I got amazing result after following this teaching. Honestly i have never seen my BP down to 120/80 ever since i was diagnosed of BP since 2014. I'm currently on four medications since July this year. I'm talking Anlodipine, Lisinopril, Bisoprolol, and clopidogrel. My next appointment with my doctor is 6th December. After listening to this lecture,i started 12hrs for 1wk,then 16hrs for the second wk, and 18hrs for the 3rd wk. After checking my BP, it was 119/74. Very amazing to me for the first time. In the following week,no more fasting, but my BP was 116/74. I'm feeling very relieved from all the stress and anxiety. But my purse is still between 85,90,80. Despite the bisoprolol 1.5 mg. So i hope the doctor can reduce my medication in our next meeting. Presently, I'm still doing another 16/8 hrs fasting bcos i feel it's good for my health and I'm enjoying it coupled with workout. But i change my drug time to noon, that's after breaking my fast. Very amazing experience
He's the best doctor. He makes people like us understand about health, so glad to have someone who is very informative and actually willing to share valuable information about health to us ! ❤ God bless you Dr
Hi Dr. Pal my self Shubhangkar.pal from India. I am a huge fan of you and I've been regularly viewing your shorts that really helped me to change. Today I came across this video cuz my mom diagnosed with hypertension, and being Bengali East Indian we live on Carbs & minimal protein and fiber (rice&fish), previously my father had an heart surgery. Back in 2014 when I was 16yr old. No doctors neither any nutritionist suggest or helped us the way u educated us is way beyond. Now I am 26 and since I am grown up and have access to internet & have mentors/influencers/God like you, who actually added value in our lives. I accept to take 3 month challenge with my whole family and will update the progress. #no simple/processed carbs #mandatory 12hr fasting 8am-8pm. And Ekadashi fasting 2 times a month. #onlynatural organic food for life❤
your just amazing sir. no one really talks to us about prevention.....general public are clueless and we only end up in the hospital......you have been educating us through your channel and this is benefiting millions ..........your videos are an eye opener ....cant thank u enough
Now I know the what and how now to get my blood pressure down after you explained it so well. All I was told that my blood pressure is to high and then they said I could go home but nobody told me what to do to get it down again. I am going through a streeful period and my diet has changed due to my stress. I will start the 14 day challenge tomorrow morning and do the fasting and my intake will be fruit, veg, chicken or fish. I will reply with a result within two weeks.❤ thank you very much Dr Pal.
Excellent video Dr PAl. I am under BP medication for more than a decade. As u said, only salt was sighted as a cause.. insulin Resistance was never Even thought of. I am your sishyai, trying out slowly 13 hrs of fasting for the past 3 months. My energy levels have definitely gone up. Weight reduced by 1.5 to 2 kgs. Other tests I haven t done now. Thanks a ton for the eye opener.
My BP readings are high during the day time (Stage 2). One day, I woke up in the morning and checked the BP level right after and it was 105/90. I thought there must be something wrong with the BP measuring device. This video explains why it was low (12 hr fast after falling asleep). I stumbled upon this video. I am going to take up the challenge...and I am motivated 1) based on what Dr. Pal shared and 2) based on the comments from those who have benefitted from it. Will be back soon.
Wat he said s 100% true, my bp level chances from 138/98 to 110/75 and my heart rate chances from 124 to 89 within 10days due to rawvegan and intermittent fasting. Before I dont knw abt this I just started these diets to lose few pounds but these gives better result on healthwise too. This s really double happy moment.
Thank you doctor for explaining complex terminology into simple layman's language. Kudos to your contribution to society and your genuine desire of wanting to see a positive change!!
This is great info. Try a meal plan with fasting, it works!. I'm 71. About 2 months ago my doc put me on a 2 meal schedule with strict fasting in between, along with few or no carbs. My diet was already good, and I focused on food order, with vinegar. I also started doing the 3 minute nitric oxide workout 3 times a day, a bit of breathing and hibiscus tea. I went to the doc today. After being low normal, my BP had gone up to 128 creeping into the 30s. Today my official number is 100/70. My doc was very happy. What a burden lifted off. Try this way of eating.
@@Discover-Hiddenbut in iftar we eat more fruits so issue issue, I am a big foodie, and my blood pressure also high, but in ramadan month always its come to normal, so now days weeekly 3 to 4 days i am fasting
Last week I received my Wake Up call by my doctor. From past two months I have started Intermideate fasting.Thankyou doctor for making this video.🙏🙏🙏From Bangalore India.
Hi Did you start medications right away for high BP or first did lifestyle changes after the wake up call ? Please do reply as I got my wake up call too 🙃🙃 Thanks 🙏
If every doctor was as thorough as this doctor the world would be so healthy. Most doctors don’t take the time to work with on getting better. They only push medication. Thank you Dr. Pal. Can you drink water during the fast? I like to drink water when I wake up in the morning
Sharing my experience. I’ve been on keto + one meal a day (OMAD) for 7 months. I take only dinner (keto). I don’t feel any hunger at all. It’s really fascinating to see how the body adapts. (Of course, I have some cheat days. But I get back on track quickly). I feel more healthier than ever! From my experience, I can say the popular 3 meal a day concept is a myth! The food industry wants more profits.
@@muthiurrahman3207 Honestly, our body does not need snacks. We usually mis-read food cravings as hunger. I’m no doctor but craving is psychological, whereas hunger is biological. Eating snacks is the main reason the body constantly produces insulin. And the extra Insulin triggers hunger and we eat food, which in turn triggers more insulin. This sets in a vicious cycle, leading to insulin resistance.
@@Lonelywarrior77I agree with u but Psychological is also very important and difficult to deal with for major population... But yes Cutting carbs will surely help psychological part immediately....Gut bacteria also plays a huge role in that.....
This works. One of my friends adopted a 14h fasting routine and happened to stop taking diabetes medicine. Now, going long term in hope to reduce BP medicine. Yes, intermittent fasting along with other lifestyles changes really works like magic. Thank you Dr. Pal.
Did you friend drink alcohol socially, maybe moderate? If yes, then did he stop the consumption? Please do share his experience and journey in case he is an alcohol consumer.
I must say, you have done an excellent job in explaining my blood pressure problem to me. I have a much better understanding of its cause, insulin resistance. By Diet change, exercise, and fasting, I believe I will have mastery over this problem. Most grateful.
Sir! you are doing great work by spreading awareness about medical conditions. We can not expect true advise from a doctor in todays commercialized medical world, even though you being a doctor doing such a great social service. 🙏
Dr. Pal I am a follower of your UA-cam videos. Your words are like life and death matter in my world. My husband has always has a BP of 130/95 even with medication. He does 16:8 fasting. That’s how he kind able to lower all his test results on hba1c, triglycerides, cholesterol etc. He takes allopurinol for gout too. He is just 37 years old and bp and heart attacks runs in his family. We would really like to come for your consultation and your guidance to solve my husbands health issue. Thanking you for all the best efforts you have put out there. God bless you.
@@sundarnarayanan3511 never knew this. As I take Levocitrizine montekast etc for allergy and bronchodilators at times I saw once bp was high and also it was my first day of periods. Doc said it could just be Harmonal. At night it came normal and even next day it was 108

Thanks doctor for explaining the BP so nicely. Generally, people blame worries, stress to be a major contributor for high BP but after watching your video I am convinced that your explanation is absolutely correct. 👍👍
I’m so happy more and more doctors are waking up to refined carbs as the problem, insulin levels and fasting benefits. For too long doctors and sadly many still do follow the flawed pyramid from 50 years ago and still advise pasta, breads, cereals as the foods to eat.
Never expected the root cause Dr. Pal…. I have stopped pickles absolutely 😃 Stress is my main reason … need to meditate 😊 .. your each video is very informative 🙏 keep enlightening us ….. waiting for your next video soon 🙋🏼♀️
I just saw your video on high blood pressure.I am taking micardis 40mg from last 8-9years.My pressure 142-147/85-95.I followed many techniques you mentioned from 12feb,2024.one week before 7 April,2024 I measured BP was 130/80.I am so happy.I never seen my BP like this even when I am going for gym or dieting. But your 12hrs fasting(not eating in night shifts),fermented foodevery meal, increased fiber/ salad, decreased carbs(not eating roti, eating khuboos) helped lot more changes.I am trying to follow as much possible .Thanks a lot dr.Pal.I can't find enough words to express.why I didn't see your videos earlier?
Honestly, I have followed your recommendations. My body has gotten use to intermittent fasting. I have included daily walking in my routine. These have all helped in my health progress physically, mentally & emotionally Dr Pal. My doc told me she is surprised with my med report showing a drastic drop in glucose/HBA1C. I have told her I wld like to continue with my significant health changes. Dr Pal I cannot thank you enough for your empowering work.😊 Truly grateful❤

Hi, Still you are getting results. Pl reply. Asking because it can be recommended to respective members by sharing viode This is the best guidance from doctor.
Now I get it. We had been eati g too much rice and bread. Sometimes have late supper. The carbs hlucose or sugar, becomes fat, and became blockages for arteries. Thank you Doctor. Thank you doctor
Finally I got know the root cause of my high BP. I’ve seen many doctors to find the root cause, but it was not found. I’m a big fan of night eating😂, now understood the pressure the body went through so far. Started the intermittent fasting, in last 40 days lost 15 lbs.
Very clear explanations dr pal ....yes insulin resistance plays a key role in hypertension ....no body knows symptomatically ....sudden rise in systolic and diastolic ....so only answer is diet lifestyles modification ......very useful one to all ...carbohydrates 3 times in diet morning idly afternoon rice 2 servings and evening dosa is also culprit am I right dr ??
Great video as always, thanks Dr.Pal. For me, if my stomach is not full, I get Higher BP readings. Fasting spikes my BP. I'm thin and underweight. Also I'm not entirely convinced that insulin resistance is the CAUSE of hypertension. Every male relative on my father's side had hypertension, often uncontrolled because they would skip medicines but no one ever got diabetes. My father's blood sugar was always normal in spite of sky high BP. But they were all type A personalities like me, prone to fits of anger. Another distant female middle aged family member has pre diabetes, overweight and grade 1 fatty liver, but is never stressed or angry and her BP is always a steady 115/75. My own sugar levels are perfect and cholesterol is outstanding but I'm unable to de-stress and control my BP. Averaging 140/90 during the day and hitting close to 150/100 in the evening. Im in middle age and nothing is helping : aerobic exercise, deep breathing, isometric, hibiscus tea, low salt - tried everything. I believe this is "essential hypertension" and the only solution is the damned drugs which I pushed off so long. Perhaps there is more to hypertension than insulin resistance. Thanks for listening - appreciate a response
Hey Pal. Just want to share my own experience. I have started intermittent fasting since last 40 days after watching your inspiring story and i have lost 4 kgs in the last 40 days. i eat only 2 meal a day . 9 am and another at 8.30 Pm. nothing in between. Explained so well- thank you for sharing this information as most Drs don’t . They tell you take this or that and eat less but never explain how this all relates to high BP.
i hope you are healthy and doing well ,i have 100 diastolic BP. Is it possible that i might end up in similar situation like you did in the past. Thanks in advance.
Dear Dr Pal, As you’re an expert gastroenterologist, I am a big fan of yours. Not only that, I sincerely follow all your advice, tips and keep watching your videos and study them deeply. They’re extremely informative, useful and inspiring. I am following the circadian rhythm, 12 & 12 hours window & sometimes 14& 10 hours is also possible. Please guide me about flatulence and gases . Right since I was an adolescent, child I have weak digestive system. I tend to get gases and that creates stiffness in my back, so much so that I can’t wear my show laces…. But sometimes it’s ( my back) so soft that I wear them easily . I do exercises ( strength training, core & swim 🏊♀️ for a cardio,5-6 days a week in total) Eat like very limited amounts and times also. I am a non diabetic and have no comorbidities of any kind. Pl make a video on how to eliminate gases, rigidity , inflammation caused due to gases . I shall be very grateful and soon I will be giving for the noble purpose of Aishwarya Trust. Be assured please. Lots of respect for your hard work, knowledge, your great work for the trust and your dedication towards the poorer and common people . But one important point i want to tell that which not get from any youtubers. If someone have any problem in brain, kidney or thyroid etc, this also instantly raise bp to extreme high.
Salute the Doctor for an excellent explanation of impact of insulin on BP. I am motivated to follow his instructions and will surely update. My sincere thanks to you Doctor.
✒️Everything you stated was FACTS sir‼️ Many doctors do no want to tell patients this truth and immediately start prescribing 💊medications to treat high blood pressure and hypertension which comes with a plethora of other side effects that will begin as a result, instead of just approaching this in the correct manner as you have just stated. Fasting should always be the first step to addressing high blood pressure, never 💊 medication‼️ #NatureOverMedication
Great video content and VERY informative!! I too have been on BP medicine for over 15 years, and always thought sodium was the driving force. As well as, watching carbs due to Pre-diabetes.

Nicely explained
#onlynatural organic food for life❤
I have 130/90... I have started the guidelines ....let's see..and iam not on medicines....
Sir, You are going to make doctors unemployed :). The way you pinpoint the root cause and solution...ultimate... hats off...

your just amazing sir. no one really talks to us about prevention.....general public are clueless and we only end up in the hospital......you have been educating us through your channel and this is benefiting millions ..........your videos are an eye opener ....cant thank u enough

Iam taking medication for hyper tension for past 2years.. my doctor never explained about high BP..
Quite clear now..tq Dr.
Really can u explain pls because I am also taking medicine now u didn't take 😊
Now I know the what and how now to get my blood pressure down after you explained it so well. I will reply with a result within two weeks.❤ thank you very much Dr Pal.
please how was it? do share
How did it go?
Excellent video Dr PAl. I am under BP medication for more than a decade. As u said, only salt was sighted as a cause.. insulin Resistance was never Even thought of. I am your sishyai, trying out slowly 13 hrs of fasting for the past 3 months. My energy levels have definitely gone up. Weight reduced by 1.5 to 2 kgs. Other tests I haven t done now. Thanks a ton for the eye opener.
Every word is Exactly Same to same RELATABLE TO ME
My BP readings are high during the day time (Stage 2).

Very well explained doctor Pal. Keep enlightening the society. Thank you so much for everything you do!

Not even healthy snacks other times of the day?
Thanks!
Thanks for your valuable contribution

Thanks doctor for explaining the BP so nicely. Generally, people blame worries, stress to be a major contributor for high BP but after watching your video I am convinced that your explanation is absolutely correct. 👍👍
I’m so happy more and more doctors are waking up to refined carbs as the problem, insulin levels and fasting benefits. For too long doctors and sadly many still do follow the flawed pyramid from 50 years ago and still advise pasta, breads, cereals as the foods to eat.

Finally I got know the root cause of my high BP. I’ve seen many doctors to find the root cause, but it was not found. I’m a big fan of night eating😂, now understood the pressure the body went through so far. Started the intermittent fasting, in last 40 days lost 15 lbs.
What was the drop in your blood pressure?
😅
Very clear explanations dr pal ....yes insulin resistance plays a key role in hypertension ....no body knows symptomatically ....sudden rise in systolic and diastolic ....so only answer is diet lifestyles modification ......very useful one to all ...carbohydrates 3 times in diet morning idly afternoon rice 2 servings and evening dosa is also culprit am I right dr ??
I watched this last week and have been working it for four days.
Already, I feel better, and am able to sleep at night.
Thanks good Doctor!
No body can ever imagine that this insulin resistance could be the reason for high blood pressure. Thank you Dr. May Allah bless you
Me also surprised as I hv started intermittent fasting and taking one spoon Desi ghee empty stomach and my bp shooted
God bless you.
Best Answer.. Thanks DR Pal

Please guide me about flatulence and gases .
Right since I was an adolescent, child I have weak digestive system.
I tend to get gases and that creates stiffness in my back, so much so that I can’t wear my show laces…. But sometimes it’s ( my back) so soft that I wear them easily .
I do exercises ( strength training, core & swim 🏊♀️ for a cardio,5-6 days a week in total)
Eat like very limited amounts and times also.
