The Qunari still look really off. The horns need more ridges and brought in closer to the head. Having them start that far out to the side is creating some really freaky looking megamind foreheads lol

There are tons of horn options. In Origins, Sten didn't have horns at all.

You bet! I've always thought hair in Dragon Age were horrible and not at all thought out, but the hair in this Veilgard is some of the most impressive I've seen. Kudos for the developers!

The Qunaris, except for Taash, are player created! Why is that so hard to understand? BioWare did NOT design the player rooks.

@@anon2752 They did actually Prothean , Geth , Kelly ,😂 Miranda sister , Reapers from ME2 epilogue to ME3 design heck they even change back again in ME Legendary Edition again with Kelly and Dr.Kenson, your armors in ME1 and some weapons also Husk design over the period of ME 1 to ME3 also these Darkspawns are corrupted by Evil Elven Gods so it's not redesign.

@illizcit1 well DAV prologue, Varric mentions to Solas his veil ritual had demons come out and kill random people. Solas said, that's what people, they die. Kinda hard to root for someone that doesn't care about others lifes anymore.....or pretends not to.

@@FleursEnEclatsAnders and Solas could not be more different. Solas isn’t corrupted by a spirit or anything. He is repentant for creating the veil and destroying his people. He is not wrong for wanting to put things back as they were (minus the other elven gods). Anders was corrupted by a spirit of vengeance which drove him to start a war that nobody could win because he wanted to get even.
Well, BESIDES the artstyle that I'm not the biggest fan of, we can see how much love they poured into this game!
How they took things we loved from the past games, like the finishing moves from DAO, or Hawke's personality wheel, it was such a cool move. I'm really really excited!

This game is the result of all of the people quitting after pausing development on Dragon Age IV for Anthem. This is an entirely different creative team. They chucked out the Keep and decided to reboot this entire thing. So this is what we end up with.
Then why do you choose the previous game's choices at the beginning of this one? Why does it directly continue the story from Trespasser? How is this a reboot in any capacity whatsoever?
@@krasmasov6852 It doesn't. At the end of Trespasser, the Inquisition (or the former Inquisition) decides to go on the attack. The implication was that Dreadwolf would immediately follow Trespasser. Now the game takes place a decade later, with everyone having sat on their thumbs for years. And Solas is immediately supplanted as the primary antagonist. And there are literally hundreds of choices that were a part of The Keep. You think that those choices will all be made at the beginning of Veilguard? No, of course not. It will be like Mass Effect Genesis, where you make a few relevant choices at the beginning of the game.
It's a change of direction in story (as they've admitted), it's a change in art style, it's a change in gameplay, it's a change in tone. They had a trailer in 2022 where they teased what looked to be an entirely different game. Since, they've changed the tone, the name, and pretty much everything else. They changed the timeline and discarded The Keep.
Oh, and when they postponed this game's development most of the people involved with Dragon Age left the company. This is an entirely new team with an entirely new 'gendermancing' director.

This part of the presentation series (there will be more) is focusing on companions and relationships and not especially on the story and combat and so on. It's only natural that they talk more about relationship and romance than something else.
