The wood behind the metal truck is genius. As soon as I saw you using it behind the saw blade I knew why. Thank you for sharing that, I can’t wait to keep my own ears from exploding.
Uri, your accent is so nice; it gives the videos that little special touch. As always, this is a really good quality video; keep up the good and wholesome work ^^
Since starting to watch your videos I've started wood caring and engraving I'm a leather Smith so I had a feel for it but thank you for inspiring me sir cheers from Rosenberg texas USA
I'm really happy that I've inspired you to take on carving and engraving, I definitely believe that leather smiting has a lot in common. Perhaps I'll give it a go one day too.
This guy. One of the nicest most sincere and down to earth people on You Tube. I always find myself watching with a smile And I'm not surprised at all he counts two cats as his friends, and they I'm sure do with him
Beautiful! When you want to glue clamp odd-shaped pieces, use strips cut from bicycle inner tubes. Make long strips as wide as you need them; pull the rubber as you wrap it and leave an initial tail sticking out so you can tie the ends together. The successive wraps create incredible tension, and the glue won't stick to the rubber. Guitar makers have been using this technique for many years now to glue binding into its channel. Cheers and be well!
C'mon Uri, your intros are excellent. Less editing out the dry humour, its enjoyable...ok now I'll enjoy the upload. ;-) How you hewed that hand form is incredible...THE OUTRO ROCKED TOO
IMO I think that that design you used for the saw backing fits so well because the way you sculpt that hand out of wood really reminds me of catholic relics or things like sculptures from a church. Idk but I really do love it.
I don't know if the UA-cam algorithm has changed recently but it's been suggesting some really great channels to me over the last couple of weeks, one of which is yours! You have the weirdest ideas. And I love them. Great videos, Uri, look forward to more videos from you!
You’ve inspired me to spend more time on my homemade tools. If I’m making heirlooms they should look like it. Plus they’re a pleasure to use if they’re fancy dancy
What I really appreciate: you are not only a great artist who makes things nice - you also know about your tools, how they should work and how they should be used! How you sharpen that old sawblade: chapeau!!!
When doing electrolytic rust removal, I find I get really good results if: 1. The surface area of the part to be treated is less than the piece hooked to the other lead. 2. All the surfaces that you want treated can directly "see" the piece hooked to the other lead. Sometimes, that means you have to change the orientation od your part several times. I hope this helps you if you need to do this again!
I love your videos! I groaned a little when I watched you cut the thumb off (it looked painful), but it's just wood. You're full of more talent than I'll ever have, my friend! I love your channel!
I've sat quiet watching your videos for too long . I am amazed how inspiring your videos are to watch. Such patients, artistry, skill, and craftsmanship. Thanks I'm truly impressed.
seriously under rated your channel is my man!! I love the honesty, the tribulation and the fact you show all parts of the build. From thought process, through material acquisition, wins and losses as well as adding in that much needed humour in a video like this. Keep up the great work !!
I like these videos so much. Uri is one of the few craftsmen, who work with hand tools. And he also shows how to make your own tools. But he's quite unique, because of his aesthetic approach. Simple tools like gouge or hammer turns into masterpiece. As a amateur kitchen-table violin maker, I would love to have a workshop full of that beautiful things to work with.
Your attention to detail, skills and unique approach are a breath of fresh air. Beautiful work, executed with charm and honesty. Kudos for recycling and using minimum machine tools..true craftsmanship.
Have u ever felt like euh ...... when you sawing something , u kind of shaking hands with the saw ? . . . . . . . . just a genius introduction from a genius guy !!
One thing you may have considered is to bring the blade in center with your arm, rather than in the center of the piece itself (so in this case, the blade would have been closer to the wooden hand's wrist). This should preserve force better in the front-back motion, for a smoother sawing experience (that may also explain some of the wobble you mentioned)
Uri, You are one of the most talented makers on youtube! I hope your channel continues to grow by leaps and bounds! Thank you for the great, entertaining content!
hahaha that's awesome! All your videos are so much fun, I love them. One can see how you develop your skills and projects over time. I love your sense of humour in the things you create and the videos you make. It's so uniquely refreshing to me. Thank you and keep us in the loop with whatever you do next!
I saw a handy man hand-saw a hand with a hand-handle handsaw. Pretty 13:37 .
A very handsome handy man too, if i may add
he carved another hand just for that ... wow veeeery nice! :DD
Besides electric drills nothing machine driven very pure to watch
the clap dude! lol 14:20
You saw a handsome handy man hand-saw a handmade hand with a handmade hand-handle handsaw.
love it! thank you
Shoot we got the big guys here
My favourite part of your channel is that you use almost no electric tools
He uses drill tho
But that doesn't make him a less skilled man
He's extremely skilled
He uses his brains.
. Big part of it
You can count brain for n electric tool
Nerves
I bet, as you were commenting this he was building his lathe.
The wood behind the metal truck is genius. As soon as I saw you using it behind the saw blade I knew why. Thank you for sharing that, I can’t wait to keep my own ears from exploding.
Slice to meet you
Juanito Mendoza you can leave now
Sawty to say goodbye
Your videos are a breath of fresh air...

You make such cool things! Really like your videos!
The pitted steel looks awesome against the new shiny brass. I prefer the contrast it has rather than new shiny steel. Beautiful job Uri. ✋
There's a fine line between genius and madness. You dance gleefully along it.
Amazing craftsmanship!
Also love the "skills over gear" approach
Is this how it was when friends were watching Leo da Vinci create???? Thank you for this excelent video!!!!
Since starting to watch your videos I've started wood caring and engraving I'm a leather Smith so I had a feel for it but thank you for inspiring me sir cheers from Rosenberg texas USA

My good friend it is a crime that more people do not watch your wonderful projects.
Beautiful work, beautiful person ☺🍃
One of the nicest most sincere and down to earth people on You Tube.
I have to admit I am smitten by his humanity
I learnt something new about wood, dampening the "high pitch" noise from sawing thin sheet. Thank you, sir!
Artistic abilities are very wide in application and very high in quality
The pigeon logo is great, but I love the idea of putting it upside down on each piece you craft.
One of my fav channel
This guy. One of the nicest most sincere and down to earth people on You Tube.
I always find myself watching with a smile
And I'm not surprised at all he counts two cats as his friends, and they I'm sure do with him
The handsaw that shakes back, gold finish.

This saw is a nightmare for a left handed person lol.
Awesome craftsmanship!

I sharpen my own handsaws. A good saw set would be a good investment.
Was just turned on to this channel because of your collab with rex Krueger, amazing work!!
Looks elegant. That 'wood behind the sheet metal' tip when filing was great, never considered that!
I love your wooden creations with chisel, in college we're going to start doing them too and I'm very excited to start
IMO I think that that design you used for the saw backing fits so well because the way you sculpt that hand out of wood really reminds me of catholic relics or things like sculptures from a church. Idk but I really do love it.
Someone give him a award "artist of the year"!!
Loved everything about this video. The only thing that could make it better, is if I could actually smell the sawdust!!!
The happy mistakes teach us also. Thank you for leaving them in the video. Your work is beautiful and your ideas are unique.
i love your endings, your videos follow a great format. After a fun video they almost always end with a nice funny ending.
when it comes to him, it isn’t “why”
but “why not”

Great videos, Uri, look forward to more videos from you!
Opens the possibility that the saw could use you.
A modern Leonardo da Vinci... Uri, not the hand saw (hand saw, heh).
Thanks! This is the greatest compliment I could have wished for.
@@urituchmanpigeon your variety and skills with hand and eye is matched only by your slightly off, quirky presentation. Peace.
Leonard of Quirm was left-handed...
You’ve inspired me to spend more time on my homemade tools. If I’m making heirlooms they should look like it. Plus they’re a pleasure to use if they’re fancy dancy
The saw looks SuPeR dELiCioUS

These weird projects are why I subscribed to your channel. Keep up the bizarre work.
Absolutely brillant. End credits with 80s song... hilarious.

I am so impressed with the finished saw. You have such a good grasp of form, and shape, it’s amazing.
I've sat quiet watching your videos for too long . I am amazed how inspiring your videos are to watch. Such patients, artistry, skill, and craftsmanship. Thanks I'm truly impressed.
I like that he put his logo on upside down on purpose
That's a lovely chicken

It's unique, just like you 😆 Fabulous.
Great videos, great work, great accent, and great style.
That will always be your right hand saw. Nice video. I enjoy your work.
Surrealist woodworking, awesome!
You are a brilliant carver and wood worker
Dude knows how to sharpen a saw.
That is absolutely ridiculous, but I love it. Nicely done.
You are the master, very funny and autenthic person, nice handle saw!!
Your personality reminds me of Bobby Duke Arts. I love it
I don't crack up much, but you crack me up.
Many artists: hands suck, I avoid them whenever I can.
Other artist: now this looks like a good excuse to make a hand!
So entertaining...especially the song 😄 love your work!
Amazing!! Great talent and great humour!
I wish I had talent like yours Uri. So that I'll make a friend through carving and engraving...
My favorite video in years, great job. Love your sense of humor. Thanks.
another excellent project. Well done.
Thoroughly enjoyed this video! Keep up the great work, gave me a good chuckle.
I enjoyed watching you work, you have an artist eye, good sense of humor. I would have named it the hand in handsaw.

Nice build! White Vinegar makes a good rust remover, haven't tried electrolysis personally.
Loved the humor!
Your attention to detail, skills and unique approach are a breath of fresh air. Beautiful work, executed with charm and honesty. Kudos for recycling and using minimum machine tools..true craftsmanship.

A digilectamy, fine operation success. You really had a handle on this one.
