- Brief Video covering a house fire in West Deptford Township, Gloucester County NJ on 8/18/2018. Fire was reported shortly after 6pm on the 200 block of Crown Point Road. Firefighters were able to keep the fire from spreading throughout the dwelling and kept it too parts of the 2nd floor and attic area. No injuries were reported for either civilians or firefighters on location.
This is where a combination nozzle is good. After the transitional attack knocks down the fire, you go in an hit the hard to reach spots with a combination nozzles for better coverage. You don't need the reach of the straight tip, and you use less water.
Good save by that FD.
Just curious, what’s usually the major causes of attic fires not exactly ALOTTA electric up there or at least in mine anyway
very well done very good video
No sound?
I was there
Indeed you were! Lol
@@BrentStanley hahahaha my kid started commenting on videos it seems
Lol!!
What the hell took so long to get water on that? They had TIME to get that ladder up but no time to hit that with the Deck Gun for a few seconds to save the structure and the rest of the top floor from fire and radiant heat? Why the hell did they need to cut a hole in the roof with the massive hole in the gable end? Get it done eventually fire fighting!
Just love the armchair firefighters!!
Tell me where I'm wrong, loser!
JB91710 crews were already inside conducting a primary search. There was a report of people trapped Off the initial dispatch. After completing the search the same crew made entry into the attic stretching a hand line and weren’t able to find the seat of the fire and conditions were deteriorating quickly. The call was made to get a hole in the roof and knock down the fire from the exterior before advancing to the fire floor.
Because you weren't there to supervise.
@@dylanfanslau7870 They shouldn't have been inside while they allowed the fire to spread and threaten everyone inside. Search and Rescue is NOT job one because it takes way too long. Protection IS job one! The Deck Gun would have had that knocked down Before they could get dressed, assemble and entry team and get the front door open. Everything you said sounded like a Keystone Cops, Cluster F--K! Vent the roof for what purpose with that gable end wide open? You have no clue, Dylan.
