i been and i dont regret, typical video game adaptation movie, nothing bad nothing new, for sure better than recent Resident Evil movie or Fallout TV with low budget CGI or Halo flop

An animated movie probably would've been fun, as stylized and caricaturish as those from the intros, and i wouldn't mind if they re-told the non-existent story from the first game, there's some neat lore,(Tannis going mad, Dahl's first drops to Pandora) you also have a blank page of a villain to turn into anything, might just be the one adaptation where the meat head take of "just redo the game" would have some merit

The next Borderlands game shouldn't be a sequel, instead it should be a complete redoing of the 3rd game with the 2nd games writier coming back and rewriting the whole story, and have the 3rd games story we got retconned as a drunken rambling of Marcus.
Absolutely brilliant idea, it could be titled: Borderlands 3.5: The Re-do!
Since the fans have universally made their feelings on the storyline clear, change it, bring back the same villains, but, change the storyline, the whole game would be hilarious, just have the characters talking about the choices made in the previous game, making fun of it, pointing out things, that would be awesome! 💯🤯🤣

Did you see the update BL3 got for inventory? You can set anything you pick up below whatever rarity level you want to auto sell instantly. Probably one of the best QOL updates ever
I also heard they apparently let you create a max level character to skip ahead to endgame content if you've already maxed out a previous character. Kinda wild that they're still making big QoL updates like this for BL3!

im not sure but i think the reason the writing quality went to crap is because one of the main writers got fired or quit he was the guy responsible for writing pretty much all borderlands signature dark undertone and dark humor stuff in the first 2 games not sure if he worked on the pre sequel
So that explains why I stop playing it
yeah like games have logic in plot - why Roland shield wasnt active in Angel Room ? Why Jack allowed our character to respawn, just turn off NEW U Stations - they are hyperions.

@@Dar1usz well sheild don't work in universe the same as they do in gameplay for one for second respawn stations aren't actually cannon just a gameplay mechanic the vault hunters never connonocly die and when they do there dead for good
@@SoulshadeVr101 respawn stations are not cannon ? how, when they are literally in every game / quest from borderlands 2 about sacraficing yourself at eridium blight confirm NEW U Stations are canon - theres just no logic why Jack has simply not turned off respawn stations. But ok, if shields dont work as shields, so guns dont work as guns same with everything else.

2 hours of current year gearbox borderlands humor being screamed by Kevin hart in a movie directed by Eli roth and heavily reshot by terminator dark fate director might be the most nightmarish vision of hell i can think of
borderlands 2 and farcry 4 are both games that will just never age.
The Borderlands movie could've been a potential hit if it was a fully animated movie about a brand new cast of vault hunters doing their own thing. I mean cmon, this series' most recognizable visual characteristic is it's art style, who's idea was it to make it a live action movie with a geriatric cast playing roles that should be given to 20-30 year olds?

I'm replaying Borderlands 2 for the first time since 2018, and it's my first time ever in Co-op! Such an amazing experience, game is even more fun in coop than I remember it

I never played borderlands game before but yesterday I was downloading borderlands goty it was my first time playing it and it is fun
yup. it’s pretty solid. borderlands 2 is amazing. Borderlands: The Pre Sequel is kind of just alright in my opinion. Borderlands 3 is pretty fun, but the story is beyond awful, and the characters are pretty bad. Tales From The Borderlands is very good if you like that style of game.

BL3 messed up by forgetting that less can be more. Not with the loot, but with the maps, and the forced humor. The maps were just way too huge, with missions having you cross the entirety of the map, then go BACK to turn in the mission.
BUT, the real problem of BL3 is that the game FORCES you to listen to the humor. By that, I mean, the mission no longer starts until after the NPC does their monologue. In BL2 they're giving their monologue, but you'll be doing the mission as it's going on. So, if it's funny, you can listen as you play. If it's not to your liking, you're still having fun with the game.
BL3 removed that, and they put traffic lights on all the missions, so half the time you're stopped at a 'red light' and your objective is just to wait for the NPC to finish their 'jokes'.
I played 2 after I played all of 3 (Zane, best vault hunter). But both the twins and Jack felt cringy to me everytime they talked. Like, sometimes I would just mute while any of the three did their monologue so I didn't have to listen to it. But the shooting in any of the borderlands games feels so good that I feel like it makes up for it.
People should have figured that out when the casting was revealed.
Cringed at every single trailer every single time I've seen them. Miscast of characters and music.

The game itself is pretty cringeworthy. It’s not funny, the characters are irritating and the game itself is a generic post apocalyptic looter shooter with no interesting gameplay elements

Damm, theres a LOT of people at Hollywood that really like to throw money at the trash.
Borderlands 3 was really just sad, its entire story was villains had a bad childhood so we became evil influencers and that siren apprentice girl didn’t do the game any favors. Then new tales from the borderlands came out and it felt like the series lost its identity, if they didn’t make tiny Tina using characters from borderlands 2, gearbox would be in such a bad position.
I like the gameplay of borderlands 3 but 2 is definitely still fun and the characters are definitely more memorable than any other borderlands to me
Okay, so I still play BL2 but I also watched the Movie and you know what? I really enjoyed it! I truly couldn't care less about all the people ****ing on it. I like it, and that's all that matters.

I’m looking forward to the movie, I never read reviews and tend to enjoy movies more. Looks like a mix between Guardians of the Galaxy and Mad Max. Having seen the movie now it wasn’t perfect but it was a fun movie.
let's be real here a live action movie of a game isn't gonna be the same as the game an animated movie with the same cell shaded graphics would work i wonder how long it would take to animate a movie like that i saw it today it was fine i liked it i played all the games didn't see anything wrong with it sure the locations didn't look the same as in the games but that's a minor thing personally i don't think it's a waste of money to go and see it

If it was $20 I would go see it but by the time I am back home on the couch I know my bank account is going to be $50 lighter, minimum. I genuinely expect to get a chuckle out of it and when it's on a streaming service and I can rent it for $6 I will. I feel bad for this movie and a hundred other movies that got rolled over in the last few years. They aren't trying to rip us off. It's the messy place we are in right now.

I think borderlands 2 is good, but there are somethings about it that i dont like like you have to grind for hours and hours just to get a legendary something that i think bl3 fixed aside from its flaws bl3 is fun to play still i only ever got one legendary and it took days after that i gave up and moved on to 3

I'll never return to the third game: the quality of life changes weren't enough to compensate for unstable saves, the writing was a sinkhole that retroactively ruined the previous games' characters, the updates were deliberately nerfing fun things as if it was a pvp esport, all the bosses were boring stall walls, the jokes were the most insultingly juvenile nonsense in the series, and locking skilltrees behind a paywall without any extra characters just gutted any replayability as if the terrible netcode didn't do that already. I'd rather playthrough the presequel again, at least that fleshed out the characters respectfully, and at least it tied the stories together while keeping open loose ends.

BL3's whole issue was 3 things: Writing in general is like out of touch millennial twitter threads, the twins are not formidable or cool-- they are just annoying, Ava... Just everything about Ava is annoying and problem is that she is the most important character in the series after the ending of BL3, she basically becomes the leader and the most powerful person on your side, and she is so annoying. She is the girlfriend from Invincible type of annoying.

I wasn't so sure which borderlands game was the best in the franchise, almost all are good but i think Borderlands 2 is probably the safest bet. There's things i like more in pretty much every other installment,from 1 to Wonderlands but overall,Borderlands 2 is best.
There's no other video game franchise i love more than this,i tried many other games but nothing is like Borderlands/Wonderlands.
