My story , stroke at 42, blood pressure in ER was 230/200. Good recovery some residual effects. For me , no processed food, only whole food-mostly steak, chicken , nuts, seeds and limited fruits and vegetables.May take months , for me 6months, today I’m 122/79. Avoid anything not made by nature.

My BP was 155/92 over two weeks ago. I cut out salt, processed sugar, coffee and started daily 15-30 minutes of cardio whether it’s a run or walk. I only ate the Mediterranean diet so porridge with some fruit every morning, salads with fish every lunch and a roasted veggies with fish or chicken for dinner. Lots of olive oil. I also tried some sauna sessions and switched to BP lowering herbal teas like redbush & camomile. I took readings every day. Not much change in the first week, getting around 140/85 average but the second week is where I started to see the work pay off with readings around 125/80. In my third week now I’m at 112/69. Stress is a factor yes but I’m in a stressful job and still got my BP down by 40 points. From my experience the changes in diet and daily exercise made the improvements in lowering BP. I noticed the biggest dips an hour after cardio.

Cardio generally reduces blood sugar and BP temporarily, but may improve it over time. In any case it's become an essential activity for health. Keep it moderate or brief if strenuous or u release stress hormone which prevents weight loss. Walking is better if much overweight.

Within less than 6 months lost 40 lbs, off blood pressure meds and my blood sugar normalized. I read your response and it has agreed with some other advice I have been looking into. I'm 62, don't drink or smoke, have exercised all my life but... I have been eating wrong. Orange juice, granola cereal, too many carbs, etc. All in all my sugar/insulin levels are probably too high and it's increasing my blood pressure. So, addressing your lifestyle/advice I am also getting off the sugar and processed foods, (like many of the breads we buy). My weight is about the same as when I was in college, (205) but my waste is a few inches larger, (due to the insulin/sugar in my diet). I will also cut back to smaller portions and vs only 1 or 2 meals a day. I don't think just eating one large meal a day balances out as well as two or three small meals, (but whatever works for each person). Glad it worked for you and I'm sure it will work for me. Thanks for your post!

Well done. I got to follow your method. Biggest struggle is quitting sugar as everything i love to eat contains it. Everything... Two days ago, my BP hit 164 for the first time and I felt the pressure on my heart. From that, said "f it" to mostly everything and went BACK to the gym, start drinking garlic water, green tea, oolong tea, and sticking to chicken and veg. I checked my BP today and it measured 138. It's still very high and I think my body was on relax mode, so I got to stick to my new routine no matter what.
I've seen the worse of my body and I don't like it. When you have one problem, many other comes in rapid dominoes. Now I want to see what the HEIGHT of my body is like so that means it's time to lose lots of weight and have a good balance diet. I'm tired of being unfit due to my current lifestyle. No more.

My blood pressure was at the top of the upper normal range and I was put on meds years ago. I have tried all your suggestions. I did eventually get my pressure down to normal but I still take a very low dose of one BP med which I am now trying to eliminate. To show you how different people are I will briefly tell you what did and did not work for me. The first thing I tried was regular heavy cardio for many months and amazingly it DID NOT affect my BP at all! I then restricted salt, caffeine and alcohol significantly with only mild results, almost not worth the effort. I then changed my meds numerous times with only one new drug being effective but I discontinued it because of severe and unacceptable side effects. Then I tried yoga and meditation which had only mild effects. Finally I realized that my real problem was STRESS, my reaction to stressful situations and my natural tendency to be a prefectionist and a worry wart! Being aware of this and changing by behavior helped significantly and my BP had been pretty good for a long time now. I still exercise and eat well. I aim to eliminate the med completely due to what I believe is the damage it does to the body. Thanks for your video.

throughout my 20s I ate alot of savoury foods I was a big meat eater and love fast food and snacks, got to a point in my 30s where I'm happy in my career and got too comfortable, 4 weeks ago I went to San Francisco for a holiday (originally live in the UK) after a usual big meal I felt like I was floating and couldnt feel my legs and arms as well as my vision got extra blurry as if nothing is real. Fast forward to the UK I started having palpitations for every meal I had, then chest pains then dizziness. Turns out my cholesterol was high, took my BP and the highest was 160/110 I felt like dying. So I switched to a Mediterranean diet, eating fish mostly, fruits and veggies that are heart healthy. My BP went down from my usual 130/80 to 110/74 in 3 weeks. I am slowly adding working out mainly cardio. I was on blood pressure medication for over a decade and I was getting sicker, and my doctor was telling me what to eat and I was gaining weight and getting sicker and they would just give me more meds. Eventually, I started studying nutrition because I was basically dying And I stopped eating green products and highly processed foods and sugary fruit and starch. Come on my doctor had me eating oatmeal and a smoothie every day with a yogurt and a banana and an apple which is a ridiculous amount of sugar. So I stopped eating carbs basically and processed food And within about three months my blood pressure was fine so I started weaning myself off the meds and it’s been two years now and I have the blood pressure of a healthy 20 year-old at 55 years old and after that I lost a bunch of weight and I’ve had problems with my liver and my thyroid and that’s all gone now I have no signs of any disease in my body, I just took my blood pressure and it’s 119/69. I’ve gotten rid of all my medication‘s. Basically processed food and the way they tell us to eat excessive amounts of sugar and starches and grain products is basically poisoning us, and there are literally thousands and thousands of people out there but the medical industry attacks them in the pharmaceutical industry attacks them and pharmaceutical industry owns all the medical associations and training facilities And peer reviewed publish studying associations and organizations and they don’t teacher doctors nutrition and they have no clue what they’re doing including those that call themselves nutritionist and they’re telling us to eat garbage. I’ve been eating that way for two years now and I still have no signs of any disease in my body. I’m not deficient in any nutrients And the only thing my doctor can find wrong with me with the comprehensive blood test is my LDL cholesterol is a little high, but if you study cholesterol and heart disease, LDL cholesterol is not bad cholesterol does not cause heart disease it damage to cholesterol that causes heart disease And it’s not the cholesterol it’s the lipid protein cells that transport it. They get damaged and caused the heart disease and they get damaged by the seed oils and the toxins in the grain products and processed food chemicals and oxidative stress from eating too much sugar and they tell us to eat about 10 to 15 times the amount of sugar every day that we should ever eat in a day. The carbohydrate is not a nutrient. It’s just a measurement of sugar in the food And we shouldn’t be eating that much and carbs aren’t the same and they keep telling us all this food is super food or healthy and it’s not. They’re just lying to us to sell us crappy food that is very profitable and easy for them to produce like potatoes and apples and bananas And all the sugary fruit and starchy vegetables, those things sell really well because they’re loaded with sugar and they’re genetically modified and didn’t even exist. A few hundred years ago, what we call an apple is not an apple those little sour crab apples or what an apple is supposed to be they just genetically modified it to where it’s got tons of sugar in it now and taste good and it’s huge and pretty, but it also causes massive amounts of oxidative stress and the nutrients in it are pretty much non-bioabsorbable and it’s garbage food. It’s basically candy now, same with bananas, peaches, watermelon almost everything. There are some low sugar, fruits, avocado, and tomato being the best but you can eat a little strawberry or raspberry or blueberry but you don’t want to do it every day like the government and medical associations. Tell you just have it periodically and give yourself a few days to recover and have small amounts like a quarter of a cup or one or two strawberries or the occasional slice of watermelon but we just sit there and eat tons of the crap and they tell us to eat something like 300 carbs per day that’s ridiculous I need about 20 or 30 at most. And I’m not missing any nutrients my doctor thinks I’m crazy for eating this way, but he runs my blood and everything is pretty much perfect and not just in the healthy ranges on the optimal side of all the healthy ranges and there’s nothing he can suggest to improve my diet other than he wants to lower my cholesterol, but Cholesterol doesn’t cause heart disease it’s damaged, lipid proteins cells from all the sugar and the grain products in the process food and when you eliminate these things that caused the inflammation and oxidative stress magically 95% of disease goes away because 95% of what we called disease as a reaction to excessive amounts of oxidative stress and inflammation caused by the crap we eat. I had two friends that were married and they both have extremely high blood pressure and are on all kinds of meds and I got them to start eating this way, and the same thing about four or five months later they were able to quit their meds and their blood pressure was fine and their doctors out there teaching this but the main stream establishment controlled the big Pharma doesn’t like to tell people this stuff because if everybody started eating this way, 90% of doctors would have to go find another job because we wouldn’t be sick enough to need them also most of the pharmaceutical, and if she would go away because most of the meds don’t really work and they just treat symptoms but never cure you. There are a few drugs out there that actually work, but things like statins are a joke, most of the hormones and stuff we take or just treating symptoms that we could easily cure by not eating garbage and the doctors that treat people by changing their diet to eat this way cure about 8990% of their patients get them off the drugs completely and wish them well in life because they’re now healthy and don’t have disease in their body. Your average doctor just keeps writing prescriptions and having you come in every few months to verify you still have your disease which pretty much always will if you follow traditional medicine because they don’t tear it, they just medicate it.
Your blood pressure is not supposed to be low all the time your body will jack it up when it needs to flow more blood and that’s normal your blood pressure supposed to be taken at rest. In fact, when they do the testing to set the standards, they have people sit in a dark room Breathing deeply coming down for about 15 to 20 minutes before they take their blood pressure that’s when 120/80 is optimal and that number is wrong normal blood pressure is between 120/80 and 140/90. That’s the normal range, but eight or 10 years ago I don’t remember it they just revised the standard so they can put people on more medication‘s and there’s no clinical data that shows blood pressure up to 140 is dangerous. They just moved the bar so they could call that hypertensive but you said have to be over 140 to be hypertensive and when you read the clinical data, the healthiest people normally test closer to 140 than 120 and if your blood pressure is 140/90 you’re fine and you’re well with a normal ranges, but they just change the standard so they could sell us meds and when you look at the clinical data, the people with blood pressure in the high 130s are fine and in fact, die at a lower rate and have less heart disease than people with lower blood pressure but the company selling us the drugs are the companies telling us what normal is and they pick and choose little parts of the study and twist it into a sales tool, but when you read the data, it’s clear your LDL cholesterol can go up to something like 180 and the people with slightly elevated LDL cholesterol die less and get less heart disease but they don’t tell doctors that and the doctors don’t read the data they just do what the pharmaceutical companies tell them to do which is call LDL bad cholesterol and if it’s over 100 prescribe Staten so they get $10-$20,000 a year per patient subsidized by the government. It’s a scam and if you read the actual clinical data meet help secure heart disease you need plenty of salt need to stay away from the oatmeal and the sugary fruits like your doctor tells you to eat and the grain products and processed food as a joke. Even the stuff market is health food and everybody should just stop eating it and even if people just stop eating processed food you get rid of probably 75% of our disease and the need for these huge expensive pharmaceutical and medical industries.

Hacking in the term of using your blood pressure meter for bio feedback and learning how to calm yourself is good but the truth is if you can do that and fix your blood pressure you never had high blood pressure. Your doctor was just measuring it wrong or you were measuring it at the wrong time can we go sit in a dark room and relax for about 15 or 20 minutes? Breathe through your nose And distress, that’s what your blood pressure is during the day it may skyrocket make up 250 or 160 but that’s normal because your body increases your blood pressure when it needs to when it needs the blood to flow faster and distribute more oxygen and remove the depleted oxygen. If you’re out there running or working hard your blood pressure is never gonna be that low and if it is, you’re gonna get sick really quick because your blood pressure isn’t supposed to always be 120/80 at rest when you’re calm and relaxed is when your true blood pressure comes out and if it’s 120/80 at that point then you’re fine when you go to your doctors and you’re all nervous and your blood pressure shoots up to 140 or 150 it’s not a problem that’s what it supposed to do that’s normal but most doctors and nurses don’t even know how to take blood pressure. If you read the guidelines are you supposed to sit in the dark room for 15 minutes and relax first and I’ve never been at a doctors office he does that they always rush you in and throw the cuff on your arm and take your blood pressure and that’s always gonna make it much higher and I don’t think that’s an accident. I think they train them to do that, so they get false. Hi readings to sell drugs.
So if you can use your mind to fix your blood pressure, you never had high blood pressure and you never should’ve been on meds. Your doctor just didn’t tell you how to take your blood pressure correctly and if you ever bother to read how they establish those guidelines you would’ve realized you need to sit in a dark room for 15 to 20 minutes and relax and breathe to allow your blood pressure to normalize to get your true blood pressure if you just walk in the doctors office and they take it they’re taking it wrong and it will always be high unless you’re just naturally incredibly relaxed around your doctors office. But the truth is almost nobody has blood pressure that low when the doctors take it they just don’t like to tell you that because they’re taught to write prescriptions and most of them don’t know what they’re doing because they’ve been trained wrong. I never questioned their training. But if you can fix your blood pressure without changing your diet, you’re just learning to relax you’re not fixing your blood pressure. It was already fine and it wasn’t actually high in the first place you were just taking it during a time when you’re stressed and active and it should’ve been higher because that’s how your body works and hacking is basically relaxing or learning to relax and that’s how they’re supposed to take blood pressure anyway to get you to relax and calm down and destress and breathe deeply and then take your blood pressure but that’s not how they do it because that doesn’t sell drugs.
When you were talking about going to the gym and coming home and your blood pressure shoot up to 155, that’s what it supposed to do. Your blood pressure is not always supposed to be at a relaxed state as your body is working and needs more oxygen. Your blood needs to pump faster And when it pumps faster your blood pressure reading is going to go up you’re not supposed to take your blood pressure at that time it’s supposed to sit down and relax for 15 or 20 minutes and calm down and let it normalize because when you’re out running around or you’re in a meeting and you’re stressed and dealing with things, your blood pressure supposed to go up Now if it shoots up to 190 you’ve got a problem. Mine needs to go up to over 180 and even relaxing. I would be lucky to get it down to 150 but that’s because I was eating garbage and had actual heart disease. If you’re just measuring your blood pressure after you go to the gym, that’s not high blood pressure. That’s normal blood pressure because your blood pressure isn’t steady it fluctuates based on physical activity and mental stress and things like digesting food and depending on what kind of food you eat they’re going to raise your blood pressure. You talked about caffeine, but if you carbo load before you’re going to the gym you’re going to jack up your blood pressure because you’re filling your system with sugar and that’s normal that’s not high blood pressure and you just have a bad doctor. Your doctor doesn’t do natural approaches. Your doctor is taught to prescribe medication’s to treat the symptoms of diseases. But in the numbers you’re talking about 155 when you get back from the gym and you’re eating, that’s normal blood pressure what you were suffering from was Stress and overdoing it whether it would be physical stress from working out. Of course the caffeine keeps you wired all day and dealing with stuff and not getting time to rest like working all day but that wasn’t high blood pressure that was excessive amounts of stress and you’re learning to destress and give your body time to relax. Everybody needs to do that because nobody’s made to go out there 10 or 12 or 15 hours a day pushing it. We’re supposed to exert physically as needed deal with stressful situation when they come and relax and rest and destress the rest of the time. We just live these crazy lifestyles. We’re running around, killing ourselves at some job stressed about life and relationships going to the gym and working out excessively eating crap and always worried about everything because we choose these ridiculous lifestyles, almost nobody did this 200 years ago there were a few, but it was a tiny percentage of society. Other people went out, and Worked went home and rested, and everybody was eating healthier. I don’t think you had high blood pressure. You had stress issues and you’ve learned to fix them and learned that you need to take breaks and destress and relax. That’s when our body heals that’s why it’s important to get plenty of sleep, that’s when 90% of your body is healing. That’s when your muscles are building not right after you work out, you stress your muscles then you sleep and relax and that’s when they build and get strong, and that includes your heart and your arteries and your organs, prolong stress is an absolute killer and prescribing medication. Isn’t the way to deal with it but if you just found ways to distress and you can get your blood pressure to a normal weight range than your blood pressure is fine when you’re stressed your blood pressure should jump way up that’s how your body oxygenates itself and keeps you from passing out so when you’re at the gym working out when you’re out walking or running when you’re in a stressful situation at work or a car accident or something like that your blood pressure should be high and that’s completely normal and your doctor should’ve been telling you to distress not trying to write you blood pressure meds because he doesn’t know how to take blood pressure that’s just an incompetent Doctor

Howling headaches, 193/125 for two days. Always around 3-4am. Went back on original meds. In two more days back to 143/100 average. I want off these things. I do physical work. Got a torn meniscus right now. Once able going to go back to the gym, lose another 10kgs ( already lost 10kgs - roughly 22lbs). Inspired bud. We can do it and keep doing it. A very simple, healthy and quick way to lower your blood pressure is to look up nitric oxide rich foods and its effects on blood pressure. The 2 best sources of nitric oxide are arugula and beets/beet leaves. I make a smoothie in my ninja power blender of arugula and a few slices of beets and beet leaves. Then check your blood pressure within 1 or 2 hours. There will be a dramatic drop and it will be sustained through most of the day. Nitric oxide dialates the blood vessels and gives the blood more room to flow thus reducing the pressure. You also get all the other benefits of eating the plants as well. Eating high potassium rich foods and keeping your salt intake lower also helps a lot.

After watching your video and reading many of the comments below, I realize I have to stop drinking coffee. I mean, I was sipping on coffee as I began watching it! About 5 years ago I was working out every other day. Nothing drastic, just simple weights, a crunch routine using an Ab Shaper unit, and then I'd go for a fast walk, jog, sprint, and fast walk back home. About 3/4 of a mile. The sprint was 50 yard .... and I got to 11 seconds. World record, from what I understand, is 5.5 seconds. So I was twice as slow as the fastest man in the world. But I was also 67 at the time, and I do not have long legs. Back then my BP was about 124 /75. Lately it's been averaging 175/95. I'm on BP meds, but I like going the natural route. So I need to cut out the coffee ... and get back into exercising every other day

I'm retired, 70 years old and have been borderline on hypertension most of my adult life. About 2 months ago, I started taking L-Citrulline every morning. Dosing varies per person, but at the dose I take - more than the recommended 3 grams per day - my BP went from around 145/90, long term, to around 108/68 in the morning. I've seen as low as 98/65. In the evening it gets to about 125/75. I get a lot of exercise - I telemark ski in the Wasatch (Utah) almost all above 8000' and I've noticed an increase in endurance as well that I suspect is a result of the greater levels of nitric oxide.

@DeepSnap I’m a truck driver. Jan 2022 my BP was off the charts. I didn’t want to go to a Dr and watch them flip out, prescribe me meds, etc. That left me with only one option. I had to radical with my diet AND exercise. I’d been doing some light searching for health foods, but I got serious than. Eating healthy does, unfortunately, cost more. Here’s a few examples of what I did. And, yes, my BP dropped from high 160’s over high 110’s. Ya…BAD! Right now I’m having oatmeal. But I add 3 table spoons of ground flax seed, two table spoons of avocado oil, I’ll use honey (which is heart healthy ESPECIALLY if the comb is with the honey) or Monk Fruit sugar. I’ve cut out all regular sugar and Kerry Gold Pure Irish Butter. Morning and night I take one teaspoon of cod liver oil and high grade extra virgin olive oil. Cod liver oil is fabulous for all sorts of things including reducing inflammation throughout the body. Another meal I enjoy is wild caught salmon with a salad (arugula, cut up avocados and tomatoes, red balsamic vinegar, and some diced red onions. Each have a different effect that’s healthy for the heart). Lately I’ve found out that Vitamin K2 is a fairly new discovery that removes calcium from the arteries (and actually wherever through the body) and places it in the bones, thus strengthening them. Natto is THE BEST source for K2. It’s a Japanese whole soybean. Look up how to eat. It takes a little getting use to, but the amount of K2 in it is more than worth it. It’s actually not bad. Also, fermented sauerkraut is a great source for K2. Also, daily I take Turmeric, Apple Cider Vinegar and I use the Balance of Nature and HumanN products which are very good. With HumanN I just get super beets and the D3 products. But I’ve recently read about eating whole beets that have an incredible quick effect on BP, so I’ll start that. As for exercising I mainly do (work up my times) 30min-1hr of treadmill run/walk…mostly run LOL and 30min-1hr elliptical machines. I love my core workouts. I found on the Bowflex UA-cam channel some fabulous core workouts that most definitely work!!! That’s just a bit,but my BP drop every bit of 45 points in about 4 months. KEEP IN MIND I’m a truck driver, so my eating and exercising are not regular. I’ll keep it somewhat simple and leave it there. Thanks for this video. It was very inspiring to motivate even more.

I decided Keto was not long term. I found my triggers to be salt and caffeine. I avoid caffine altogether, or I drink decaffeinated coffee, and I salt everything with Ms. Dash. My BP isn't exactly 120/80, but it's pretty darn close. 😁

Sir your B/P is not why I messaged you. I say just because a person has dark skin,,,negro is an old term we used as I am 66 now. I agree,,YOU ARE AS AMERICAN AS I AM! In winter Im so white Im almost pink. The Sun takes care of that. I have had many skin cancers due to the light skin. I think of men and women of the Black race,,,I just say Black folks,,,White folks. I hope that is a good idea. 100% say a man with dark skin could come from Hati for example. I think mainly about a Black person that serves his country and the GENERAL RULE IS TO SAY AFRICAN AMERICAN. I think that is 1/2 American and you may have left blood or a body part protecting our country!! Just because you are dark and have certain traits,,,dosent make you African. If BORN in Africa and then come to USA you are African American. I agree with your Arkansan American. Why do so many want to give credit to Africa? In life generally I have had a HELL of a lot more trouble with WHITES than any Black Folks. I hope this is 100% in agreement with you? Take good care Trapper. Just an old Kentucky Boy here!!!!

I had a similar situation, when my doctor starting talking about "taking a little tablet" when my blood pressure got up past 140.
I'm not keen on giving up coffee (and even less keen on the "little tablet"), but I found my BP dropped down below that trigger 140 recently when I started eating low carb (very meat based diet), and lost a couple of kg weight. Also doing some breathing meditation practice has helped in the past.

I was in the same boat a while back. Dr said she was going to put me on blood pressure meds, I laughed. After research on nutrition, I realized I was deficient in Magnesium and potassium. I was surprised what the daily potassium intake was. I stated taking 400mg of Magnesium glycinate 200mg afternoon/before bed. Introduced avacados, bananas, coconut water into my diet and my BP went down. If I noticed my BP is slightly above 120, I'll just be conscious of my salt and sugar intake and reduce it. Remember, Doctors only know what to treat and not look for the cause and work with you on nutrition. Great video. I am fairly lean, I do cardio and resistance train daily, and eat healthy. I monitor my blood pressure regularly. Interestingly with all things being equal, I noticed weight/fat gain no matter how small seems to be the biggest trigger in causing my blood pressure to spike big time. And that gain can be as little as 6-7 lbs accompanied by an estimated body fat percentage increase of as little as 1-2 %. This consistently happens. And as soon as I drop that 6-7 lbs, and drop the 1-2% bf, with all things being equal, my blood pressure stabilizes and consistently reads in the super optimal range. So for me, the weight gain/increase in bf appears to be the major blood pressure raising trigger

      @treefellonya 7 місяців тому

Wow, that would be weird. You'd have to be especially disciplined to maintain. I wonder if correlation isn't causation in your case. Maybe there is something else that is the real trigger, with the weight gain merely going along for the ride? So, maybe its the frequency of eating, or what you are eating. In the former (frequency of eating) it has been shown that glucose levels stay high, increasing insulin resistance, and thereby hypertension. Maybe you should take a blood sugar check? Monitors are reasonably priced these days. with built in graphs and such so you can build a glucose historical. All the best to you.

Today my bp was 131/79 in the am, and I decided to se ehow much caffeine spikes my bp (and I also really wanted a cup). My bp went high during a stressful time and I was put on bp meds. My bp went very low on meds and after I had dealt with stress. I told my doc i didn't have hypertension anymore and actually was low but she took bp with wrong size cuff and had me mask up (which sets me in panic mode since I have asthma), and then said, "See, still high." You sound like you have a much better doctor than I do.

Check how much money they get for pushing these drugs. I quit going to my doc. BP was normal when the nurse took it. The doc would take it again and it would be too high so he’d prescribe drugs. Good docs are hard to find. I quit going.

Stress is my big trigger. I try to remove unnecessary stressors when I can,, but you can't always avoid those things, but you CAN change how you respond to them. After your video I am weaning myself off coffee. I only drank 1 cup for the last few days. My bp is considerably lower. Yesterday was a record 118/84. I love coffee but I’d rather not be on meds. My two older brothers both take BP medicine, and probably will for the rest of their lives. I started on a quest fall of 2021 to control my blood pressure before it becomes an issue. It averaged 120/70 with my home meter, that is much better than my siblings, but I have always taken better care of myself. My concern is what percentage our genetics has on BP. I don't want to wake up one day with high BP and not have tried to control it. I have been reducing my carbs and practicing intermittent fasting most days. Also, I got a breathing exerciser, basically a device that restricts inhale or exhale, to work the lungs. I take my BP roughly every week, first thing in the morning for consistency, and found that my readings have dropped to an average of 110/65. I do agree that stress is probably the biggest contributor, and the last decade of my life, my stress has been declining.

Few days ago my stresslevel went right up, the mind chatter would not stop. Checked my bp the next day and it was 140/90. Went to doctor today and it was higher than the reading. He suggested i go for 10 days medication and a follow up. I told him i know i can manage this pls dont give me medicine. He said i will stop your medication once it reaches the normal level and you lost some weight as i am over weight.
I lost my dag two years ago and I feel I pushed myself towards depression. I was usually a very active person... But i just kept myself aloof and did no exercise and this is what i brought upon myself. My father would never have wanted me to live this way. Recently went to the doctor for a skin cancer, only to discover my blood pressure was 166/97! As a very healthy person, I was shocked but chose to take matters into my own hands, and immediately began to supplement with potassium chloride (1000mg, twice a day). Literally, my blood pressure dropped to 131/76 by the second day of doing this. There is simply no way you can eat 4700mg worth of potassium everyday (15 bananas, or how about 11 cups of leafy greens a day?). Getting half from your diet and the other half from a supplement is cheap, easy and very safe.

SO I WENT FOR MY PHYSICAL THE AID CAME UP WITH A READING THAT WAS IMPOSSBLEAND IT WAS DONE WRONG !

Simple buy bulk potassium chloride (it's cheap) and take 1/4 teaspoon of potassium chloride powder daily with food and 8 ounces of water. It's important to monitor pressure and blood potassium levels as you slowly over several weeks adjust the KCL as needed to get a normal blood pressure and maintain. Caveats: go slowly and don't over do it as too much potassium can cause muscle and cardio issues.

Every one I know with 10 years or more think of quiting regularly. There is a college of nurses to regulate nurses. What there needs to be is a college that monitors the employers of nurses.
