  • I know this is a time consuming way to do this but its been the only way thats always worked for me. Once you get it down its much quicker plus; I like to take stretch breaks or water breaks or whatever while its recording in real time. I hope this helps. REMEMBER TO SAVE YOUR BPM'S !!!!!!

    I have an Mpc 1000 and can’t figure out the midi on it either, so I developed a method to sync up all the tracks perfectly. I call it the template method, I should do a video on it. It was a life saver

      D Main Card Productions If you have the JJOs2XL then you can do it.

    Why not just get a small mixing console and you can record straight into your DAW on separate channels?

      Cant get the MPC and DAW to sync up. Just got frustrated and moved on after months of researching.

    Can u do this with the standard mpc 1000?

    • @nocturnalron69

      No, only with JJOS installed. Akai might have updated their system to do some of the new stuff but I’m not sure.

      @@nocturnalron69 Thanks for the video bro!
      I know this may be a basic question, but I couldn´t find the answer anywhere:
      If I made some beats on the 1000 with Free JJOS (3.16) and then I buy the JJOS2XL, are the beats made with the previous version still gonna be available (with everything in the same spot) with the JJOS2XL??
      I want to record my beats playing with track mutes in multi track, and in my version of the free JJOS (3.16) the mixing and outs is per pad and not per track. That´s the reason I want to get the paid version in order to be able to export 6 tracks or 5 at the same time. Thanks in advance brother!

      Hi @@mcruso333 , Yeah I would think the tracks wouldn't be there or the sounds might be off considering they are basically 2 different OS'. I would track them out if you can sync the tracks easily. If they don't sync you might have to line them up manually. Then buy the OS after you've transferred. I just got the MPC One which basically does all the same things the 1000 JJOS does. And the free DAW MPC version has all the same things too, but only 8 tracks to mess with. Not sure if I answered your question.

      @@nocturnalron69 thanks for the answer brother! You definitely answered it! Luckily I could record the tracks I had with the free JJ, I didnt knew something pretty basic. That the pads outs are set in each program (I thought that the outs where individual per pad), that way I didnt had to touch the beats too much to record them. I keep learning new things about the 1000 each day. Its a beast! (Or a God given machine 😀😎🙏🏼).
      Will definitely try the JJOS2XL in the future and Im sure the One is a dope machine as well! Peace bro! Thanks again for taking the time

    • @SirMalikCobra

      You need an interface for that.

    • @nocturnalron69
      @nocturnalron69  4 роки тому

      Got the interface but was never able to sync them both up together. Trust me, I've tried. So frustrating .

    • @nocomplysoldier
      @nocomplysoldier 4 роки тому

      @@nocturnalron69 You need a "midi sync interface"(inexpensive on Amazon) from the midi in and outs of your MPC to computer USB port (this syncs the midi only). No sound moves through this interface!
      Therefore you also need to run audio from L and R outputs on MPC and into an audio interface to carry/bring audio into your computer when the "midi interface" triggers it.
      I hope this helps and if you need links or have questions, feel free to ask

      @@nocomplysoldier thanks homie. Yeah I just gave up and have been doing it this way for years now. You lose a little quality when transferring and its also time consuming but it works. Just as long as there’s not a lot of sounds, doesn’t bother me though.

    • @nocturnalron69

      You can do both but you’d have to obviously convert to mono before tracking out.
