  • Most radiators have a connection nipple for a coolant line to the throttle body. It's for trucks that spend a lot of time in cold weather and the coolant is used to heat the throttle body. On most trucks, this nipple is capped closed. However, this cap deteriorates over time and causes a coolant leak or loss of coolant pressure. Use this HPS 3/8" cap from Amazon to ca the nipple.

      That’s what I’ve heard from guys who used other caps. I’ve heard one guy say he’s used this same cap and it’s been on there for three years.

    On the 300s, that line actually goes to the heater core hose, and the top still goes to overflow.

    Fun fact: If that tube has blockage, the truck will idle high in the cold. keeping the timing and fuel advanced. Ruining your gas milage

    You should do a tip on how to pull all the wayer plugs in the floor of the truck, to fill with fluid film to prevent rust, also, check your cowl seal, can leak water into your pcm

    • @TheMinuteMasters
      @TheMinuteMasters  Рік тому

      That is a good idea. I will do a fluid film video for the video obvious rust spots.
      I do need to check the cowl seal over my PCM just to make sure it’s not leaking.

      @@TheMinuteMasters there is also a plug underneath each floor pan that leads to a cavity that can have water and dirt buildup, its one of those jobs where you gotta strip out your flooring and your seat, but its worth it, also! Theres a couple behind your seat, plugs that is that leads to yet another of these cavities, they are the main cause of floor pans and cab corners going to rust and rot, love the channel
