Watched the first 30 so only commenting on that until I’ve time to watch the rest tomorrow. Look forward to it. Continue to be surprised people think our issue is strikers. Our issue is (mostly) midfield. The goals from midfield have largely dried up. The driving forward through opposition midfields has stopped. Most of our midfield seem to think their sole purpose is to feed the wing backs. Feeding Macca generally brings us to a standstill. Feeding Barney is generally too early and when he’s in our half. No idea why ppl would think different strikers would help when literally none of them thrive from crosses bar Palmer and he’s asked to play with his back to goal and fight for hoof balls which he can’t feed to Lee when he’s 30 yards behind him. Anyone remember when he first arrived; we fed him to feet and we looked awesome? Carry on as we are and fans will turn on Rodriguez in weeks when he also doesn’t win the hoof balls. All this to say that the mood was remarkably up given that the Stevenage performance was dismal and, after 5 changes, the Crawley performance was arguably worse. We had this mood this time last season. “Performances can’t get any worse. Results are all that matters.” Then performances did get worse and so did results until wr turned it around at the last. Smith is an excellent addition but Rodriguez, whilst his touch is class, has never scored more than 1 in 4 and won’t start now. His assist rate is also low. Given our hoof addiction his goals will be self made or nothing. Things to actually address: When your choice is Macca, Mendy or Revan. Play the wing back. Wten your choice is Dobson or Cannon. One who can’t give 90 minutes of anything much and one who can break lines attacking but can’t do anything defensively. At least give Evans a chance. Same ought to have applied to Jonah. Wten your choice is O’Connell or Scarr at centre back? One with lovely feet but increasing brain farts. The other with inbuilt; hoofing motion. New centre back. When your choice at left back is the chugging, casual O’Connor or the right footed Brunt? New actual left footed left back. Hundreds of our fans left before the end on Tuesday muttering dark things. When the equaliser came yesterday, and it had been coming for 20 minutes, hundreds not in a rush to get a train or coach, walked again. Results absolutely matter but performances win or lose you hearts and we’re losing them at the moment for the first time in a few years.
I think Parky took Arthur out of the firing line. He's still very young and another performance like that would see fans on his case. Right decision imo. I'm glad James Jones is fixed up at another club and a nice little club at that. I did t rate him as highly as others but he's decent and his vision and passing is good. I thought he was too weak when challenging but he did ok. I can see Ollie going out on loan now. Still a battler who can do a good job in league 1. Will Boyle is league 2 now, hopefully someone will come in for him. It doesn't look like Bickers has really lived up to his early promise. I had high hopes for him but I can see him being released on a free. We won't see Dalby again now, he'll run his contract down and take a good offer from Dundee United I think... top scorer in Scottish prem but I don't rate his overall play eg the defensive side of his game. The thing is, if this was a consolidation season then next season is definitely a big promotion push. Some of the players in our huge squad are just not quite at that level so I expect quite a few to exit by the summer. The saddest one for me is Jordan Davies. He was awesome for Wrexham and a local lad to boot. He never seemed to recover from his knee injury and that makes me so sad. I rated him as championship standard prior to that. He won't play for us again though 😢 George Evans? Obviously has quality but if James is keeping him out it's hard to see him featuring again. Sam Smith is definitely a better signing than McAtee btw. I think Bolton paid 1.5 million for him and he's been largely poor and can't get a start atm.
Literally an article out with the BBC that implies arthur came back a little early. Its unfortunate we are stacked with "big" strikers but not smaller ones. It clearly hurt us this year but didn't rectify it this window. Bizarre.
So the club screwed up on the fanzone, but it would have been OK if only we'd called it something else?! We went to selling 3 home games at a time because it was too much work to keep doing them individually?! Too much work with away games and the women's team?! Birmingham fans got tickets in the temp stand because we went from member sales to general sale in only 7hrs. Plus we did not run sufficient checks on who was buying the tickets that went to general sale - I saw a number of Brum fans posting on twitter about this very issue on that day. Can someone please tell me how much work is involved in setting up home match ticket sales via Ticket master? It can't be a great deal because it is only the date and opponent that changes (especially once we'd removed the 'fanzone' section before Christmas). What with fewer visits by Rob and Ryan, I sense a disconnect forming between club management and fans and I definitely do not trust Willamson to tell us the truth.

This was awesome. Everybody were in great mood and that was nice to see. Wrexham is going up. And then up.
Arthur’s young and has been pumped up plenty and a bit of accountability when he was poor will go a long way to keeping him humble and hungry.

Maybe Palmer goes to one of the other teams Rob and Ryan bought?
Very well done gents!!
