This was quite an enjoyable watch, both the run and the explanations. I would be interested in seeing a "beginner's steps" for certain challenge runs and who would be best for each, would love to learn more about what can be easy or hard.
That is absolutely AMAZING! Thank you for sharing this Joltz and commentating on it! Such a great way to go over this. And HUGE congratulations to Deceptix! Such an amazing feat!
Hey jolts you should try and do some speed run history videos for the borderlands games, like show what tricks and skips were discovered over time to beat the game faster and faster
This is insane! I would have loved for the video to be even a little longer and going more in depth, but this is a breath of fresh air and im glad you enjoy making this kind of content for us again!
This video was very informative. BL2 is one of my fav speedgames and the speedruns are always exciting and entertaining to watch. The Pimpernel goes brr. Thanks for the amazing content Joltz, glad you are able to make content you like and not feeling burnt out. joltzHug
I love content around speedrunning, I thought it was really missing from your channel (the 600k special is a step in right direction). I love this kind of Wirtual, speedrunning commentary!
bro Deceptix is out here consistantly doing percise rocket jumps for an HOUR straight, while I still struggle with the strafe jump to see moxxis pantsu
I'm so happy I stumbled across this channel! I've absolutely loved Borderlands all my life and I had no idea there was a channel like this nowadays! You do an absolutely awesome job covering Borderlands 2 bro!
i would love to see you try some speedrunning sometime! I know you've done a few in the past, but pushing a full geared run like this looks like crazy fun and entertaining. If not, i really hope to see some of these skips in the future too :)
I remember the first video I saw from Joltz where he got record in the Guinness world record gaming edition for a speedrun for this category. Crazy how it’s so much faster now!
@Nathan Mkcane I know, just kinda made me remember how long I’ve been watching he’s videos for because that video was relatively new when I saw it (I think) it’s been a good few years now tho and I’m still here enjoying the content as much as I did at first tbh.
Much better speed run explanation then the one rocketsloth did like year ago. Guy didn't know shit yet he acted like he knows everything. Shit was funny and super triggering. Also this speed run was insane. The impossible was broken.
I think the glitch with the Pimpernel, Sawbar, and Flakker may be that due to them having unlisted projectiles that do splash damage, the projectiles absorb the damage of the mainhand weapon if that mainhand weapon also does splash damage (hence: the use with rocket launchers)
He absolutely crushed the 1 hour mark. Deceptix is a legend, the cleanest rocket jumps I've ever seen. No offense Joltz 😂 also loving the speedrun content. Hope it's helping you with your burnout.
Recently got super invested in borderlands, and tbh. Your content has helped me majorly in wrapping my head around play styles, because my play style before was 'krEig goUd •v°'. But yeah I hope youre doing well and that to me youre still and always be a legend in the borderlands community
this is just insane, there's times where he just floats like a butterfly across the ground, it's just nuts to think that someone was able to get a 53 minute run in the game
ahhhh i remember deceptix talking about grinding for sub 1 hour yesterday but then i fell asleep and woke up when he said he is hosting mopie... didn't think he would've done it yesterday what a madlad

Appreciate you showcasing others' feats like this, Joltz, now that you're kinda the elder statesman Borderlands UA-camr.
I just imagine the Hyperion soldiers in Hero's Pass seeing the dwarf flying through the air at mach 7 towards Jack and ralizing how screwed Jack is.
Mach 7 😂

It's funny to me that within an hour of jack trying to kill the vault hunter he completely ruined Jack's years long plan and coordinations
