So let me get this straight, they can force you to put a breathalyzer in your 500 dollar Ford Taurus but one doesn’t come standard on a 100 million dollar jumbo jet???
Russia has been behind America for 5-10 years in tech, fashion, military, computer science, etc.

I know right? The Ford SHO comes with handcuffs!

Jeez. The pilot in that first one sounded like he won a gold medal at the booze olympics.
The wife of the co-pilot of the Boeing 737 flight, Riana Allaberdina, came to Perm from Ufa on September 14 for commemorative events. For the first five years after the tragedy, she flew to the capital of the Kama region every year. This year, the Allaberdins gathered here with almost the whole family. They maintain relationships with loved ones of other victims. And they still don’t believe the official version of the cause of the plane crash. Riana's husband Rustam Allaberdin, an experienced pilot, had a total flight time of more than nine thousand hours.
“Basically, the investigation simply attributed everything to the “human factor”: insufficient training of crew members, the inability of the aircraft commander to correctly determine the direction of the roll, lack of spatial orientation,” Riana told 59, ru. - They also talked about the presence of alcohol in the blood of the ship’s commander. In general, we were not informed enough and were not allowed to listen to the flight recorders.
The woman does not believe the version that commander Rodion Medvedev was drunk, since the entire crew is checked before the flight.
“It’s always easier to blame the dead, but we also need to take into account the malfunctions of the aircraft. There were two defects, one of them was the repeated shutdown of the autothrottle in flight, which the crews of this ship constantly complained about, recalls Riana. - That night, the dispatcher sent the plane to make three turns before landing, which indicates an emergency situation on board and a malfunction of the airliner.
Rustam wanted to become a pilot from first class, recalls Riana. He purposefully walked towards his goal, from his youth he was involved in parachuting, entered the Buguruslan Flight School, and graduated from the Ufa State Aviation Technical University. For many years I worked on flying hours on small planes, mastered English to improve my skills, relearned how to fly a Boeing in Moscow, and trained in Germany.
“His son followed in his father’s footsteps; now he is studying at the Ulyanovsk Institute of Civil Aviation named after Chief Marshal of Aviation Bugaev to become an air traffic controller,” says Riana. - We fly on airplanes, despite the grief we have suffered. I think the plane is still the safest means of transportation. My daughter flies the most; she travels a lot. I would also like to add that the children were incorrectly accrued a pension from the Social Insurance Fund in Arkhangelsk, where Rustam was insured against accidents. The amount is quite large, we filed a lawsuit, but to no avail. They also confiscated the pilot’s book from us on receipt and said that they would return it in a month, but we never saw it.

We talked with the family of another Boeing passenger,” says Vasily Kuchma. - When I come to Perm to that place, it’s hard for me, there are a lot of memories.

In the very first report immediately after the crash, the director of Aeroflot-Nord told the truth; I have never heard such a version anywhere else. He was asked about the reasons: was there a terrorist attack or was there no terrorist attack? He shrugged his shoulders and said: “You yourself understand, there is no crater from the impact, there is nothing.” There are not even fragments of chairs left... What does this mean? There was a factory there. I think it's like a plane being hijacked. The Boeing was heading to the factory. Why didn't they sit down right away? Allegedly, the pilot was drunk... People were too crazy to drink during the flight and not land the plane. The railway remained intact, no damage from the “impact”. Why? Only debris fell along the way. All poles and all wires are intact. If the plane had crashed, he would have collected all these pillars in a pile. Just fragments fell. There is a video recording from a camera from a nine-story building, which first shows the flash. What does this mean? The plane did not fall; they helped it fall.

Least drunk Russian pilot.
Those are two of the best pilots working for Aeroflot Nord? I cringe to think who are the worst in this airline? No sterile cockpit environment, definitely attrocious cockpit resource management skills by the captain, add to that drunk like a skunk? I guess the worst ones working for Aeroflot Nord are flight school dropouts
Aeroflop has had this issue for years, and don't do anything to fix it. Russian pilots are some of the worst pilots in the world. I've heard plenty of conversations between Kennedy Steve and an Aeroflop plane, where it's glaringly obvious the captain had been drinking. The Soviets were awful planebuilders, and the Russians are no better. I'm rather glad they're not allowed in American airspace any longer.

@@carloscurti-x3x seriously! Snicker!
Flying in Russia must be such a thrilling experience... Feels like their pilots are always up to some crazy shit.
From the pilot who killed everyone after letting their kids into the cockpit, to the drunk pilot in this video, or that other one where the pilot and the co-pilot made a bet they could land the plane without seeing anything outside and ended up killing almost 80% of the passengers...
Seriously guys, easy up on the Vodka and treat aviation with respect.
I flew Aeroflot in the mid-90s. The flight was short and took place during the day. Still,. I was very concerned that my company had booked me on it. Luckily, the flight was routine, with a normal takeoff and landing. After watching this video, however, I guess I should be thankful that I survived.
Yeah great sample size
In fact, it was not Aeroflot, as far as I remember it was a new subsidiary that was bought out. Aeroflot was certainly not ideal, but they did not have time to restore order there.
It's in the name Aero float sounds not good AERO FLOP is how I hear it
Instead of Aeroflot it became Aeroflop. Sad. RIP to the innocent victims of this disaster.
Aerovodka, better said
The FO should have taken over since the captain was clearly out of his mind. They were described as the best at this company aeroflot. I hate to see the worst!
I once went on an organized trip to Moscow and St. Petersburg. On the transfer from Moscow to Saint Petersburg the travel agency gave us the choice between traveling by train all night or flying in a Tupolev with Aeroflot. Out of 25 people, I was the only one who chose to fly. 😂
We took the St. Petersburg/Moscow Bullet Train! It was great. First class, food, booze, attendants - took under 3 hours.

Aeroflot: our best pilots are drunks. Have a nice flight.
It’s not just Russian pilots that are drunk, a longtime flight attendant friend advised me years ago not to fly early am because some pilots were very hung over or still drunk. In America.
In Germany too. I had friend who was a pilot for "Air Berlin". I said him, i was afraid to fly with him :-))
@user-pe2wq8rm1k Said Russian bot with fresh account. 😂
The passengers knew what was happening more than the pilots.
@TrollBot-r8fyes actually
@TrollBot-r8f you didn't watch ACI?
@TrollBot-r8f one of the passengers messaged her friend that she could smell liquor on the pilot, and she was worried about her safety when she told the flight attendant, but she assured her that nothing wrong
It’s hilarious 😂😂 they got SCARED
As a passenger. If there are any lights on the ground like this sim shows, you know when the plane isn't flying correctly. Might be able to sense it as well.
These planes were wobbling all over the place and the passenger has nothing better to do than see and feel what's going on.
As where pilots can be occupied with many things "or waisted" and become un aware.
It's always been a bit of a challenge, to find pilots in Russia who are fully sober.
Sometimes the planes literally dispense vodka 😂
Remember the one where he let his kid pilot? 😐
Nonsense.

Drunken captain is the “best in the company”. Yikes 😮😱
For the passengers; this ride was a horror show for a long time before the fatal dive. Neither pilot had a clue.
I was adopted from Russia from an alcoholic mother who drank during pregnancy and I'm an alcoholic/drug addoct myself. My sibling's also have had issues with it. Considering I think they classified beer as a soft drink one time, I could see drunk pilots being a thing there, unfortunately. I hope alcoholism and mental issies aren't as bad there but I could see it still being an issue there especially if poverty and poor living conditions are a thijg!
I'm angry the captain actrd this way though, being an alkie is one thing but endangering so many lives is another thing. These preventable accidents are so sad knowing this didn't have to happen, the Captain could've maybe realized he had little rest and requested coverage or some kind of help. And not drank on the plane! What a depressinf example of why alcohol and machinery like this don't mix 😢

Air traffic control is there for a reason, why didn't the captain just listen and follow the instructions?!
Got this in my recommended and as a Russian my first thought was: "I bet this sh*t happened here" and of course it did 🫤
I usually hate stereotypes but unfortunately they are sometimes proven right. A drunk pilot? Letting your son rule in the cockpit? Getting bored and making a bet that you'll land the plane without seeing the window view? Really, why not do it, it's not like you have 100 lives behind your back that fully depend on your actions...
The FO should take control
It's astonishing how often in situations where the captain is about to crash the plane, the first officer grasps the situation but just lets it happen. I can't imagine why the fear of dying/instinct for self-preservation is not more powerful than the discomfort of standing up to the captain.
Flight Channel has deteriorated in the quality of their videos. Look at the older video on this very plane crash disaster and one can see this is so. Not sure what has changed but there are other channels out there that now do a better job. It is a disappointment for sure.

A go-around! He couldn't handle a mere go around with nothing wrong to the plane!? Spatial disorientation is part of his training! He can further practice on his flight simulator. This is unacceptable!
And the diference between Russian attitude indicator and the western (in that case the 737) one…. They work with inverted logic from one another
Yeah. The western one moves the horizon, and the Russian moves the aircraft .Thus when banking left, the western makes the Russian think he's banking right because the horizon is moving to the right compared to level. In truth, the Russian seems more intuitive. Because it show the aircraft banking left with regards to level. But once used to one or the other, it can be difficult to adapt in a high stress situation. Western pilots are just lucky they never really have to adapt to Russian.
You have to know self defense when flying in a crew.
You don't say if there were any survivors on either flight.
Aeroflot was for many many years considered the worst airline in the world with a safety record so bad, that it was a standing joke, tho not so much a joke, that u needed to make sure to have ur life insurance up to date, if u had to fly Aeroflot.
They inched away from the bottom of the list, but given how theyve been flying the last couple of years in stolen aircraft and no new spare parts, they should probably be in consideration for that undesirable rating again.

Maybe he got drunk during the flight?
One passenger noticed it
I think he was more hungover than intoxicated (which has similar effects on both speech and performance). Probably why no one smelled it on him and the copilot didn't figure it out. Would also explain the cranky attitude.

Russia, of course. Safety is illegal in that country.
Reupload just make me no want watch any video from this channel anymore
With the first one, all of the other excuses were Bu&& Sh$$, The first and only reason should be the pilot was DRUNK!!!!
These airlines and, of course, the pilot unions want nothing more than to blame it on everything but pilot issues!!!

Cool re upload. Hadnt seen this for a while. Enjoyed it again. Thank you for re uploading your great content. Keep it up.
No
Honestly, yeah. I know the channel is going down into an unrecoverable stall at this point, but as someone who loves these kinds of videos, it's still a good refreshing time to watch the videos again sometimes.
Sarcasm surely
@@davidpeters3857 I thought it might sound like sarcasm but I actually enjoyed seeing this again. It had been a while and forgot exactly how it played out.
This channel has not made any video on Japan Airlines Flight 123 disaster (12th August 1985) when it was also one of the greatest aviation disasters of all time! Not even about Avianca Flight 052 disaster... There are many more!
How do they know he was drrunk?
Drunk Russians, whould'a thunk?
"right... so as soon as we join with this fracking marker we'll have to get this fracking gear down and all that shizznit" - sounds like acceptable cockpit resource management to me, I don' t know about all you guys but it's pretty clear to me what that captain wants to happen and the sequence he wants it to happen.
2 questions,
why isn't a breathalyzer obligatory for pilots and co pilots?
and would an autopilot save these 2 planes from the disaster?
Time to unsubscribe. Thanks for the last few years 👍
Even the plane looks drunk
It is not a new video Jesus re-upload
is he back to himself again?
Strange no built in breathalyzer
Flight channel has become a disastrous channel
Forensic examination of the Aeroflot captain's tissue found blood alcohol level of either around 0.05% or around 0.11% abv.
He wasn't "drunk".
He was not rested and got confused by western instrumentation that moves the background instead of the plane symbol in the attitute indicator.
I agree that all the LOL DRUNKEN RUSSIANS jokes are corny, but like, if you can get a DUI at .08, I feel like 0.11 is way too tipsy for flying a plane. That's still like six drinks right?
Actually for a chronic alcoholic, having alcohol in their blood becomes normalized and they can function acceptably, called functioning drunks. But when the blood alcohol level drops they perform so poorly that observers would think they're drunk. If the Captain "dried out" during the flight it would explain the atrocious performance on the approach, which seemed to be worsening with time. Paradoxically, giving him a drink at top of descent may have saved this flight.
Those stats are indeed, drunk stats... sit down
You drunks in the comments making excuses for this. 😳
"alcohol consumption also contributed to the accident"... you must be joking! the guy would not be able to stand upright - and he is flying the aircraft!

The plane was flying like he was totally shnockered. He sure did swear a lot for a pilot.
Imagine the last person you had a conversation with was basically the douche-bag at the bar who hates his life and brings his problems into your comfort space while telling you how to do everything in your life.
It sounds like Ryan Air dodged the bullet in hiring that pilot....
Don’t drink and drive a plane
Russian pilot.........= Enough said I'll take the hit and screw my money im going to a different flight.
❤😢What a Terrible way to go❤
When I was reading - Drunk Pilot Crashes a Boeing - I knew it had to be a Russian pilot .. being drunk is the norm for those guys :)))

I took an Aeroflot flight from Almaty Kazakhstan to Moscow and it was rough. The pilot looked like he was 16, his hat literally wobbled on his head when he walked. Then, halfway through the flight we landed in the middle of nowhere, I cannot stress this enough, the runway had no buildings, there was no city anywhere close. It was lightly snowing and after awhile, a fuel truck appeared in the distance, parked next to the plane and fueled us up. We made it to Moscow, but it was unsettling. It was a huge Airbus with about twenty passengers. The flight attendants were gorgeous and handed out vodka like candy at least!
Are you just responding old videos now?

all the "LOL THOSE RUSSIANS" jokes are cringe when they're coming from a nation of alcoholics like the USA. you'd be frightened to learn how many American pilots are at least kinda tipsy, hitting up the airport bar. ya'll are brothers in beers, have no fear.
The pilot wasn’t drunk. None of the accident investigations mentioned this? Why on earth provide false information info?
A drunk Russian! Who’d have thought it!
Could someone help me on the 2nd one. It seemed like they were doing all they can. It seemed like everything was fine and then it just wasn't. I know other planes have flown in stormy/unpredictable weather before and I'm sure wind shear is somewhat common. Could someone break it down further for me?
Thanks in advance peeps and sorry if it's a silly question!
Captain: "We'll have to do fucking gear down and all that shit..."
NOT what i want my captain flying to sound like!
Whats all the fuss about? If he landed the plane after he crashed it, that negates the crash itself?
ALL THIS GUY DOES IS REUPLOAD. GOOD GOD.
Then either find another channel or do a better one yourself...stop whining.
Most likely no longer the original owner. The difference is too glaring
What I get from these videos is that 90% of accidents could be avoided, it’s either pilot error, maintenance error or the airline trying to save money.
He would be fired in Ryanair for trying that bullshit.. He should have gone to alternate airfield..
So they just copied and pasted directly from Wikipedia. Cool. Love the high effort content.
Of course it’s in Russia. Even the fuel tanks are filled with vodka.
Turns out they had more than one 'attitude' problem on the Aeroflot!
Ayyyyyyo!
In the photos taken at the site the pilot looked like a pancake. an arm was the only thing left and some parts of the uniform. His hand looked like a hand of a Doll.
In Russia, they pour some vodka in the plane fuel for good luck.
Russia, a country there a bottle of vodka costs less then a bottle of milk, juice or soda !
😮😩😩😩😩😩😭 RIP Too All That Perished Sad
Couldn't they have used the autopilot to fly and land the aircraft?
Wow that's really sad story. Thanks for the vid tough
Aeroflot is Russian. Of *course* the pilots are drunk.
If Martin Scorsese directed a flight film.
Repeating yet again, this should now be called the Repeat Channel
Thankfully no more deadly or recent crashes to report……
I heard the original creator sold the channel. Now the new owner simply reuploads the same videos but in double or triple formats. In other words, the channel as we knew it is dead. We're better off looking for another one.
The Russkies do make good vodka (VOOD-KA!!!).
friggen drunk Russians always lol
CRM masterclass on the Russian flight
my gawd..so sick...pilot errors accounts for almost all crashes..so sad
How you know a video will make you cry:
"AUTOPILOT: DISENGAGED"
Why are you repeating videos? You have not made any video on Avianca Flight 052!
This channel has not made any video on Japan Airlines Flight 123 disaster (12th August 1985) either when it was also one of the greatest aviation disasters of all time!
For Russians Vodka is everything 🎉😢
So how many people died? It’s not mentioned in the video at all🤔
He was not alone in the cockpit. All of them were drunk?
Aeroflot. What else do you expect?
was the plane you used a 738 with 735 screens? everything else is the same, can't find an image on google like that.
Why isn't the Co pilot helping and taking over??
Lack of CRM

Is it me or are there a lot of crashes with Aeroflot?
Ill try spinning *hic* thats a good trick!
of course its russich pilot. not the first time
even me on fs2020 i never had spatial disorientation wtf, there is instrumentation everywhere
You have to be in a full motion flight simulator.
