I just found this channel three days ago. Fancy seeing you here, I've been following you for about a year and a half or so. Enjoy watching you learn and grow you're doing great as far as I can tell. Now I'm going to go watch this guy do his thing.
his how to make preserved lemons and build all of your tools to do so video was recommended to me and now i'm obligated to watch every other video out of pure admiration
"If I've missed anything, then. ..that's not very surprising!" I love this channel. Always, and I mean Always is entertaining and leaves me smiling. Beautiful piece mate. And I'm happy to see you still have the Pigeon upside down. Cheers.
Using a foot powered scroll saw.... Amazing.... I've seen some... Never saw one working though. Let alone BEING USED FOR ACTUAL WORK..... Nobody even uses scroll saws anymore, or so it seems. I have several. I think they're fun... Very useful tool... Anyways well done!
I love the mid-eastern style you gave the handle and sheath with their fittings, and the chain was a nice touch (which I've actually seen incorporated on the sheath of a Spanish style dagger I once had). It has a great warmth to it in color, character, and style. Steve also did a beautiful job on the blade. Your styles and approaches made for a great and entertaining collaboration to watch. Thanks for sharing
Very well done work... My wife has inherited a Singer sewing machine of the same variety, foot-powered. The sewing machine is complete but has been visited by a "hobby expert" and you have to use a lot of force to get it to sew, even after careful lubrication and care. I intend to use it for such a saw as Uri has, I just have to persuade my wife first. We take care of the machine and the plate, now the desire to make the saw is ignited again. So it will be to pray nicely and to reassure that it is possible to assemble everything again should she wish to do so :)
They think it is a weapon pf masdestruction, do not like his acent, might youst have had a bad day and some dislike things they do not find interesting rather than what they think is bad. To be honest ther are a multitude of reasons. And im sure you disliked a video and somone who liked it thought how could somone dislike this?
The current bid is $560 USD, and there's almost five days left on the auction. I expect this will go north of $1,000 before it's closed. Awesome work by both of you. I hope you collaborate again in the future.
Another awesome video. Thanks for showing us the process, warts and all! I loved the "clamp removal re-enactment", your humour level is pushing on This old Tony's. Great to see you getting some use out of your handmade jigsaw!
Beautiful job Uri (as always), your personal touch and the work you did complimented that blade beautifully 👌 Excellent work both Steve and Uri, that knife, with it's handle and scabbard, is a thing of beauty. Top job, both of you 😀👍
The detail in your work is at the top of my chart. Thank you for showing your work on this knife. You have a gift and I hope to see many more videos from you.
I started this video last night and followed instructions to watch Green Beetle's video first. Way cool make, and an awesome channel too, but for my tastes not as compelling as Uri tends to be. A fascinating persona, no doubt about that. I can't help but find myself smiling while watching Uri do thing.
Was just watching this again and it would be good to see more collaborations. Perhaps with Alec Steele (an ideal candidate because there’s some overlap with your skills), where you swap roles i.e. Alec working on a project with minimum modern tooling and you working on another using all the modern tooling he has in his workshop. It’d be interesting to see where the creativity flows when time is less of a factor e.g. proper lathes, plasma cutters, mills, etc. freeing you up from spending what is probably a lot of time, doing the more practical aspects like cutting out intricate shapes by hand/sewing machine, shaping, etc. It would leave far more time for extravagance of design/creativity.
Hi, Very nice to see your work. And I like the way you do it too.. And the human quality you show explaining why you like the way of work of green beetle. Sorry for my poor english. Congratulations.
Great work, Uri, and the end result looks great! I am still amazed by your level of detail. I know what you mean when you speak about your limitations for now, but you are already way up there! Thanks for sharing!
Excellent work as always Uri 👍 Clickspring , Uri and Fireball tools all in one morning and i watched Mr Beetle make a blade from guitar strings yesterday
Uri you like Nick Zammeti are two of the best makers I know of, well I got too many favorite maker mentors to make a list but you are on the high part of the list. Anyway you like Nick give me a lot of inspiration, I know I'll never come close to your chisel skil but I can try with a rotary bit to make decent engravings. You are top notch and no mistake.
What a wonderful collaboration between two great artists. I went over and checked out his channel and you're right it's really amazing thank you BTW you're my favorite😉
Beautiful job, as usual. My only criticism (and it's a very small one) is that you didn't line the inside of the scabbard with felt or leather or something. A tiny thing, but it would protect the blade.
You can drill straight through hardened steel without reheating to soften by using a masonry drill bit they have carbide tips that will drill through hardened steel but you may go through a couple per hole
Hi Uri! I enjoyed your video very much, especially your sense of humor. That engraving looks fun; I would like to try it. Thank you for the video. Take care.
Uri, you are one of my favorites to watch! You may not be an expert but your getting there and your fun to watch too. You have inspired me to try my hand at doing some metal carving myself. I'll start with a simple design such as the swirl leaves. What do you think? My favorite is the hammer. Just gorgeous! Perhaps one day we can collaborate on a project. My area is with wood and hope to branch out into metal. Perhaps an inlay for one of my knife handles? Take care Uri, and keep being you!
Hello, Uri, I'm just admiring your scroll saw. I'm sure you made it yourself - right? Maybe you will find some time that you can introduce us briefly, especially the mechanics. Thank you for your attention and all the best for your upcoming projects.
Thanks, my friend! It looks fantastic.
Good friend*
Green Beetle right! You guys did a awesome job! Now I need to convince my wife that we need to buy it... it’s for charity.

B C …
You prove one doesn't need a giant shop filled with expensive tools to make great things. I'm truly glad I found your channel. Thank you for sharing.
The day Uri makes a coo coo clock, my life will be complete
😍
Or a cuckoo clock.
This Persian Karud knife looks fabulous ... very well done.
It still kills me how you just made a bandsaw out of a sewing machine... That's extreme talent.
It has a buffer on it now... I wish he would have made a build video on it.
Thanks!
Dunno if it matters but that's a scroll saw, cheers.
That’s a scroll saw isn’t it?
Scroll saw bandsaw same thing lol..

It doesn't get any better than a foot operated band saw, forge and 2 craftsman, for a fantastic collaboration
I'm Persian bro and you made a nice one good job friend...
I have no skills in these areas, but I absolutely appreciate good craftsmanship. Love watching your videos. Thanks for the enjoyment!
Uri you are to modest and humble, Some times less is more.Your energy is intoxicating. Thanks for sharing

Potato salad bowl would be a nice project for paper weight. Awesome as always. Thank you.
I love seeing my favourite UA-camrs collaborate like this!
Absolutely amazing work! Both you and Steve made a piece of art.

Fascinating! All your videos are wonderful, you make beautiful “scultures” with your hands!! Congratulations!!
Absolutely fanastic creation.. there is more than a JOB... it's a piece of art....Congrats..
Grettings from Spain...
Who can dislike this video there's nothing wrong there just jealous of his amazing talent, by the way like his video guys he deserves it
No, they're not jealous, they're just antisemitic...

Australian lol
its not a karud its a kyber knife. i dislike
I disliked the use of glue. It really transformed the knife into one of those cheap tourist souvenirs.

It's a bit to breit... 🤣😂 got me with this. Supertolle Arbeit!!! Der Messing-Papst war wieder tätig!!!
watching a master in his profession work always make it seem easy like that everyone could do it. THAT is true mastery.

Nice project. Its always fun watching your Videos. Thumbs up.
Excellent work both of you. The clamping pins are a nice touch, keeps that old world feel in mind. I wish I wasn't broke!
You are a real artist..

Uri, looks fantastic! I'm glad you and Beetle did this collaboration so I could find your channel.
Hi,
Very nice to see your work. And I like the way you do it too.. And the human quality you show explaining why you like the way of work of green beetle. Sorry for my poor english.
Congratulations.
came here from Green Beetle. Awesome
Great looking finish on these. Nice shape to the scabbard. Looks menacing!
Really beautiful. You both do amazing work!!!
Great work, Uri, and the end result looks great! I am still amazed by your level of detail. I know what you mean when you speak about your limitations for now, but you are already way up there! Thanks for sharing!
So great to see another video from you! I always love how much more of the process you show than some other channels.
I love the way to do everything by hand,
sets you apart from the rest
Excellent work as always Uri 👍
Clickspring , Uri and Fireball tools all in one morning and i watched Mr Beetle make a blade from guitar strings yesterday
Nice, I like that you went with the plane scabbard, I think it highlights the work on the handle.
Absolutely LOVED the engraving section of the video. That stuff blows me away. Well in sir.

Clamp-removal reenactment.. Those were some powerful clamps! Lol.. Love your work Uri! I subscribed
Beautiful work. Thanks for sharing.
Amazed to your skill and dedication when you do a project. Love your projects. Keep-up.
What a wonderful collaboration between two great artists. I went over and checked out his channel and you're right it's really amazing thank you BTW you're my favorite😉
A collab between Uri and Green Bettle? Amazing!!
Beautiful job, as usual. My only criticism (and it's a very small one) is that you didn't line the inside of the scabbard with felt or leather or something. A tiny thing, but it would protect the blade.
My thoughts, too. I always thought a scabbard had an oiled liner so that the blade was protected from rust while inside.
wood can't harm or scratch a metal blade, right?
@@georgemac4224 I was thinking more about keeping it sharp.
Very nice as always, heading over to check out the the Green bettle
You’re perfect! Don’t change a thing. Keep on making stuff!!
You can drill straight through hardened steel without reheating to soften by using a masonry drill bit they have carbide tips that will drill through hardened steel but you may go through a couple per hole
Beautiful work.
I really like your work, your humour! Greetings from France!

Looks like it was made in classic times.
That was some impressive work with chisels.
That bandsaw is awesome
Love how the scabbard turned out.
