  • I couldn’t find anything on UA-cam for an independent review with an install so here’s my version of that. Let me know what other camping products you would like to see!

    Nice vid mate 👍👍
I would have moved over to the left more (closer to the battery) and replace angle bracket with a straight one screw into the side of that slide out shelf. Also please record in landscape next time
    but awesome job 👍👍👍

Thanks for the feedback mate, I’m always happy to listen :).
Certainly new to this realm and will make sure the misses films next time 😂
Might do that now since I have time off!

I have the same drawers and fridge and actually mounted my brackets reversed so they are hidden under the fridge and I can still use the slide on the drawers to bring the fridge out further. And only needed a 1mtr Anderson lead.

    Hey Mate,
How noisy is the fridge while it's running? I'm looking at installing one under a bed base in my van, so don't want to hear it while I sleep.

      Sorry for the delayed response!
Being in my tray, I don’t hear it.
However, I have had a decent sample size now of it just running at camp ground with the tray open and its pretty quite. It does make a little bit of noise when the fridge ‘kicks over’ but that’s very minimal IMO.
Hope this helps and thanks for watching!

I was thinking about having 2, one for beers and the other for food. Just an idea as I hate using the bigger fridges and having to sort through everything and they're always too high. Cheers.

That would be a ingenious idea! I hope you did this!

Thanks - now after 10 months have you got any further feedback, have you tried or reviewed the freezer ?? I'm a bit perplexed as to why it only goes down to -10C ... 🤔
    Cheers - Ted

Apologies, I had taken a break from YoutTube.
In regards to your question, my fridge stays on 24/7 to this day with no issues. I use it everyday for food and drinks and it's perfect for a little weekender aswell.

      Hi Rick,
      I have and haven’t had a problem.
I don’t have it full during normal working weeks however.
But all the times I have used it for a weekender (20 plus times) I have had no issue!
Simple solution for a $15 job.

Hey mate, sorry for the delayed response.
      It’s doing really well.
I run it 24/7 and have no problems with it.
Can get stinky and needs a clean probably once a fortnight, besides that, when it’s on sale, buy one for sure!

Hey big guy. Just wondering, your left drawer that you put the fridge over, is that a slide top? If so did you theb anchor the rhs of the fridge to the rhs drawer meaning the topslide will not work now? Sorry have the same set of drawers and wanting to use the top slide with something like this

    • @Firehock1995
      @Firehock1995  Рік тому

Hey mate, sorry for the very delayed response.
It is the fridge slide drawer.
Due to my set up with all the cables everywhere threading through the wings and attached to my back battery, I wouldn’t have used the slide.
