I started watching your videos when I came across "The Problem with Horror Movies Today." Then after that, I started watching video after video after video until I was like, "Shit. I think I love this guy."
+goreycinema We had the exact same experience, it seems. "The Problem with Horror Movies Today" was so on-point, I had to see what else he'd done. Chris is now the only film critic (online or otherwise) that I regularly consult before seeing a new movie.

@@oca6256 he grew up in a high control religious group. where they require you only to have friends with people in the same religion and if you do something they aren't fond of, you will be asked to leave and lose all your freinds and family. So Chris was in this group and put he up movie reviews. then the group told him, they didn't like his movie reviews(he had a review of a Thor who is a norse god), they told him to get rid of the channel or else, he will risk being seen as a bad member and risk losing his friends and family. So that's why he got rid of his original review channel.

Chris u have inspired me to one day be a critic on UA-cam, so far I write reviews on IMDb, I see movies as much as I can, I come up with great script ideas to one day write when I'm older. congrats CHris, honestly, YOU were the first guy to actually make me take movies seriously and see them as an artform, and started watching movie reviews fand such because OF you man, and because the first vid I saw was the Indian Jones reviews with Schmoes and Jeremy, I also got to see them and follow them, I see movies frquently when I can(and fully haha) and also movies that are not just the action/comic book movie ones and I love movies now, because of you man, thanks for making me a fan, and no homo, but, I love you man hahaha

i recently found the liking of going to the movies, (in one video he explains why people stop going to the cinema, cause it was more comfortable just stay home in your home theater), but before i go to the movies, first i gotta see your and the Jahns review, you saved me some bucks, so i dont go and watch some crap in the cinema, so tnx Chris.
Man then this guy really blew up within the last year or so. He went from 100,000 to almost 400,000. That's insane. I mean I've become a fan of his in the last few months. But it's good to see he's still growing. The guy has been doing this for years and he's got a huge fan base now.
Refreshingly honest, Witty, original, thorough, and yes funny are probably the best ways to describe this reviewer. He isn't overwhelmingly critical or glowing for the sake of clicks. It helps that he has the same sense of movies that I do. Stuckman has quickly become my favorite and probably the best movie reviewer on UA-cam. Thank you and keep up the good work.
