much appreciated. thanks!
How do you test to see that the items will actually show up? Nervous to send without knowing it will work properly.
Hi. Does this work only with the logged in users on the website? Otherwise, how can MailChimp email those people?
My account is disabled so how to enable the options
Mailchimp automatically Understands abandoned cart products?
I followed your tutorial and thank you for this very informative and helpful tutorial. My only problem is....
Shopify has abandon cart under settings. Says there it will automatically send email to customers who abandon cart. If that's the case. Will this be in conflict with the mailchimp?
I hope you you can update the video wherein you covered completely the abandon cart by making sure it'll work with no conflict with shopify's default abandon cart.
In Shopify go to settings-checkout then scroll down to Abandoned checkouts and uncheck Automatically send... This will prevent any conflicts with mailchimp
@@klassike I've been looking for this answer forever, but I don't see where I can uncheck any of the e-mails from Shopify.
I cant find mailchimp on the app store. the first option is "Mailchimp forms by mail munch"? is this is the right one?
You need to use Shopsync now, it will connect to your Mailchimp Through Shopify for you.
Nice tutorial thanks! However from my understanding, if my e-client prospect is not yet subscribed to my newsletter, how technically Mailchimp can get my prospect e-client email address to auto-message him?
It only works if they went far enough to enter their info, so it won't work on everyone.
Hi. Why don't you complete the abandon cart email set up via Shopify's platform? Is there any particular reason for doing it via Mailchimp? Any differences? I'm looking to set up so that there's a potential sequence of emails. Thanks, D
Hi there - the reason we don't set this up in Shopify is because Mailchimp allows us to set a time and personalizes the message to send the reminder email. Shopify does not have this feature.
@@Wiyre Thanks for the info.
@@Wiyre thanks for your email. So if we set up with Mailchimp, will we have to go to Shopify setting and turn off the abandon cart email setup, or it will automatically use the Mailchimp app email?
But How Do We Turn Off the Shopify e-mails, I can't figure it out. I don't see a place to uncheck anything.
Mailchimp dose not work with Shopify anymore? Guess this is no good anymore
Can I use Mailchimp totally free of cost?
Yes you can, there is a free version available.
