    2nd Video I've watched. I'm a tax accountant and was just curious to video's like this on UA-cam. I must say these are some of the best presented, and done so in a reasonable time frame. Well done- I look forward to watching several more.

    Can you do a video on how to do an LLC in Anonymity? And the benefits of doing that as opposed to have your name publicly known as the owner of that LLC?

    Hello, this video just popped in my “recommended” section.
    My case is:
    1. I’am not a US Citizen.
    2. My wife is from Texas but we live in the Caribbean with three boys.
    3. My wife and children they all are US Citizens.
    4. I opened an account in the TD Ameritrade.
    As from laws goes they didn’t let me put “beneficiaries” to my account because I’am treated as a Foreign Person, so I had to do a Will.
    I read that anything above $60,000 of I pass away will be taxed by the IRS (40%).
    So, I want to form an LLC -individual- and continue investing but it is not fair for my family to pay that 40% when I am paying taxes to my country.
    Maybe this is a case you have seen.
    My kids are still below the age of 18 (11, 9, 6).
    Thank you!!

    Hi, I'd like to know more about LLC membership interest. Is it the same as capital stock?

    • @allupinyobiz
      @allupinyobiz  3 роки тому

      Pretty much. It's the same concept, except LLCs don't technically have stock or shares. We'll usually refer to LLC membership interest in units or just percentages. If there are two LLC members that each have a 50% membership interest, it's the same as saying there are 100 units (or shares) and each owns 50.

    im in a booming texas town, and LLC's give everybody the impression they can run up their debts everywhere in town, then stiff everybody scott free. i'll be going from this video to search how to sue an L.L.C. when they inevitably act out the protection afforded by said limited liability.

    I work for a Pllc. Would it be okay for me to ask for a copy of the operating areement? is it something i have a right to read? and also for insperation for my own future LLC.

    • @allupinyobiz
      @allupinyobiz  4 роки тому +1

      It's fine for you to ask, but no, you don't have a right to see it as an employee of the company.

  • @bstrickler

    So I'm understanding the discussion about the income tax part of a single member LLC as this:
    The LLC is treated by the IRS as if it was just the person making the money. They don't have to deal with filing another tax return based on their income paid by the LLC, (for example, the example of the LLC gets taxed at the 35% for self employment and income tax combined, you then don't have to file a personal tax return as well, from the money you were paid by the company. It is treated (tax wise) as if you personally made the full $XXX,XXX amount of money, and as if to the IRS, the LLC didn't even exist.
    Did I understand that correctly? Or does the IRS "double dip", where they take X amount from the tax return for the LLC, then you have to file a separate personal tax return, based on what you were paid by the LLC?

      Great question. You've kind of got it right, but you're a little off. I started typing out an explanation then realized I could do it much better in a video. :-) I'm sure you're not the only one with this question! I'll make a video about it -- so keep an eye out for that and make sure you're subscribed! 🙂 Thanks so much for watching!

      @@allupinyobiz I subscribed a few days ago, because I'm going to start a locksmithing business hopefully by next year. I'm working on getting some of the important supplies. My next thing on the list is to come up with a list of names, and see what one seems more "right", and flows better, but still has a high chance of being on the top of the list when searching for a locksmith in my area.

    So... LLCs are taxed twice as well? 1. personal income tax 2. self employment tax
    so double taxation either way, LLC or S corp

    • @allupinyobiz
      @allupinyobiz  3 роки тому +1

      No, that's not double taxation its just two different types of taxes. A C Corp pays corporate tax then the shareholders pay tax when they receive dividends. That's double taxation.
