Dear Abby, I'm an elderly gentleman that used to enjoy television, but not anymore. Is there any way MST3K can be restored to regular television service, it would make the cold lonely days a little less dismal. Yours Truly, Brain Dead in Denver.
Pluto has a nice selection, but they run more commercials than regular tv. Plus orig poster was requesting mst3k be brought back as a tv series with new episodes.
“I’ll sign off. Call back the TR-14. Bring it back!” “And backfill the story for the audience! *They have no idea what’s going on.”* I love the subtle change in Crow’s voice there. It’s like he’s swapped from acting as the guy to speaking to himself.
Loved this show since it's inception. I've never seen this one but, please chime in. The older gentleman looks suspiciously like the pastor from Blazing Saddles. This never has and will never get old.
About the 'ATMOSPHERE CHAIN': Okay, I'm not saying this film is hard science fiction by any stretch, but if two moons are in close conjunction, and they both have atmosspheres, then it is possible if they pass close enough one or even both could pull huge streamers of gas from the other. There are binary stars that do this and there have been double planets in hard scifi novels (like Robert L. Forward's Rocheworld) that did similar. So yes, this could essentially be a hurricane in the vacuum of space under the right circumstances, and yes, it would be a danger for a space station passing unknowingly through it.
I'm more baffled how life can possibly exist on a pair of worlds that don't orbit any sort of star, and has no consistent heat source or day-night cycles. I get that they explain how the moons orbit each other, with the barycenter in between them (like Pluto-Charon), but other than that it's said they just sorta aimlessly drift through space, which also doesn't make much sense seeing as how the characters are already familiar with them and even know people who live there. As such they have to orbit some sort of outside body and thus follow a determined path. Even asteroids and comets orbit the sun.
Happy Halloween 🎃

PlutoTV has a MST3K channel and a Rifftrax channel. They don't show everything and each day loops, but it's better than nothing.

Gizmoplex has many of the original MST3k eps
Credit where credit is due: the kid isn't nearly as annoying as any of those in Gamera films.
I don't care!
The atmosphere chain is the biggest and brightest feature of the Gypsy Moons and yet everyone forgets about it.
Those atmospheres in space will get you every time!
One of my favorite episodes!
Because it needs to be said: "This is so KLANDINCTU!"

Somehow, their dialogue put the chorus of the David Bowie song, "TVC-15" back in my head.
Oh, and Happy Halloween!
"Ooooh I soiled myself again!"
