I was using a 7' MH Daiwa TD SOL. www.tackledirect.com/daiwa-td-sol-inshore-spinning-rods.html I have a couple that I've been using for about a year and have been happy with them for the price. Not the lightest rod ever, but nice and sensitive and well built. It's held up well to my abuse haha
We use a couple of GoPros (Hero 10 and 11) as well as a Panasonic Lumix GH5. It takes really nice shots, but the autofocus is not great so it can be a pain to film solo without someone behind the camera. But I really like Panasonics build quality and usability. I'd like to upgrade to the Lumix S5II as some point if funds ever allow haha. Sounds like they really improved the autofocus and full frame would be nice for low light.
Depends where you are on the coast my friend. We call them rockfish or Stripers where I am. Just like redfish vs red drum, depends where you are on the map.
Love it! I sail on the Chester River and just started to learn how to fish. still no idea what im doing. fun videos!!!!
Great video, patience paid off! Good clean fun! Kudos for the trash removal.
