good list of creatives here, one critic would be not to try and surpass other peoples goals/concepts I think comparing and competing with other wont bring lasting happiness, as art is a creative flow from the individual mind through the nervous system through the pen or pencil and everyone that does this is equally divine Namaste.
I know this is not the right video to ask you this question but it's the latest video so i hope you can notice What is your setting for the dry brush and which size of canvas you usually use? Sorry for my oddly English XD
I feel like Kim Jung gi is another level. U not meant to get to his level. He is to be admired like Leonardo davinci, not aspired. Because his skill just almost beyond human capabilities
when people try to draw like Mr. Kim, I look down on them! and me trying to draw like that god does! patting my back! man, i've gotta give it up drawing like him, on the contrary gotta get inspired
DUUUUUUUUDE!!!! I was so crazy about Marko Djurdjevic! Like I remember as a young teenager seeing how he held a pencil and I hold it the same way to this day. Like I have been trying like crazy to find that video that he once sold about character creation.

Kim Jung Gi is disgustingly good. You could stare at one of his pieces for hours on end and not get bored.
