Saw it, sounded amazing...and then by luck the next song to autoplay was George Michael, Somebody to Love, from same concert I'm guessing...perfection!!!
@@retroreactions.... Yes, George Michael was also amazing. I honestly believe this to be possibly the most underrated concert of all time. You should also watch Italian singer Zucchero perform. His vocals are outstanding. And last but not least, do a quick search for the rehearsals (from this concert) you will like what you see. Thanks again, and glad you enjoyed Seal. ✌️ Best wishes from Belfast. NI 🙂
Another great artist in the fold! I saw Seal twice a number of years ago. I remember enjoying his live performance. “Crazy” and “Future Love Paradise “ are a couple of other must listens from this album.
LOVED this song from first release!! It was such a unique, danceable, rocking track in the soundscape of the early 90's - it was unlike the Eurodance sound, and the American hip-hop dance vibe - indeed, a Depeche Mode 'darkness' to it, then came Seal's voice - making it pure perfection!! Never get tired of this track!
Great jam....gotta see if he's performed it recently. I think I heard in a recent interview that he's touring the first 2 albums in their entirety! Speaking of, did you catch him perform Kiss from a Rose on Kelly Clarkson show a few weeks ago? If not here's the link. Simply devine! ua-cam.com/video/QvTl8OSMllQ/v-deo.html
Just a heads up mate the original of this song is by Adamski, Seal was the guest vocalist, it was a huge track here in the UK at the beginning of the acid house warehouse party scene. if memory serves the two of them later majorly fell out over rights to the song
Hi, yes I mention Adamski at the end of the video. This version here is actually Seal's re-recorded version for his 1991 album. I def need to hear the original with Adamski's music. I read that it is more techno...thanks
@@retroreactions.... ah I missed the very end because I much prefer adamski's version lol, it's much more early house music than this version, cool music video as well
@@retroreactions.... true, they were both basically street urchins that ended up with a record that sold millions , lawyers get involved and it all gets super ugly
I still remember vividly when I bought the CD of Seal's first album. It's one of the most perfect albums I've ever listened to! All songs are great (though my favorites are still "Crazy" and "Future Love Paradise"). But despite Seal's undisputable talent, the album wouldn't be the same without *Trevor Horn,* one of the world's most legendary producers (perhaps comparable only to Quincy Jones). Horn couldn't be hired, HE had to invite you to be produced by him, and he carefully handpicked with tiny tweezers those he would produce for (and record in his own label, Zang Tuum Tuum Records, or ZTT for short). It was invariably a match made in the heavens. (My suggestions among ZTT's other artists: a German technopop group called *Propaganda,* especially the album "A Secret Wish", where the most popular track is "Dr. Mabuse", but my favorite is "The Murder of Love"; *Frankie Goes to Hollywood,* of "Relax" fame, but they had much more than just that --- my favorite is the long "Welcome to the Pleasuredome"; and, of course, *Grace Jones'* legendary "Slave to the Rhythm", of which there are several totally different mixes and radio edits, so the version should be chosen with care.) George Michael recorded "Killer", too, and it's a great version as well, in an unlikely but surprisingly effective medley with "Papa Was a Rolling Stone". The latter was a big hit in the early 1970s with the Motown group The Temptations. I suggest you check out George Michael's version in your private time (there is a great video clip of it). Oh, and remember my Seal CD? I lent it over a weekend to a friend, and his girlfriend (later wife) decreed: "This CD won't be leaving this house. Buy a new one for Goytá." And that's what he did! 🤣This happened with two CDs I lent him, actually: the other was Peter Gabriel's "So", one of the greatest masterpieces of the 1980s, from which it's extremely hard to pick just one track. Jeez, what a perfect album!
I.c. dancing on 'sad' songs: in my younger years, this was perfectly normal. I, and many of my friends, have moved our bodies to and fro over a thousand times on the music of f.i. Joy Division, New Order, The Cure, et cetera. Years later, a band called The Wombats got it all right with the lyrics "let's dance to Joy Division and celebrate the irony: everything is going wrong but we're so happy!"
At first I thought it was a song called "Seal Killer", which I figured was a real downer -- you know, some guy with a bat wading in on a seal colony. Maybe a metal song. Then I realized. Cheers.
Killer is a killer song! Thank you Adamski and Seal for gracing me today, and thank you for watching❣️ 🥰
Seal performed (brilliantly) “Who Wants To Live Forever” at the Freddie Mercury Tribute Concert.
Wow, gotta watch that now!!
@@retroreactions.... It’s pretty outstanding. He performs the song along with the other members of Queen.
Thanks 🙏🏻

My favourite Seal song is "Violet", listen to its beautiful subtlety, you won't be disappointed.
Thanks, adding to list
@@retroreactions.... Would love to see you react to that one, it's a beautiful song!
Added your vote!
More Seal please, reactors. Under rated!
You have a favorite? I know his biggest songs. I already have votes for Future Love Paradise and Violet..
@@retroreactions.... there are no bad ones so those two, yes but think go to next album and do If I Could, duet with Joni Mitchell

Frankie Goes to Hollywood "Welcome to the Pleasure Dome" T(the long version) is a masterpiece !
Wow, didn't know that about Trevor. Thanks for the info and the suggestions. Glad you're a Seal fan!
"Prayer for the Dying" is my favourite too!

I can so relate! Danced to Depeche, The Cure, Morrissey, New Order, Cult, Siouxsie, Psych Furs etc many times in my younger days at the right clubs 😊
This song was in 1992 movie
' Gladiator ' with James Marshall Brian Dennehy Cuba Gooding very awesome 🥊🥊 underrated gem of a movie and soundtrack
Nice, def a 'killer' song! Thanks
This is Adamski’s creation. Somehow Seal retrospectively got credits.

Oh no!! I like dark songs, but wouldn't ever go that far haha....Have a nice day/night :)
Please check out his song ( Human beings)
Hello! I think we will be getting Human Beings on the channel tomorrow 😊
Not the original version.
