  • This is for the people who don't know how to mix down to a Wav file. I was surprised to find out a few of my friends didn't know about this function. I know its kind of a pain to record it in real time but, I usually need the break anyway.

      There is no mix down in free. Even if you could you can not save anything in free. Its always best to have JJOS2XL full version for saving tracks.

      Its very good, but I have not made time to learn it. I had trouble with Mixing Dwn since the original volume was loud, but the finished .wav was extremely low. I'm going to see if the problem is the Master Level. It is the most likely case. I'll keep you posted on anything else I come across that are helpful like if you hold down tap tempo when trimming a sample its twice as fast. TTYL

    Hi thanks for video. I got mpc1000 with a free jjos, which doesn't have mixdown function. I currently just play my track on the song mode to record it live on my audacity. Some files have weird particularly to not sound right on every devices. Example : if I play from my phone to a Bluetooth speaker, some of my tracks will literally have either the bass or kicks missing, but not if I play on headphones. This issue stop me to share my music as I feel it just could sound crap depending on devices. Do you think to go for jjos2xl and mixdown function would sort my issue? What's best way to record your track to wav when you have free jjos? Many thanks

      if you got jjos it would probably solve a lot of ur problems but if you just record from the headphone jack into audacity it probably would solve this issue.

    Is there any differences of the quality between the mix down output vs.the actual output "straight out of MP"?

    • @nocturnalron69
      @nocturnalron69  5 років тому +1

      Hey Michael. Yeah, whenever you mix down to a wav in this OS it seems to be a very low copy therefore having to normalize or turn the volume way up, so if you can go directly in Id rather do that if I could. I just gave up trying to figure it out. - Ron

      @@nocturnalron69 you’re going to want to always bounce down to a wav out of the mpc1000, because going out the mpc audio converters will convert the signal from digital to analog. Then, your interface or sound card will be converting from analog to digital going into a computer. This is two generations of needless conversions that will have a drastic impact on the overall sound. It’s best to bounce down and then use some sort of clip gain/comp/limiting to pull
      the level up in the box. Remember, low volume can easily be fixed, the thing you have to worry about is too much volume. If you don’t leave yourself enough head room, it can be difficult or impossible to master.

    • @nocturnalron69
      @nocturnalron69  5 років тому

      Peter70011 Yo Peter ,only think I can think of is record it from either your headphone jack, straight into a computer, or the left and right outs from the back of the MpC. That’s the only way you can get the songs without the mixdown function. Is it to expensive now to get the full version? It’s really worth it for this reason alone. But I know he charges more now.

      @nocturnalron69  6 років тому

      Hey Diddddumm
      No they don't. The guy who made it only made it available for the 1000 and 2500. The story is he used to work for Akai in Japan but they dicked him over so when he left he only had the blueprints for the two mpc's and made his own OS.
