Thanks, it was a tight timescale due to the MOT being booked the following Friday. Would of been quicker in a garage on a lift, but I didn't have that !!
Hi, Great video! What was your process for aligning it with the cab still attached? I’m in a similar situation hard to get accurate diagonal measurements from the front chassis to rear with cab in way. Thanks.
Thanks, bolt the chassis to the body in all places, and take measurements to check it's square, then weld it all up. Everything went back on pretty easily tbh.
There was nothing wrong with it, that was easily repairable. Mine was a lot worse than that and I repaired mine completely fine without all the hassle you’ve had to go through!
You are of course correct, but my D2 is a long term keeper which I have already had for nealy 8 years, so rather than keep welding I did the job right.
Chassis was about £750, I had already purchased new drop links and Watts linkage. I bought a pr of ARB bushed for under a tenner. Labour cost me a slap up meal in Vegas !
Job well done, great amount of work done in the time period. Makes things so much easier having a decent jack and place to do the work

How much did it cost you all in?
